@raybob yeah true if you already got the game you may as well try. i thought he hadnt bought it yet. @nyxhero those cab errors are likely corrupt files or something similar, so either the disc is scratched or you got a pirated copy that doesnt work.

no its a Geforce 9100, this is nowhere close to playing it. if it was 9 series nvidia, you'd be looking at 9500GT minimum. also your CPU is 2.1GHz minimum is 2.4GHz for AMD. @Nyxhero nah the CPU is 1.6 you need at least 1.8. if you upgraded to 4gb ram and a 9500 instead of 8500 it's a step in the right direction, but you would still need to upgrade your CPU...

what's legit to use ? technically bypassing any copyright / anti piracy measures is illegal no question about it. having said that, if i was in scott's situation, i wouldnt go out and buy another copy of XP.

thats possible. ring up the windows activation number, then when you put your number in, it should say that its already in use so press 1 to say you are reinstalling it, and press 1 again to say that you removed it from the old computer. then it should be fine you dont enter the product key at all it should give you some installation ID, thats what you type into the phone, then it gives you back another ID which you type into the box in the activation wizard and then you're done.

well if you're so convinced you'd be able to run it since your system is that good, go and buy it and see if you can. just dont come complaining when it lags so much or doesnt run... this tells me that the rest of your system is not up to it, since your video card is a X1650. that should be a fairly good indicator to you.

I saw someone had it and they said it was good so I acquired a copy and I used it to edit a video myself, and it was great. It crashed halfway and I thought "there goes the past 45min" but then when I opened it said it found some recoverable files and recovered the whole thing The only other movie editing programs I've used was on Mac, iMovie and Final Cut Pro. I know there isnt iMovie for Windows but maybe Final Cut Pro has one, but its pretty in-depth / technical software.

yeah it is a shame. there is a chance you would be able to run it, like i said, see if stores have a refund or exchange policy, and if it doesnt work you can get your money back or swap for another game. another option would be if you have a friend who has it on PC, borrow their copy to see if it will work.

yeah u need x1900 you have x1650. and you only have a single core amd 64. but i understand what you're saying however i would think you wont be able to run it, if you could it would be all on low settings. maybe if theres a store you can buy it from that gives a 7 day return policy (like EB has one, if you dont like the game then you can take it back within 7 days) then buy from there so you can see if it works then return it if it doesnt. otherwise you take the risk of wasting the money on the game.

lately ive been using mainly my sniper and heavy class, sniper has the barrett 50cal with thermal scope and FMJ with spas12/grip as secondary. heavy has mg4 with grip and the at4HS i think. i always try and shoot down the enemy helicopters/harrier when i can. no luck killing the AC130 though, stupid flares stuff my rocket up lol. i dont really camp that much, if i do it's for like maybe 30 seconds because im in a good spot at the time, like 10 people ran past in that time was pretty funny. reminds me of the good old spawn killing days of medal of honor allied assault. set spawn points, so good lol.

i went in private match with my friend yesterday he was showing me how to get on the roof of that highrise level (with the cranes) its a bit tricky, like, he got it first time, then the next time died like 5 times trying to get up there. we tried doing it once in a actual match and its basically impossible, if you dont die trying to get up there, you're so open everyone would shoot you etc. but it was a cool spot. i think im level 26 or something in multiplayer my K/D ratio is pretty shit. im pretty sure its less than 1. yesterday when i was playing i got a airdrop and then someone killed me and took it, then i saw it was a ac130 gunner. omg i was pissed off.

yeah given its a laptop video card too, that definitely puts you under spec. you have a X1250 you need MINIMUM a X1900. and yeah like raybob said, your processor needs to be minimum 1.8GHz dual core intel or 2.4GHz dual core AMD.

OK so say you want to put codes for all guns / full ammo (godofgta) and invincibility. (rsjabber) so go to the user name, then erase whats there, type gouranga and press enter. it'll make a weird sound. different to if you type anything else. now erase that, type godofgta and press enter, again you'll hear that sound. repeat for any other codes then once you've entered all the codes you want, start playing.

Did you install the .Net Framework packages? If that does work, then yeah just do what he said 'cause there's nothing else I can think of. Are you using a modded/hacked/copied/whatever version of Windows? did i? lol. i presume net framework would've been installed generally it comes along with windows updates

maybe email/call rockstar tech support. if they cant help, take the game back and say it wont install they'll probably give you a different copy.
