There's some sort of Action Replay or Gameshark device that can do this sort of thing, I mean if you take a look at the PS2 pages on GameFAQs you'll see loads of PS2 saves people have uploaded... http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/save/914983.html Ah look there's SharkPort, X-Port, Codebreaker, and AR MAX saves there. I'm guessing you might need one of those devices to get a ps2 save on to your PC. Your PS2 probably won't recognise your USB device as it's only made to recognise PS2 specific things, such as the eyetoy. Plugging it in will do no harm though, or at least it shouldn't do.

Dmac is online 24/7 posting VCS news on vcspsp and then coming over here and posting it which gives him a genuine excuse for linkage, then I post it. Still, doesn't matter anyway, it's not a race to post news, and who the hell visits general GTA sites for VCS news, people either go to gtapsp or gtaportable I would imagine.

You know Gerard will be able to tell you what's good and stuff probably, head over to one of our his sites; MSForums.com and register there if you have PC questions and stuff. There's more expereinced PC pro's there so you may get better responses, or stay here and get info from us, which is good, but might not be as accurate I'd say it's a good processor though, what speed is it?

Official Playstation Magazine USA have a new one page preview of Vice City Stories in their latest issue. There's no new information in the article, however, there are two new screenshots for you to look at. LINK: Magazine Scan

It's not a glitch in FireFox, it's actually technically a bug in IE. The name effects (only viewable in IE) when used actually invalidate the code and would cause problems on special screens such as blind people using text readers for example. of course this wouldn't ever be the case on a website like this. But all non-IE browsers are standards compliant so they won't implement [useless] feature if it will make them non standard compliant. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about. But anyway, we might trial them or something. Some people can find them annoying.

German fansite GTAReactor are reporting that Play the Playstation, a German magazine, have published a preview about the demonstration they saw at the Leipzig Games Convention. The magazine explains a new "Empire Building" mode which will be in Vice City Stories. This sub plot will give Victor the role of forcibly conquering the criminal organisations and other gangs that own the buildings and businesses throughout Vice City (approximately 30 of them). After you have acquired these businesses, you can then invest your own cash in them and run them profitably, or at least try to. Think of it as a vastly improved safehouse buying feature we first saw in the original Vice City.

Why are you using such an old version? That's probably about 3 years old. Get the latest one - http://www.thegtaplace.com/pafiledb.php?ac...file&id=728 It should have a server list built in, if not, go to game-monitor.com, of course gamespot won't have a server list, they're games journalist, not a gta multiplayer site.

I've finished with the VCS style for now, I'll wait for some better screens to use.

Much like the GTAIV "preview" that appeared on Weebls Stuff we posted about 2 months ago, Something Awful have written an equally amusing 'preview' of the game. For those of you who haven't been on the Internet before, Something Awful is a comedy website with articles consisting of irreverent rants, usually with a satirical tone to them. Their GTA4 preview is no different, so have a sense of humour and laugh along. Some people complained about Weebls Stuff for posting inaccurate information, completely missing the point... (press Ctrl+F5 to make sure you see updated css and images) I want it to be dark as we know nothing about the game, so it gives the section of the site a sense of mystery. At the moment the logo is completely blank, I thought about putting silhouettes of random characters in it, however, I thought one site already did that, but if I don't find it then I will add this in. I just don't want to be labelled a copycat. What about using the site though and browsing the old gta4 pages which need updating, does it look all right? Any changes you recommend?

Scrubs is great, not as good as Green Wing, a British medical comedy. Americans would hate it though because they simply cannot comprehend British humour, which is good in a way. Never heard of 'House', it's kinda poorly named, what does the title have to do with the content? Perhaps it's unusual in that the people live in houses or something... [/sarcasm]

We did trial this once, but it didn't prove to be that popular. Depends how many people want it though, if many post here agreeing then sure we'll make one.

Perhaps you are changing settings that are incompatible with your computer. One thing that it doesn't like is if either you set a resolution which your monitor isn't supposed to be displaying (using a widescreen res on a normal monitor). Or if you choose a resolution higher than your monitor / graphics card is able to display, such as 2048x5036, you'd need a decent gfx card and huge monitor to use that.
