IGN have put up a new article with the title of "The Reinvention of Water Physics in Vice City Stories". As you might well have guessed from the self-explanitory title, the article focuses on the brand new water physics engine. 1UP have posted two previews of Vice City Stories and some new screenshots. Gamespy have also uploaded some new screenshots. One screenshot appears to show a brand new (and fairly detailed) plane, presumably the planes we're beginning to see in screenshots will all be flyable. Click the links below to check them out. Guys, people make these boxes EVERY year for GTA games, it's just the logo on either a black or white background. You never seen them before? And also crediting Wikipedia? Anyone can edit that, it's not fact. Someones just gone and made that in Photoshop and uploaded it there to make themselves look good.

Contrary to Jace's beliefs, I'd advise you to change it from the default. Many defaults are set to a way too low resolution (800x600). You should be using at LEAST 1024x768, however try to use 1280x1024 if your monitor and graphics card supports it. Right click on your desktop and click Properties, click on the Settings tab, you can then drag the slider to your desired resolution. However, I'm not sure you can change it for just your account. I think it's for the whole PC. Gerard or Righty might know though.

IGN have posted their hands-on preview of Vice City Stories. Not much new information is given, however, we are reassured that loading times are "fantastic" on changing between the two main islands, with "barely time to take your eyes off the screen." The preview also describes three mission which IGN got to play, these are in the later stages of the game and sound more difficult than the earlier ones which is what is expected anyway. There's also some new screenshots and artwork in with the article. Other sites posting previews include Eurogamer and Gamesradar. Nobody said PS3 wouldn't have downloadable content, we just haven't been told what it is yet - what we do know is that it won't be the same as what Microsoft will be offering.

Yeah that's all you have to do, delete the gta_sa.set. Never reinstall if this is happening as it's a waste of time, only reinstall if deleting gta_sa.set doesn't fix your problem.

We're thinking of merging the stunting forums for GTA3, VC and SA into the main stunting forum. Since there's only a small stunting community here anyway, it makes sense to keep all the topics in one place, rather than split them all into sub forums. Anyone against this idea please state your reasons why, otherwise we'll probably merge them tomorrow or soon after.

I don't understand why people can't use a controller, it's easier to handle the vehicles, a lot of stunters use their PS2 controller with a PS2 to USB thingy.

You've inadvertently changed the way you view topics. Presumably you're viewing this topic, so on the top right click on Options, then in the drop down click on Switch to: Standard

I completely disagree, the US gets much better offers/competitions for GTA themed stuff. All other countries in the world get nothing, so companies like GAME manufacture these things themselves and offer them with the game, just to have 1 more USP than rival companies. Obviously you haven't been in the GTA web community long enough to remember the competitions by Rockstar themselves for GTA stuff. Starting with GTA3 skin contest, then Vice City, and those kick ass neon signs, San Andreas, with the BMX and apparel, LCS with the themed PSP. They'll probably do something similar with VCS as well.
