Yeah a big problem with brand name (eg HP, Acer, Compaq, Lenovo) pc's is that, some specs look good, but theres a few (usually video card) that will, once you see it, totally put you off the computer. For example the HP Some specs can be upgraded easily (like video card, ram, hard drive) but the problem there is, at least with video card, the power supply that comes with the PC is pretty much good / will work for the specs it came with. If you had a 7100 (like this has), then you put in a 4850, the computer will for one, now have a massive bottleneck (the cpu), and two, you will probably need a new power supply. I would be going towards an option like chris82 said, buy a barebone pc from newegg, or just buy all the parts seperately.

it'd be cool if it was set in australia, but i can nearly say for sure that it will not happen. how about a worldwide GTA...start in whatever city, go to other cities to do certain missions, that'd be cool. sorta a open adventure type, choose what you wanna do. with the missions i mean.

if you are in the market for a new video card, a 9600GT is a good budget sorta card (i think its like $120AU here, dunno bout wherever you are). radeon 4850 is about $220 here, that's prob the best value at the moment...i wouldnt go any lower than a 9600, cos you would probably have trouble with it (prob have to run in lowest quality etc)

not entirely true. depending where you are, they should still sell it in pc shops (not department stores, but the pc shops like where you would buy hardware). they do here at least.

run windows update or whatever then just follow those steps. not that hard

I don't think there is another way, but sometimes SAMI messes up. one reason it would crash is that, you have a car right (eg ZR350) saved in a garage. Then you mod it. Then you go to your garage and boom, the game crashes. You can either use a trainer to empty all the garages, or you can just load your save file , go around to every garage and empty the car. OR just start a new game. sometimes it is simply cos of a bad mod. There might be a "repair" option for GTA San Andreas, so that it just replaces the files that are missing/corrupt, im not sure of this though. For future reference, what I do is, after i install GTA, i make a copy of the entire folder (GTA San Andreas), then put it somewhere else on my hard drive. Then if i forget to backup the txd/dff when I install (or something goes wrong and it wont start) i can delete the bad folder, and copy the good one to the same place and start over without having to find the DVD. And if you wanna be really careful, just use IMGTool, I think the success rate of that is a lot higher than SAMI.

CHEAT DEVICE!! for god sake get it! lol. you can just spawn a whole bunch of explosive barrels anywhere and then shoot one and BOOM! lol. tons of other stuff too. if the vcs cheat device is anything to go off, you will have fun for a few hours easily. but it might crash ur psp (it will just turn off, no problems/issues). or play multiplayer with someone else that has it. thats all i can think of. LCS is a sorta boring city imo

Well it is sorta taking off here (i think)...the mentions of internet based downloads (like downloading movies from iTunes store etc), it just won't work here i think. Not with the download allowances that we get , and the respective prices, (i think it is $65 a month for us, for cable 12gb onpeak/24gb off), movies in HD quality would be huge, a 720P tv show was like 1.1GB, so 1080p with surround sound would be even bigger...you would use up your monthly allowance just with a couple movies...

nice lol. v6 supercharged. that'd fly. well this was only for motorkhana i think (theres like cones laid out and you gotta navigate correct way through the cones, its usually lowish speeds, like <50kmh, that was one of the first events i did...pretty fun nevertheless) but yeah it sounded pretty mean.

hmmm i had a similar problem, except, i could add mods, but now i have about 15 cars modded, then if i add anythign else, it will crash. i tried like 5 different mods, even one i knew that works. it's a bit of a weird one, i posted here and nobody knew what the problem was. Vista wouldn't help either XD Only thing i can suggest (it was the only solution for me, the problem is still back though) is to just do a fresh install (uninstall vice, delete folder, empty bin. reset. install vice and go from there) btw iam running XP, vista is fail
