  1. You don't need an insane amount more than the minimum requirements. I've never heard of any game that REQUIRED a 64-bit processor..... Since when are games 64-bit?
  2. I think the graphics of the next-gen consoles are meeting the bench mark that the PC sets and, with in the next two yaers, will serpass them by a graet deal. I think this is because the game makers are just now hendering power of these machines and will one day soon, fully utilize it. You're an idiot, sir. PCs will ALWAYS be ahead. Why? They can be UPGRADED. The video cards out for PCs are more than double that of what the PS3 and 360 are running. Both systems were below what a PC can do BEFORE THEY WERE RELEASED. Hey, I liked you, thought you were a good guy but you call me an idiot. I don't come shitin all over you ideas now do I. Here's my point. the 360 has the power if not more power than a PC at this point. Sure they can upgrade but the 360 is all about how you utilize it's tech. If you do it right, then you will make a game better than any PC game ever made or that will ever be made. Plus next-gen consoles are just as upgradeable as a PC. Hell they practically are PCs at this point. No sir, you're wrong. Yes, ALL consoles are PCs. TONED DOWN PCs. Right now, as we speak, no console can touch a high-end PC. It's just that simple. The 360 doesn't have more power than a pc. My computer is running 2GBs of RAM, what's the 360 running in terms of RAM? No where near. Case proven with that alone. I have a 200GB HDD with a second 200HDD I need to install((I'm a procrastinator)), how big is the 360 HDD? Exactly. Case proven, again. What about the GPU of these two systems? It's already been said that the PS3 GPU is outdated in terms of the COMPANY THAT MADE IT, so it can be expected the same goes for the 360. They have 512MB GPUs out FOR GAMING.... Neither the PS3 nor 360 is running that. So where's your proof of your claims? Oh, yeah, you have none. Consoles are not upgradeable. You can't buy a stick a RAM, open your PS3, and stick it in there. Sorry, doesn't work that way. Are you telling me if you decided that Cell processor wasn't enough for you anymore you could go buy a better one and stick it in there? RIIIIIIGHT. I believe you. Entirely. Maybe so BUT! The PC is a dying in terms of gameing, slowly but surely. There are no good games for the PC and the few there are don't utilize it's full power. Sure you can have a huge game world in a PC game but. The PC games physics suck, the games suck, the controls (via keyboard) blow. PC is no where near dying. There are plenty of good games for the PC, and as it stands, a console can't properly do a FPS game. It just can't.... Of COURSE games don't utilize the PC's full power, do you know how OUTRAGEOUS a game like that would be? But that's just it, the PC keeps expanding... Once you reach a console's limits you're done... That's it.... Can't go any further.... How do PC game physics suck? That makes no sense. PS3 has some sucky physics on games. The 360 has some sucky physics on games. That's all about the people producing the game, not what it's played on((unless it just can't support it, and we're talking about something that has the ability of having 4GB+ of RAM, 1TB+ HDD space, and dual-core processors, with a 512MB GPU. Trust me, they can do a lot with that. A lot more than with a console. You do realise ALL the recent GTA games with the exception of LCS and VCS have appeared on the PC? The series STARTED ON THE PC. FPS and RPGs are significantly better on PC. The Sims on PC can't be touched by The Sims on ANY CONSOLE. Period. All of these are WAY EASIER to control using a keyboard and mouse((with the exception of GTA)). But as stated before, it's extremely easy and cheap to buy a controller for your PC. It isn't as easy to get a keyboard for your console. It's easier to turn a PC into a console than it is to turn a console into a PC. Cheaper, also. So again, where's your support?
  3. At the top of the topic, upper-right-hand corner of the first post there's a button that says "Options". Click that, and then click on "Standard" near the bottom. That should fix it.
  4. Dude, he made Land of the Dead some years back.
  5. Well I'd say it would PROBABLY be in the poll for what sex you are, not what your sexual preference is. But that's just me. That has nothing to do with homophobia. Normal straight guys probably don't like seeing gay guys have sex, for it's not what they're into. That's different from having a blatant hate for gays. And HEY!!! Bondage is some hot shit.
  6. Um, it kind of depends on what you want to buy. There are hundreds of thousands of combinations you could end up with all at different prices....
  7. Why is it NO ONE knows where to post their topics? You sure you were looking in the right spot?
  8. Shit man, speaking of zombies, you heard about Romero, right? He has cancer. He's only making one last zombie movie.....
  9. I never understood how people thought things were "too sweet". Dr. Pepper is rather sweet.... And how does a drink get "boring"? It isn't suppose to be exciting. It's just suppose to quinch your thirst and taste good.
  10. Because they're from a different planet? That's PLENTY of reason for them to be different from us, genius.
  11. Higher cards will lower in terms of SPEED, but not MEMORY...... You can put a 512 and a 256 together and have 768 MB of RAM.
