Stojko
Yeah... I've played Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas on the PlayStation 2 using PS2 controls but I won't be getting a PS3 so I'm going to have to play GTA:IV on XBOX 360, will it be hard to get used to the controls? What buttons are used for the L/R buttons? Can someone post the differences? Thanks...
Alistair
It doesn't matter what the difference between PS2 and X360 is because the controls for GTAIV are going to be different than in previous games anyway - you'll have all the fun of learning when you play the game just like the rest of us
MishoM
Its actually easier to handle GTA with an Xbox controller, so you've got nothing to worry about.

Stojko
But what about the older games? If I sell my PS2, I'm gonna buy the trilogy for 360... I mean are there any major control changes?

No, not really. Right trigger goes when your in the car, left thumbstick moves, etc. You'll get used to it so quick man.

On 3 and Vice you can change the controls to classic that is just like ps2
Chris
Wait... I don't have the equivalent to X for accelerating and stuff? You can have it like that, I thought it was weird at first too, but trust me, it's a lot more intuitive using the trigger buttons. All Driving games on Xbox 360 use them by default, all shooting games use them as 'shoot'. It's really easy to pick up. I made the exact same transition as you, so this comes from experience

MishoM
Where did you find out what the controls for GTAIV are going to be? Those aren't the GTA IV controls, they're the controls from the Xbox version of GTA: San Andreas, but I believe the GTA IV control's will be some what similar to those. Kitsune Inferno
BTW: Left Bumper - White Right Bumper - Black And yeah, GTA on Xbox 360 is much easier to handle than on PS2, and that's coming from experience.
