Toast Boy
You should get a phone call after that mission opening another mission at Caligula's casino if I remember correctly.
Urbanoutlaw
You said you "don't get another mission to do", I presume you also passed "Green Goo", "Madd Dogg" & "Freefall". The next mission should be "Saint Mark's Bistro" "Green Goo" - Pick up at Verdant Meadows airstrip, from Truth. "Madd Dogg" -"D" icon at Royale Casino, 1 block S of Caligula's. "Freefall" ------Pick up at Rosenberg's office at Caligula's. Did you save after using any cheats? SA is really bad about that & saving after using a cheat (even early in the game) seems to cause this problem, particularly when you get to LV missions. Never figured out if it's a glitch or R*'s version of Punk Buster, but you're not the first to get bit by this one. Go back through this forum & you should find a dozen or so (at least) related topics from summer of '07. If this is the case, you'll have to re-start from a clean save (no cheats used). Also, are you running any mods (particularly one that changes MAIN.SCR)?
timmeh
I finished all the quest you say. Yes, I used cheats xD.. I always use cheats.. really like to.. Nvm... Urbanoutlaw
Bummer, people usually don't look on the forums until the damage is done. also a heads up, cheats also keep you from getting 100% complete.

Really? I didn't know that. All I know is that really excessive cheating can prevent you from doing the mission "Madd Dogg".
Urbanoutlaw
Most of the previous topics like this were about "Madd Dogg" not working right. Speculation - Cheats alter the save file somehow & so completed missions still show not done, "Madd Dogg" problems are the result of a glitch that alters lines the main script making some missions hang up or impossible to finish. LDoubleU
erm... may i make a suggestion? dont use cheats! it isn't that hard...
zmoonchild
also a heads up, cheats also keep you from getting 100% complete. You know that's not true, that myth has been disproven. You can achieve 100% Game Progress even if you use cheats. The only cheat that will possibly keep you from completing the story missions is the ‘pedestrian riots’ cheat, because you can’t complete the ‘Madd Dogg’ or ‘Burning Desire’ missions. I never use cheats, nor do I advocate anyone else using them. My advise is to never use cheats; I never have and I never will.
Urbanoutlaw
You know that's not true, that myth has been disproven. Well, obviously I don't know that. Can you direct me to a source? Not a big fan of cheats either, although I'll play around w/ them for fun (nothing I'll save). I do know SA savefile editors have a "Cheats Used" setting that can be cleared, the early one I used (got tired of re-accumulating weapons after "Green Saber" & "Da-nang Thing") to open the entire map had it. I think the README mentioned the cheat issue.

I think the README mentioned the cheat issue. I have been looking for the links, but I haven't been able to locate them. I can tell you, however, that it was pdescobar and OrionSR that verified that it is possible to achieve 100% Game Progress with Cheats; I have learned a lot from those two, they really know their stuff: they've gone through the coding over and over. I'll keep searching for those links. And, yeah, I guess you didn't "know"
Urbanoutlaw
So these guys found the part of MAIN.SCR that has the cheats? I'm definitely interested in that & would appreciate if they could provide the approximate line #s (un-modded version). Out of of over 550,000 lines (yes, I looked) it probably took them a while to dig it out. I'm guessing it depends on which cheat is used as to whether or not 100% is affected, was just going by an old GTA guideline.
†Ĵасқ•×•Āѕніяамі†
If the problem persists try downloading a save game file.
azn
I have a question; Can I start a new game, completely fresh, activate cheats but never finish the missions and it won't alter my other saves? You see, my brother and I both have beaten San Andreas' main storyline at least 3 times before and since we got bored of doing anything else we started creating new profiles and using cheats on them, but we never save or do missions with them and when we quit we discard the game. I do it very often when I get bored and it never alters any of my other saves' progress, missions, or anything like playing basketball in Mad Dogg's gym.
