  1. Parental lock options (this may be crazy, but this may make Jack-O and soccer moms turn away from bashing at R*) More weapons Removal of the "magic sachel" thingy - you know, fling on the mouse wheel and the weapon will materialise on our hand, and replace it with an FPS-style inventory system Better soundtrack (mainstream/pop music may be cheesy, but at least it would be more realistic if we have Akon and all the big-time boys around the airwaves)
  2. I don't know enough about computers to make my own, but I could either ask my dad or my friend to build one for me. I was initially gonna go back to the GTAIII era of the series for my Machinimas, but I figured that if I start up again, why not start at the peek. Another reason why I'm thinking about making it with GTAIV, obviously, is because of Rockstar's video editing feature in the PC version. It seems like it'll be so much easier using that than 20 different mods for older games. If I were to just buy a computer in a store...what would you suggest? I want Windows XP, so I'll most likely have to buy it online, but what brand would be best for gaming? Again, I just need one that could run GTAIV smoothly...not some crazy ass computer. I could've used a barebones PC and do my trick on it if I were you, but since you're not yet into building PCs yourself, buy the most capable rig that you can afford (check at the specs, though, some OEMs, especially the ones for the home, are notorious for lacking things like a decent video card; the Pentium III-powered Pavilion that I had lacked an AGP slot!).
  3. To be honest with you, yes. But for legal reasons, we don't condone or encourage the use of cracked or warezed versions of GTA (or any other game) here.
  4. Primary/secondary weapon select hack, ala-Counter-Strike - no more magic sachels, ever, meaning it would be more realistic and challenging...
  5. I suck at SCM and CLEO, but making a mission mod based on Gameloft's GTA clone would be sweet...
  6. My cousin has that phone, only that it's a counterfeit, say like Chinese Copy-Paste Technology (in other words, a fake one which is almost identical to the legit one, other than a different operating system and lower resolution screen)...
  7. Well, it was nice... Quite awesome, although there are a few flaws...
  8. Dramatica is too morbid and disturbing for my tastes, although I browse there sometimes. I'm a member (and a sysop) at the Tagalog Uncyclopedia...
  9. A Nokia 6230i; kinda' old but does the job well, although I'll be changing phones in a few months, I guess...
  10. I can make a fabricated, spoofed "I got IV first" video, provided that I have glossy paper and some patience, along with a fake installer, which you can make in NSIS or Install Creator...
  11. They see me rollin', they hatin'... Man, that was kinda' epic; some Thanksgiving stuff for kids and interrupt it with an English pop singer? I wonder what the kids at home had to say about it...
  12. It's nice to hear that this began as a curiosity on Frontpage, and grew up to be one of the most awesome sites ever... Well, God Bless and hope we have some more visitors/members... EDIT: So far, here's the earliest archive of the site I found on Archive.org - http://web.archive.org/web/20030617125716/...hegtaplace.com/ - I haven't seen the 2002 rendition yet...
  13. If you have the original installer, life would have been much easier for you, perhaps... I have it but I don't wanna waste time installing the whole thing. My PC's too slow. I only need the SFX.SDT. Ohh, too bad I don't have one. By the way, how come you won't bother upgrading?
  14. If you have the original installer, life would have been much easier for you, perhaps...
  15. That's a pretty shabby clone for only $4. I enjoy certain clones of GTA. For example; I own True Crime (both Streets of LA and NY) New York is much better than LA, Godfather, and Scarface all for the original Xbox. Send me money so I can buy a 360! Many people think that the game Driver was a clone of GTA but it first came out in 1998. I have it for the PC. In the original game there is no visible player just the car. Driver 3 (DRIV3R) came out with the first viewable character but he couldn't do squat outside his car. So I would say yes DRIV3R is a clone but not the Driver 1 & 2. Sometimes cloning the game's play works sometimes it doesn't. It is sometimes hard to say if a game is a clone or not. I mean if you say all 3rd person shooters involved with a crime plot is a clone of GTA then it would be a silly idea. But most clones of GTA are pretty obvious. BTW my phone is not on their list so I wouldn't be able to buy the game anyways. JAB How about doing a total conversion mod for San Andreas and port some of the missions in Gangstar 2 to GTA?
  16. Soulja Boy is the worst African-American rappers. I'll parody him...
  17. I think he's the greatest modder of all time... Seriously, though, he's quite an awesome inventor; if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be having some of our modern conveniences...
  18. I see you have a liking for hot chicks, but this, is really epic...
  19. Which is too bad, considering that EvoLuTioN and a lot of other Indian GTA fans would like to scrap on GTA IV... To those who bombed Mumbai, shame on you!
  20. lmao nice. you could do this sorta thing with any other character / actor / anybody, someone should make barack obama getting rickrolled. obviously need to get a voice clip of him saying "no way" or "your kidding me" or something. i could do it, but i have no clips of barack. it would be hilarious imo Now if only that someone could port a Shirley Temple skin from The Sims 2, and turn her into a ped in GTASA, I could make a "Shirley Can't Escape From Rick Astley" spoof...
  21. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up, with Filipino actor Roderick Paulate roderickrolling fellow Filipinos in Manila... I dunno, that song got stuck in my head for some time after making a YTMND...
  22. It also doubles as a rickroll vid, especially Shirley Temple fans...
  23. It's actually a filler frame of some sort; she stares at something, smiles at first, and gets surprised when Rick showed up.
