Harwood Butcher
I cant really remember what Ving Rhames' voice sounds like but does it sound anything like Vic Vance's in the VC's intro?

Artur
Wow, didn't know about this. Thanks for the info. And no OGTAM Ving Rhames doesn't sound anything like Vic in the opening scene of VC. It's probably gonna sound more tough with no accent, pretty good decision by R*. K_P
Yeah, we probably would of got annoyed with the accent... Or maybe he will speak in an accent? Who was the voice actor for Victor Vance in VC?
ThePunisher
He sound very different by the looks of him.
Artur
If you wanna hear how he sounds just go look at a Mission Impossible 3 trailer and I think you will hear him near the end saying: "Welcome back brother." Or just go to youtube and type Ving Rhames. But trust me he's gonna sound pretty different and I'm almost 100% sure with no accent.
Harwood Butcher
Well I tried to figure out the voice actor for Vic by looking in the VC manual but I couldnt find his name. I did find a character called "Supplier" and I was thinking for a minute that it could be vic but the voice actor is Armando Riesco and I dought he voiced Vic in the intro. K_P
Who the hell is Armando Riesco?
Harwood Butcher
do a google search on images of him. The dude isnt even african american so he couldnt of been the voice actor for victor. It was interesting though that Armando also did the voice for Officer Hernandez in SA.

It was interesting though that Armando also did the voice for Officer Hernandez in SA. But Vic didn't have an African-American it was more like a Latin-American accent. And you don't have to be black to voice a black person (example: Cleveland from Family Guy is voiced by some white guy), same thing goes for every other race. So Armando could have easily (if he could make his voice with the accent that R* was going for) voiced Vic in Vice City. Harwood Butcher
Yeah but if you looked at all the characters then you would notice that most of them look like the people voiceing them. Thats another reason why I dont think this guy did his voice. Another reason I dont think so is because it says "Supplier" and they knew Vics name in VC 86' so they would have had "Victor Vance" instead. Artur
A little mistake there lol. Victor Cance but whatever. Yeah you're probably right, but who the "Supplier" then? Keep looking maybe you'll find out who voiced him. Edited August 30, 2006 by ArturKim21

I cant really remember a single person in VC that went by the name supplier and that could have been anyone that supplied anything to Tommy or anyone else. Artur
Did they ever reveal Victor's name in VC? Because if not he could go under the name of supplier (of drugs). But I'm not sure keep looking.
C.O.D
Vice City's Vic Vance's voice sounded a bit... no, alot like crap. Ving Rhames voice is deep, which maybe means that Vic is vicious. Vicious Vic!
K_P
I suppose it'll be better that he doesent have an accent...Some people may not of liked it.
Artur
Yeah it suited him in VC but if they used the same voice actor for him in VCS it wouldn't sound right according to how he looks. It wasn't that bad but I think Ving Rhames will sound much better in VCS.
Airashii
I agree, he even looks like Victor Vance himself. He should do a good job, like the others that have voiced the main characters in past GTAs.
