  1. Firstly, welcome to the forums. This is also in the wrong section. Yeah, you have to be in a car then press whatever button it tells you to press (not sure which console you're playing on) and she'll get in. Take her to a quiet place and then the action begins.
  2. I thought it was L2. But yeah -
  3. Use cover wisely and once all the guys are dead, grab the brown and you should see a door, jump off the stairs and head straight for it. Packie will follow you, and Michael and Gordon will stay behind and defend themselves. Follow Packie, get into the boat, and drive to your location.
  4. It feels like there's loads more missions left. I've only done 73, got a few contacts left as well.
  5. Looks nicer with content, I would have used lorem ipsum, but that's just me. You uhh... also spelt sponsor wrong. Will you be making any more templates for the other GTA games and possibly use them on different areas of the site?
  6. Pretty cool. I would probably tone down the grunge used on Niko, the rest looks cool. Also noticed a spelling mistake, it should be recognizing, but I'm guessing it's just a beta. Will this be available to download after you finish it?
  7. I found out that I had another save game just after the mission, so I decided to continue on from that and when I got up to The Holland Play, I decided to kill Playboy X instead. Killing Playboy is much harder than killing Dwayne though.
  8. Are you sure you installed it correctly? Can you also give me a link to the mod? Just for testing purposes.
  9. Wrong forum. Gameplay & Help would have been more suitable. The gta_sa.set file is in My Documents > GTA San Andreas User Files.
  10. Welcome to the forums, Leprechaun! We hope you have a great time here and remember to read the rules and some other shiz.
  11. Last Stand. In which mission must you pick up Lance from Escobar Airport?
  12. Which platform are you playing it on? If you're using a PS2, there are loads of cheats here, for PC click here and for Xbox cheats, click here. All cheats are to be entered during gameplay.
  13. I'm trying to balance them both but it looks like GTA IV is winning. There's not really any spoilers on here.
  14. Once you get in the truck, make a waypoint to the nearest Pay N Spray but make sure the cops aren't following you. If they do, then make a waypoint to the other Pay N Spray or just run around town until you lose the cops and return back to it.
  15. Stay down boy! Stay down! It's not like Hot Coffee though, which is good.
  16. I bet I know why you don't give out your MSN. Because random people add you for no reason and most of them don't speak English. It's happened to me too.

  17. Just checked and you're right. It's back. Quick, load the gun!
  18. Grand Theft Auto IV has been next in line for the throne for a long time. Finally, its time has come. Personally, I thought GTA IV was astounding, the scenery, graphics and especially the storyline. It might have its bugs/glitches from time to time, but there is a way to solve it. I just don't know what it is yet. GTA IV certainly has been the most entertaining GTA game I have experienced, the missions are hard (which is good), all the cars in the game have been re-modeled. Liberty City looks amazing, especially at night while cruising through Algonquin, watching all the buildings pass by in your vehicle. Sure, it has its ups and downs, such as the game freezing from time to time and multiplayer errors, car handling may be a bit dodgy but once you get past all that, you will know how excellent this game is. You can change the lighting in the game by accessing the display options, which is good. Police AI is good, they're much more aggresive than the previous installments and do their best to hunt you down. Car handling - I agree, it could be improved but all you need to do is use the handbrake once in a while. You may agree that when you do try to handbrake, your vehicle spins out of control and you end up flying out the window, all you really require is some practice. There was also that blurry effect when viewing buildings from a distance, but I guess that's just Rockstar's way of doing things. Niko is definitely the best character in my opinion, he's certainly agile and fit. He shows that he also feels a sense of remorse for the things he's done in the past and his only agenda is to go to the top and find that special someone.
  19. I'm sorry. Liberty City has been completely re-modeled, the only way to get to Marco's Bistro is if you play San Andreas or GTA III or Liberty City Stories.
  20. Because, people just wanna have some fun. It's kill or be killed. If you can't handle that, then whatever. Have you ever heard of the PlayStation Eye? I doubt it.
  21. No problem, do you want me to change it? It's no bother, it'll only take about a minute or two. If you want, I could also add a border to it.
  22. Make sure you installed the mod correctly. What type of mod was it?
  23. I completed the mission in a Cavalcade, I think it's called. But yeah - drive fast but not too fast, you end up crashing into things and then you lose the train.

So, you'll need IMG Tool 2.0 and Notepad. Open IMG Tool and press Ctrl+L, then locate your gta3.img and click Open. You should have a big list of .dff's and .txd's, no worries. Press F2 and a small window should show up. Type in sanchez.dff and click Find Next. You should then have something look a little like this: Press Ctrl+R and locate the sanchez.dff that JVT has provided. It should then load for a bit, and it should work. Now for the tricky part. Open your handling.cfg and default.ide which can both be found in the data folder. Open the default.ide and it should open it with Notepad, if it doesn't, then right-click on it, and it should say Open With, choose Notepad. Scroll down and look for a line similar to this: 198, sanchez, sanchez, bike, DIRTBIKE, SANCHEZ, biked, ignore, 7, 7, 0, 16, 0.65 Copy the code that I just gave you (which is the same as JVT's), highlight the Sanchez line and press Ctrl+V. So, that's that part over. Now follow the same process again except this time open the handling.cfg and search for a line similar to this one: DIRTBIKE 1100.0 1.2 1.8 1.5 0.0 0.05 -0.09 103 1.6 0.9 0.48 5 190.0 50.0 R P 19.0 0.50 0 35.0 0.85 0.15 0.3 0.15 10000 0.15 -0.16 0.5 0.0 10003 1 1 Copy the one I just gave you and highlight the original handling line. With that highlighted, press Ctrl+V to replace it with the new one. Click close and save it. Remember to always back up your files before you attempt to mod them! So, after all that, start the game to see if it works. If it doesn't, post back here and we'll try to assist you. Welcome to America The GTA Place.
