There's a fix for the spinning camera...
Quote from Rockstar (Yes, GTAForums has a Rockstar Rep =/ ):
Look / Spin / Stuck Key issue:Title Update 12/12/08
With the latest Title Update, some users are experiencing a Look/Spin/Stuck Key issue that interferes with user input. The temporary fix, described below, will restore Keyboard/Mouse and XInput (360) controller functionality. Support for DirectInput devices is currently limited. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
To fix the issue:
A1) Unplug any DirectInput controllers (gamepads, joysticks etc..)
A2) Reboot your computer
A3) Launch GTA IV
If the issue persists, the following instructions are provided as a guide to assist you in deleting the conflicting DirectInput drivers:
B1) Exit game
B2) Go to Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager->Human Interface Devices
B3) Locate drivers for devices
B4) Delete drivers for devices
B5) Launch GTA IV
**Some users are able to reinstall the drivers for their DirectInput devices, with the device attached, and have found that it will work in game. If you do attempt to reinstall your device and the problem resurfaces, please follow steps B1-B5 again.

No warez, eh?!
-
It's fixed now... Also, I haven't detected any bugs in my game since that.

What do you mean? You mean that the camera doesn't stop making circles?
If yes, here's a quote from Rockstar at GTAForums:

I just found this RockstarWatch (Rockstar Games) featured video:
Could this be another mod?
-
I sure will but well, I hate passing the time seeing a video render so slowly

Schotch Bonnet Yellow Route, Birdseye Winder Yellow Route and Cobra Run.
Name the mission where you have to save your brother from being killed.

Also, the MTA Admins here are Twisted (Connor) and Evo, along with the TGTAP Admins.

No pics but there's my gaming setup:
Teh Monitor: 17' Acer AL1715
GFX Card: nVidia GeForce 8500GT (Overclocked exclusively for GTAIV) - 512MB
RAM: 3GB
A PS2 lol and a Xbox 1.

Well okay, it can not work for Hot Coffee but that is the explanation for other main.scm mods.
-
You can't use hot coffee without an original V1 game, in V2, even if you downgrade, it's still been taken out.
Just because of main.scm? Dude, if the .exe gets downgraded to V1, ALL files are moddable.
The "guy" who controls the file managing (mods in this case) is the gta_sa.exe, so after the downgrade, all files are moddable, even main.scm.
@WhtTheFawk: If you have the time, try reinstalling the game and then applying the downgrader again.
-
And yes, Rockstar also lied in some other stuff about GTAIV: PC....
-
Well, seems that Rockstar lied.
-
Do you have a no-cd crack?
Also, if you downgrade, you can install Hot Coffee since the .exe gets moddable.
-
No problems

Just found out that this member doesn't have a group.
Is this a bug or something?
Edit: If you ask anything, he's a friend of mine.

(Sorry for double post)
Well, I see this is inactive so another question:
- Who is Sweet?
-
Well, 2.2Ghz in a Core 2 Duo isn't slow. (AMD doesn't have Core 2 Duo, I know)
So will ya say that my Core 2 Quad at 2.4Ghz is slow?
-
Glad to help
-
For me is backwards
The bench says I have 21.9FPS and I can run it at almost 40FPS
-
You still need V2 saves because the downgrader doesn't downgrade main.scm. Only the .exe so the game can be moddable.
You need a V1 main.scm (Replace it with the old file in "SA ROOT FOLDER/Data/Script") file which you can google as "GTA SA V1 main.scm".

Today it said that the average was 24 and I run it like... at 35FPS.
