  1. We won't give you the original data files for your game, as it would be illegal to do so, especially if you just downloaded it via a torrent.
  2. Agreed. Even a mentally stable kid can play such games, as long as he knows what he's playing and is responsible for it. Why can't Mr. Thompson and his mates blame the makers of some cartoon shows instead? They have violent scenes, too, right? Go blame MGM for Tom & Jerry's comic mischief instead! And Popeye, too, since that spinach-addicted guy's beating up Bluto... I guess R* should put up a public service advisory of some sort, ala-Need For Speed, or at least something similar to what the wrestlers say to kids who are about to mimic their moves.
  3. How about a grenade mod that looks like that?
  4. And I'm also waiting for that, Ice... Any more and we'll start modding it; an early proof-of-concept mod for the 360 version (although this isn't encouraged due to legal reasons) has already been done in the GTA Forums, you know...
  5. Agreed. If you know your limits and you're disciplined enough (like a martial artist, for example), you can play GTA, even if you're below 17. In fact, I've put GTA into practical use sometimes, using it as a resource whenever my seven-year old cousin asks me to draw something like a car for her projects...
  6. Me? I'm an open-source advocate; I know that most software companies see warez and pirates as vermin, but there are times that companies do nothing but confuse the user or force him/her to comply with some sleazy license or a rather complicated app protection scheme. I have a friend of mine who got pissed off at the BSA for those raids in his workplace, even if he's using a licensed version of Window$: I know that software companies want to earn bucks from selling their wares, and I don't encourage people to crack and use warez, but I think Micro$oft and some other companies are rather demanding and stuff when it comes to protecting their interests, going so far as to implementing mandatory activation schemes. I agree on R*'s notion of selling their software, since they pretty much spent a lot developing things and working with actors and actresses, but other firms' notion of "licensed, not sold" confuses some of us. Do I actually own my licensed copy of Windows XP? No.
  7. Nice... Now that's an epic win for R*, and solved the problem of irate fans demanding the PC release of IV.
  8. Of course; that's the reason why it's rated M, right? GTA isn't some little cream puff game, you know...
  9. Gee, thanks... OK, corrected as requested...
  10. Hmm, my parents don't really mind that much when I play GTA at home; in fact, my mum gets amused sometimes when she sees me piloting something in GTA; sometimes, she reads the prompts telling the player what to do, or something like that... And I'm 18...
  11. Here's mine (although you may choose to have an AMD cpu/board combo): ASUS P5S-MX SE Board Intel Core2Duo E4500 2.2Ghz Kingston ValueRAM 2x1GB Western Digital 160GB Serial ATA Any DVD drive Any more and you might turn out to have a configuration similar to mine...
  12. Here are some that I found: I'll make some more... God Bless and enjoy...
  13. Did you buy it from a store, or downloaded it via torrent? If you did the latter thing, then sorry, we can't help you if you just obtained it from a warez site...
  14. I never insisted on changing my screen name here, even if it sounds dorky to some; if I change it, then others will have to make do with the new name, right?
  15. Agreed. I don't intend to boss at the admins (since Sky told me not to), nor am I intending to dictate on what the staff members and regulars to do, but if you continue on acting like a nuisance, Doc, then maybe you should seek help on that.
  16. Adding to the fact that the internal names for some of the map assets in SA are LA and LV, which stands for Los Angeles and Las Vegas, which were obviously the basis of two of the cities in SA.
  17. I wonder what settings they used in ENB for making that screenshot...
  18. Look familiar? Santa Maria Beach in SA, with ENBSeries mod... ...or not...
  19. The My Humps thing: My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, My hump, my hump, my hump, my lovely little lumps (Check it out) I dunno, maybe it sounded ridiculous but cool...
