  1. Lol yeah that was a stupid question. He must've signed multiple contracts as anyone would doing his sort of job. Including the infamous NDA's. I think when we do our interviews we'll probably stick to prolific modders and other members of the GTA community, as opposed to voice actors and such. We'll also select only relevant and interesting questions which the interviewee will actually be able to answer. It makes for a better interview and provides a much more fulfilling and interesting read for the readers, in my experience.
  2. Through his official website most likely. Interview was done by email. I was talking to their webmasters about it because it just looks so unprofessional for him to do that. He allegedly answered the questions in the middle of the night which is why he says "lol" a lot and has spelled a hell of a lot of words wrong, grammar is poor and as Connor pointed out, used wrong words such as "feet" instead of "feat" (which I lol'd at) and "seen" instead of "scene" which for an actor is a pretty basic word to know. Perhaps he was under the influence of drugs whilst answering? I agree they selected a lot of poor questions, asking him stuff he obviously wouldn't know. PC version differences? WTF, why would he know that. There's some good ones though. Also unlike some other fansites we do like to support the community. And to give GTA4Mods some credit, unlike other new fansites they are actually trying to be a little different, e.g. getting interviews and such.
  3. Maybe but it will be very slow. You'd have to play at pretty low settings, BULL.
  4. It's the 5th time actually GTA1 GTA3 GTA Advance GTA LCS GTA IV GTA2 wasn't set anywhere in particular so was just referred to as Anywhere City. I'm one of the people hoping GTA V == Miami (a revamp of Vice City - similar to how GTA IV's LC was revamped)
  5. Yes most likely. That's a pretty decent machine you have there.
  6. GTA4Mods.com recently managed to score an interview with Coolie Ranx, best known among GTA fans for playing the part of Little Jacob in Grand Theft Auto IV. There's a number of good questions that were asked, and some interesting answers from Ranx. On how he got the part of Little Jacob: Read the rest of the Q&A over at GTA4Mods.com Thanks to Alan for the heads up.
  7. Requesting a permaban from the aftermath of a heated argument? Pathetic, not gonna give it to you I'm afraid. We don't hand out bans just for the sake of it, we ban people who deserve it. We're good people here. This has gone way off topic though so I'm going to close this. I don't think anything of any importance will ever be posted if left open.
  8. Hmm it's ok. If the rest of the album is supposed to be better than I'll get it just for the sake of it anyway. Never been a huge fan of Metallica but yeah, I'll listen.

    OMFG!

Ok well I think this topic has rapidly descended into a cess pit of fail. Closed.
  12. I've watched a bit of everything really. Needs more women's beach volleyball though I hope China top the medals table this year. I don't care for any other country than GBR but I'm just tired of seeing the USA top every damn time. Boring as hell. Good to see lots of world records broken so far, especially in swimming, I'd also like some underdogs win some medals though, that's always good.
  13. lol wut you have everything. And people still use ICQ wtf? :P

I'll add you on everything for the lulz. I'm on msn most though.

  14. Thanks. Yeah I'm not a huge fan but I do like them. Got a few of their songs on my playlist. I should really listen to their albums all the way through and find out how much I actually like them. I'm sure there's a lot of songs that are great and I don't even know about yet.

  15. I think you're definitely going to need more RAM. At least another 512MB, but preferably an extra 1GB or more if you can afford it. Processor is fine, graphics should be alright too I suppose, at that res anyway.
  16. Yeah of course you can. I would also recommend Corsair for RAM but it's not necessary. Would all of you wondering whether or not your PC will run GTA IV well please now use this dedicated topic as it would be a lot more sensible to keep it all in one place. Thanks. You can continue normal discussion of the PC announcement here of course
  17. I've made this topic because we're getting a lot of people asking us whether or not they'll be able to run GTA IV on their PC, and if not, what should they get, etc. No official requirements have been released yet, but by looking at other recent games we (or rather chris82) has produced this spec list - I think it's probably about halfway between the minimum and recommended specs. Windows 2000/XP/Vista Intel Core2Duo E4600 / AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 1GB of RAM (Windows 2000/XP)/2GB of RAM (Windows Vista) nVidia 8xxx series/ATi 28xx/38xx series UPDATE: 30th October 2008 - Official specs now released, topic has been updated, see below for specs. Minimum System Requirements OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz Memory: 1.5GB, 16GB Free Hard Drive Space Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900 Recommended System Requirements OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz Memory: 2 GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista) 18 GB Free Hard Drive Space Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870 So if you're not sure you'll be able to run the game, just post your specs here and I or someone else who knows what they're talking about will answer you, and if necessary tell you what you should get in order to run the game well. You might also want to post your monitor resolution that you'll be planning on playing at.

  19. I heard from Rockstarrem that you offered him sexual favours.

  20. @joelzaar: He offers sexual favours to admins.

  21. I saw your comment on Spaz's profile, which is why I randomly sent you that link :P

    OMFG!

Most forums suck, including this one
  23. This is going off topic but you do realise you don't have to buy off itunes just to see album artwork. You can simply right click any song and "Get Album Artwork". Or if there is none just add it manually by dragging an image into the artwork space.
