Okay, gotcha'. When you get Montana Defense, your weapons are replaced w/ a better set (you can switch back) & the ones you were carrying just go away. The weapons could be bought before you buy MD, I just never pay for something I can capture in a firefight. Scarface on a next-gen? I'll keep my PC version & hold out for a decent patch (first one doesn't work), wouldn't want to give up the mouse for aiming.

You get over it & you move on. At your age, think of it as practice. In the mean time you figure out what you want to do in life & what you have do to get there. A who knows, maybe later in life she'll turn out to be the one to do these things with.

Realistically, the only thing most of us will ever shoot will be small game & targets. With a little luck, we'll never have to take arms in our own defense. A video game isn't much of an endorsement, but it's hard to go wrong w/ the Python. Stick to factory loads & you'll be fine. If you do get into reloading, stick w/ a good reloading manual (Lee's or Hornaday) & follow to the letter for powder & charges. If you want insano loads, you want a single action Ruger, basis for the .454 casull among others. The M4 will be pricey, but it's based on the AR-15/M-16 so you'll get what you pay for (a good rifle).

We already had 8 years of Clinton scandals, she can stay home. Now she's distancing herself from Obama & his previous drug use (may or may not have been dealing) & something about her I just don't trust. BTW, you can think her & the rest of the "Brady Bunch" for my being such a gun nut. I hadn't put a lot of thought into it until they started saying I couldn't be trusted to own weapons (early '90s). My response was to buy a cheap SKS & the collection has taken on a life of it's own. If you study history, you'll see a pattern among dictators that starts w/ taking away people's right to keep weapons. What do they have planned that they don't want law abiding citizens to own guns?

I think a wheel issue just crashes the game w/ UNHANDLED EXCEPTION, at least it did for me when I first started modding VC. If you can, try to find your car from a different source. It is possible the ZIP/RAR file was corrupted.

Un-install the game, de-frag & reinstall. Then re-install your cars one at a time & make sure the game works. The de-frag is to make sure you get rid of all the previous install. I ran into this when I had to reload & recognized some of my old DATA edits. Before you install each car, back up every file you plan to edit. This way if something goes wrong, you just delete the newest copies & put your back-ups in their place.

I'll have to dust off my PS2 version & try that.

Yemen. The lack of cars led to the infamous Yemeni donkey bombing back in the '90s. Authorities were never sure if the bomb was on or in the donkey.

I enjoy my PS2 & X360 on my 43" Sony (not HD, that's why I could afford it ). If I come across a deal on a HD, sure, why not. I just hadn't planned on it.

It's like dealing w/ a mean dog. Once they realize you're scared of them, they never let up. There's just no easy win to this one.

No word back on my PM yet. A GTA3/VC Securicar would almost be closer to the Jeepers Creepers truck. I've seen models extracted from Mafia, you might try & see if someone converted the "Rusted Metal" truck from there.

R* makes quality games & that takes time, so you're probably right about the little hints. By the time they were recording the voice tracks for VC, they probably had a basic version of SA up & working, same for GTA4 when they were making SA.

Swords are cool, so sure. Back in my pizza days, I kept a cheap Katana in the back of my truck (F-150 Super Cab) when I was working. People might expect the 45, but you jump out w/ a sword & they think you're nuts. Then they tend to leave you alone. Right now I don't have a practicle way to get pics from my camera to my PC, when I do I'll post my Klingon Bat'leth ($65 at a gun show). I just opened a topic looking for custom TXDs, if I come across anyone making them I'll send 'em your way.

Is anyone playing w/ TXD editors to make cars CARCOLS compatible (like both Monster trucks, the Bandito & the Hotknife). Want a little variety in the ones to show up in traffic. Can trade SA v1 script edits (weapons & vehicles) for them.

Wait for a heavy rain storm & run a stop sign. When the cop pulls you over, try to stop in a big puddle & when the cop asks "Do you know why I pulled you over?" respond w/ "Yeah, you know why I ran that stop sigh?". They just love that.
