Spaz The Great
Ummm... Let me look. It looks like a cut-out Skyline with a background consisting of nothing more than a motion-blurred picture, more than likely that of the Skyline in the foreground. It looks nice, though..... I guess....
Taime
Yeh, It looks good, better that what I can do, Im just messing with the tools before I make some proper stuff.
westgate
The cut looks good, but the background needs work. It's not that the background is back, but it's just too simple. Looks good.

I cringe when I read "proper" used in the context that you used it. So yeah, work on that background.
Taime
Well, I didnt mean proper as some best thing ever, I meant before I start to make things and not just mess about, like I've been doing.

Uh, that is how I make sigs when I have access to photoshop.. messing around with everything. Oh well, the cut looks pretty good.. with the background mediocre. But yeah, it looks decent. I just hate the word proper. It sounds stupid. It's like you guys over there use "proper" in place of words like "good". It just bothers me for some reason. Gerard
To us Brits, 'proper' (prŏp'ər) means correct or real. eg The proper tool for the job (the correct tool) eg The proper form of a letter (the conventional form) eg The proper shape of an object (the real shape) eg A proper dinner, not just a snack (worthy of being called such) This example is the one that Taime used: "I will make some proper stuff" (Not just silly scrappy pretend stuff) She meant real and.. proper designs with effort in them, rather than just messing around with photoshop. That, sir, i believe is a correct usage of the word.

Spaz The Great
err.... that implies that he 'rendered' itoh well I'm ashamed of you. Let me clear this up RIGHT NOW. Cutting out an image that SOMEONE ELSE MADE IS NOT RENDERING. That is nothing more than cutting out an image. Rendering is when you actually design the object yourself in 3D. A good example is how the PS3 had some "pre-rendered" work. No, the didn't cut images out for those videos. They rendered them, in 3D, and then played them back for us. We already went through this shit on GTAWH and had to tell the same idiots over and over that cutting out someone else's render isn't rendering.
