  1. LOL. congrats orange though that's pretty cool i guess. The one you mentioned earthbound lol..i dont think that'd run san andreas...i had a MX420 and 2GHZ p4 in the old hp machine we got (its got a fx5200 and 1gb ram now - up from 256 lol) that is ok now. but yeah.
  2. @Lid431 .. yeah should work fine. @Nedizz .. cant say ive heard of that PSU brand. go for a brand name like antec, coolermaster, thermaltake etc. yeah 3gb of ram would be plenty, XP and Vista 32bit will ignore any ram over like 3.75gb or something. Not sure the exact amount. I dunno about ping and where servers will be n stuff like that, sorry man. Also dunno whether you can host your own server :S It'd be good though. @Captain318 holy fcking shit...wow. Well that's a eye opener for sure! jeezus. Fast quad core and a gtx260 you still cant max it.insane. You should post some screens, and then someone find some 360 / ps3 screens, to compare maybe. crazy! Maybe someone will have to buy the top notch i7 and crossfire 4870x2 to run it on 1080p full quality LOL. @chris82 yeah i have to agree with that, although previously games were not optimised for quadcore, now they would be, since its more popular and is slowly coming in. i would also say yeah, quadcore now over a dualcore.
  3. yeah we learnt about the niagara falls thing, for the competition to get the contract for electricity or something like that. in physics lol. the only stuff i totally remembered was the historical stuff...all these formulas and shit, not to mention the worst teacher ever. lol. well generator and motor are like the opposite. motor starts with electrical energy then turns into mechanical energy (eg spinning a wheel). generator starts with kinetic or mechanical or whatever it is (like you turning a crank) then it makes electricity. i dunno what the thing is called, but, its like this ball, and theres brushes in the bottom that spins really fast, then makes heaps of static electricity. then you get some stick and put it near it, and a spark goes like nearly a foot. pretty cool. that was like, nearly the only interesting thing in physics...oh and dry ice LOL. but yeah edison contracted him to do the niagara falls thing then he betrayed him...
  4. Wii Fit tells 10 year old girl she's "fat" lol i saw this and i couldnt help but laugh at how dumb these people are. honestly, you are gonna take a game seriously? And especially something like that
  5. Meatplow - Stone Temple Pilots -> You Don't Know (Hott 22 Mix) - Stonebridge
  6. hey. i had trouble with this too (didn't know what to do) Ok, so what you gotta do is get in the icecream van, then the mission triggers right. Then press the button that you use to turn on a siren if you were in a police car (on PS2 it would be L3 - push in left stick, not sure about XBOX, for PC it should be Shift), then this turns on the music for the ice cream van. Now, you gotta drive till you see arrows appear above peoples heads, then stop nearby, they run to the van and buy the "ice cream" off you. You have to get 50 deals without leaving the van / getting wasted / busted. You can go to pay n spray to get rid of your wanted level and fix the van. Then once you got deal number 50, hop out of the van. Then it will say distribution mission over etc etc, and the ice cream factory will make money now. Some good spots to do the mission: The beach on the east island (like, near where you start), only cos cops don't regularly patrol there. Also the docks area (near the boatyard) , because there's a pay n spray quite close. Good luck
  7. lol what about the HSV Clubsport R8 Tourer (wagon) official page 6.2L LS3 V8 - 317kW and 550Nm of torque (i think thats 425hp and 406 lb/ft)
  8. bump but.. the only thing i can see being the problem is port forwarding in your router settings. to fix these , go to run. type cmd. then in the command window type "ipconfig". then it will show some information (IP, subnet mask, default gateway). write down the default gateway address (might be 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1, or could be something totally different depending on how things are set up). Then get the default gateway address and type it in to internet explorer where you would regularly type an address. Now it will put you onto your router setup page (or more likely a login screen) where you put in your username and password (try admin / password or admin / admin or admin / no password). Then there will be a setting for port forwarding, then you gotta find out your 360's IP. go to portforward.com and find the make/model of your router and it explains it there with screenshots.
  9. Well you can just have a wired connection into your DSL modem or whatever. Then have a network cable from there to your 360. Or you can buy a wireless access point and buy the wireless add-on for 360 and do it that way. Although if there isn't a lot of distance (same room or something) I'd use wired. Wireless (in my experience) sometimes drops out etc and you don't want that when playing Live.
  10. @Nedizz well 4870 is a great video card, definitely up there. AMD X2 6000+ you will be able to play for sure. also, make sure you get a brand name power supply (antec, thermaltake, coolermaster etc) with about 430W + (i think thats enough). I'd get another gigabyte of ram too, 1gb is enough for day-to-day use, but if you are planning on gaming i'd get at least 2gb. Also are you going to use vista or XP ? Vista will give an advantage with DX10, but like I said before, you'll want more ram. what internet type do you have? and what speed is it? go check on speedtest.net. 150ms isnt too bad, when i played medal of honor online on USA servers, my ping was like 250. its ok, but dont bother trying to snipe people cos it just doesnt work. @Lid431 Im not too sure about your specific mobo, but other ASUS P5L have a PCI-E x16 slot. I'd be saying yes, but check before you order it. Google for "Everest", a program that tells you a lot about your computer and it will tell you what slots your motherboard has @Chip Yeah i think you would be able to play on low.
  11. also no longer available :S edit: well youtube was being a ho. works ok now. lol...
  12. no longer available i hope someone downloaded/saved it.
  13. hey i think your problem is that you got a v2 savefile, and your trying to load it with a v1 savegame. OR wherever you got that save file, they were using script mods (main.scm mods) and so wouldnt work. OR you are using script mods. or you put a vehicle mod incorrectly and its crashing.
  14. lol fail :P