  12. It doesn't matter how real it is, I doubt it feels the same as a real car. And I know crash avoidance skills exist, jesus CHRIST. I said the same ones you'd use in most video games won't work in real life.
  13. I could live off of Dr. Pepper, Bawls, and Mt. Dew. I actually JUST finished off a can of Dr. Pepper, as I was typing that last sentence.
  14. Um, no? Since I have on-board video, it has to share memory with my RAM, which puts my RAM a bit LOWER than 2GBs. Also, there are 256 sticks, 128 sticks, and 64 sticks. I THINK you could probably find 32 sticks, also. And some people, like myself, want GTA on Wii. Not GTA IV..... Just GTA.
  15. If that game calls for an AMD 3000+, and my system is running a 3500+, which ISN'T a "high-end" Athlon, why would it require one?
  16. That doesn't mean they are useless to any and all gaming now..... There are still really powerful Athlons. Y'know, like the dualcore 4800?
  17. Rather late reply, anyway: All life form needs oxygen. Without that you can't 'burn' energy. Or the stuff giving energie to the body. Even if there would be other life form, they still need that 'energy' thus also needing oxygen. And he meant Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas Again, without ANY knowledge of if there even IS other life, you can't say what they do and do not need. They could work entirely different to us and our planet. You can't say or prove otherwise.
  18. And shouldn't THIS be in Gaming? Pretty cool, if you prefer the 360's controller shape.
  19. Have you seen Epic Movie? And they'll probably eventually have the idea to make fun of themselves and make a "Funny Movie" or "Parody Movie" or something along those lines.
  20. And apparition can have a milky white glow.... Or green, or blue, or red, or turqoise. I'd imagine they could be whatever color they want to be.... Or maybe the color depends on their aurora? But then I'd assume there would be sightings of a bunch of colored ghosts, no? Who the hell knows, really?
  21. Actually we would have to worry because if it was as close to us as the moon is our move from Earth to "Earth II" would be pointless when the safe zone moves past earth it would take a short amount of time until it would hit us on Earth II...if it were to be as close to us as the moon is. Why would we have to pollute "Earth II"? That's a bad thing. Actually you were the one that started on that, I was simply saying what we needed to do in order to raise the temperature on Mars for our first move and you got Global Warming from that. No, I was continuing off of one of your posts. Those are a chain of posts by you and the Architect. He said it would be a good thing if Earth II was the same distance away as the moon. You said it wouldn't really matter, because it wouldn't be far away enough to be safe again. HE, though, was talking about if we killed our planet by means of pollution, then going to Earth II which would be just as far as the moon wouldn't be that hard. In the post I quoted you said nothing about Mars in the least....
  22. Nope, your specs sound decent, I guess. It's still really hard to determine the specs it will require at this point. But there are extremes, IMO. I doubt it would REQUIRE Vista, and I doubt it would be able to run on like 512MB of RAM. We can get a general estimate, atleast, I'd assume. Xpress is just on-board, right? No. I'd say nVidia 7600 or ATI equivalent Pentium D, Athlon 64? You nuts? Athlon doesn't even exist anymore and Pentium D is even worse then P4. 3)A game like GTA takes lots of RAM. And the PC version functions differently. If you have Vista you'll at least need 2 gig. 4)Do you know any computer with 600 MB RAM? 5) You will not need 5.1 or a sound card at all. Recommended: Windows XP. Vista to benefit from DX 10 RAM: 1.5 on systems running XP. 2 gig for Vista CPU: Core 2 Duo E6400 or AMD equivalent Free Space: 9 gig free space on HDD Graphic Card: nVidia 7600 (for DX 10 8600 GTS) or ATI equivalent. VRAM: 256 MB, 320 recommended. Why will minimum requirements NEVER be DX10? They would have to be, eventually.... And um, buddy, Athlon still exists.... My CPU is an Athlon. How do they "not exist anymore"? And unless you're sharing your RAM with your GPU and have a really odd combination of RAM, I doubt you'd be able to have 600MB of RAM. You could have 576, though. That's about the closest you could get. Unless you found a 32MB stick of RAM, then you'd have 608MB. But this has absolutely nothing to do with anything o.o
  23. Uh, yeah, it would be moddable. For it would be on PC. But it isn't happening....
  24. How good a movie is has really nothing to do with it's "effects". A lot of remakes make the story, characters, and events themselves cheesy in the movie. Take the Dawn of the Dead remake, for example. Those zombies were RUNNING. Zombies can't RUN. Now, granted, in the original they were feirce like that, too, but they actually tell you WHY. In the original, the zombie outbreak had been there for a while, and they just kept advancing. In the remake they go from happy peaceful town, to zombies, to raging zombies, all in 10 minutes. Not possible. Even though the production and filming probably looked better, the story was messed up a bit((in an important part, at that)).
