VG-H3LGAN5H00TA
Hey all, I've been wondering how can I mod my TBoGT without a computer. I have a PS3 and I was wondering if I could just import the mods from my jump drive?

VG-H3LGAN5H00TA
So that post was very unhelpful. Are you saying I cant?
TUN3R
Far as I know. And if you succeed, you'll most likely be banned from PSN. If your really wanna mod your game go PC, or Xbox, Microsoft isn't that pissy about modding... Edited August 11, 2011 by TUN3R
Husky
There is no possible way to modify any game on the PS3. For a better answer, "No"
Huckleberry Pie
It is, being that the console has been opened up by hackers lately, but since the file formats on the console versions differ from PC, I'm afraid you'll have to stick to the latter version if you'd like to make the game yours. The Bossman
If you don't make the things you're trying to do public, you should be fine. PC is really the place you should be looking to for mods.
MrGrandTheftAuto
You can mod ps3, But you wont be able to play online. These mods are only minor (car handling etc). Im not going to tell you where to find these mods because they are illegal. If Sony finds out, your fucked! They'll sue you!

MrGrandTheftAuto
In their dreams. All they can do is ban you. They'll ban you, and tell you not to use PSN anymore, but if you do it again, they WILL sue you!

MrLanceVanceDance
You can mod on PS3, but you will only succeed in getting yourself in trouble. If you really want to mod, do it on PC. PC is really the place you should be looking to for mods.
Meshy
Well, as others have said PC is probably your best option because PS3 Is strict about people modding and installing custom firmware on their consoles. However Microsoft just overcame this problem by banning everyone from Xbox Live ( which is not nice!). Whereas PC has been around for years and computers aren't just used for gaming and there's no lock on the device preventing you to do anything on your pc, like consoles. Phew let me take a breath
MrLanceVanceDance
So, to sum up everything said, only mod on PC, never do it for PS3. Doing it on PS3 is giving the Sony guys an invitation to ban you.
