ethan the gta helper Posted November 18, 2006 Share Posted November 18, 2006 GTA IV is going to be an absolutely massive game,i'd love to see a new pay n spray feature that allows you to carry a spray can and be able to spray the cars yourself,putting all kinds of mad stylings on them,anyway,gta3,all the other GTA's on ps2 arent actually following the timeline of the numbered series,what i'm saying is,vice city,san andreas,liberty city stories and vice city stories were all made to show you the history of the characters that lead up to GTA3,so my guess is that GTA IV will have completely different people,all new locations and in the gta timeline,it is after GTA3,once GTA IV is over with,R* will release a whole bunch of other next-gen gta titles that explain how the characters came to be,just like the ones on PS2,get what i'm saying? also,GTA WILL NEVER BE IN AUSTRALIA,I LIVE THERE,AND TRUST ME,IT'D BE THE MOST BORING PLACE EVER,one more thing,expect to be blown off your feet with GTA IV,everything you thought they would have wont be there,every traditional vehicle from gta will be in the next gen title,such as the perrenial and pcj 600,but dont expect their same old look,they will get the next gen treatment,everything will look better than ever,remember this one thing as you ponder about it. "look at what rockstar games did with san andreas,how it broke so much ground and smashed all the competition,well,just think how good the GTA games will be after GTA IV!?! tilly Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 i want it to be in America, Japan, England, and be from 2004 - 2008 (with cars and almost everything to do with it change from the years), have CJ running the Casino and a big asian/black corporate gang, have claude running the mafia and yakuza, have tommy be pretty old and be the FATHER of a very big rich rich rich gang (make the gang very artistic, and creative [not there personalities but their creation] and have them be snipey like a ninja, stealthy, and crazy), and make everything cool. It's nice too see old faces again, as it brings back memories. I think an entirly new cast would be weird. I mean there's gotta be some sort of connection, to past characters. Maybe not as much as VC or SA had, but maybe just little things. Whoops just saw my original post in this thread. I don't want past characters to play a big role. It's still going to take place, on the same fictional earth as the others. Can't exactly make out, as if the others never existed. If it's going to take place in 2007, I would love to hear what happened to Claude after the events in LC, in 2001. These sort of connections I would like to see, not so much in the storyline. A good storyline , i think, would be that catalina and Claude (SanAn) fail immigration into liberty city and have to go to some other state (one that hasn't been in a GTA before), and so you play as Claude trying to support catalina while she shouts at you (inevitably), just one of many ideas i have had.... Also, given my storyline, claude could snap at catalina, giving us the first sound of his voice... It may sound stupid, but i thinks its a good idea...