ah not much tbh hanging around at home, playing new cod online (on wii). booked in a microsoft exam for next monday...you ?

  15. haha yeah. my mum still has V3 RAZR. Only problem is the battery is gone to shit. It works ok, but one minute it will say full battery, then like in 2 hours (after we leave the house) without making any calls or anything, the battery will be red. although thats the deal with most electronics / li-ion / ni-cd batteries isnt it?
  16. not with that video card you wanna be aiming for the second number being a 6 .. eg 8600 9600 ... then you will be able to run on low/medium. assuming you have a PCI-e mobo, you can upgrade to a 9600GT for around $100US or $130 AU (us price from newegg, au price from msy.com.au) then you will be able to play.
  17. sweet. i knew there'd be user tracks. lol. well 4850 or 8800gt isnt anywhere negative on that list (not that i have either yet). maybe the things dont support damage cos of DX10 ? maybe...i dont think so though. yeah as said , some patches will come out soon to fix those problems.
  18. Nokia N81 . Not the 8GB version, just the normal one. It comes with a 2GB microSD, i can buy a 8GB card for like $50 if i really want that much space. mine is the one on the right, the left one has some retarded blueish thing...mine is like silver/black 360degree view it has ngage type games (buyable meh) , a headphone slot for regular headphones, Wi-Fi...oh and uses Symbian S60, not sure if that's much of a feature.
  19. Yeah she is good looking and all, but, she never quite suited the rest of the picture... I like it how it is at the moment, with holly as your ava and that as your sig looks good
  20. hey i think i just figured out your name lol...earthbound has something to do with ness? SSBB teaches stuff! lol.

  21. Lightsonic - Groove Armada -> Komodo - Mauro Picotto you wont recognize the beat of komodo, but if you listen to the chorus, you will have heard it on the radio or something a while ago. i heard it and im like..hey! i remember this from when i was like 8
  22. Would you be so kind to tell us what kind of videocard you have, but the rest seems fine, although you could buy 2 gigs of extra ram, always handy! sure is this where u looking for?xd i hope that i can play gta iv on my comp @chris82 yeah i think they did mention something about drivers or whatever. I think cos they tested it on a really new card (whenever it was), that too. @gtaivnerd Sorry to say, but no way in hell. You got a intel integrated graphics = shit. @Mabuba the requirements are posted. whether you can play or not, nobody can say for sure, but you might be able to play it on lowest settings. @extender you should be able to play that easy! E8400 might be core 2, but the end of the day , its 3GHz core 2. I think when they benchmarked other games, they compared that against Q6600, Q6600 was only faster at stuff you would expect, like video encoding and stuff like that. Although GTA4 might be more optimised for multicore compared to other games / apps. 8800GT as well is a very good card. If they are saying the "recommended" is a 8600GT, you will be able to run this in very high settings I would think...what resolution do you run ? You would have no problem running 1280x1024 in very high detail. Although that's not a guarantee, I am pretty sure you would be able to run it in high settings. If you have Vista you get the benefit of DX10 too, so that will help too. @ice no. not with a intel integrated. as said before, you need a reasonably good dedicated video card (9600GT is a good price about now..$120 i think) to be able to play this.
  23. I haven't bought many new PC games (I haven't pirated them either) , simply because my laptop can't handle them. But DRM is like...a way of life now. It's good that you can install unlimited times, because when there's things like that (install on up to 5 pc's) , it becomes a bit of a pain. Say for example you have changed some hardware in your pc. First CPU, then you reinstall. So thats 2. Then video card, thats 3. Then you need a new PC. thats 4. It just doesn't seem necessary. Although online play will be good (i hope) so that will motivate many to buy it. I dunno, i've always preferred having the physical copy rather than a Steam version...
  24. South Park S12E14 ... the season finale of Season 12 of South Park. "The Ungroundable" . Hilarious.
