I know. Evidently you were also in on it considering YOU were the one who added me to the conversation with yourself, Mike Gilb, and Skullraider. They said they were gonna hack me though. DoS'ing is not hacking. The clue is in the abbreviation. Denial of Service. Also if anyone would look at the user activity page you can see it was only down about 100 users than normal, so really you didn't affect many people. I've installed some DoS protection on the server now. Perhaps we should redirect these requests to nimp.org eh? (link is to wikipedia) The plan to bring this site down is absurd, even moreso for the fact you have no reason to. Also the fact that you must remember this isn't my server, it's Ron Holme's, the webmaster of soccergaming.com, he has a team of professionals working on it to keep it up most of the time. It's also funny how even if you were to bring the site down, it's only for a few minutes. Nothing whatsoever is achieved, waste of life really. Which is a shame, but never mind, probably get cancer from sitting at the computer 24/7 anyway.

Here's the updated GTA3 Vehicles page and this is the Borgnine taxi. When you replace the Borgnine, I think the mod tells you to edit the handling.cfg file and default.ide file doesn't it? If it does and I'm thinking about the same mod you are then it makes the Borgnine spawn as a regular car, so no, you probably won't have to do all the taxi missions.

The Borgnine Taxi....It's the cool red taxi which you get after completing 100 taxi missions. It is near your Portland hideout. In the Harwood area if I remember correctly, where all the Diablo's are. That actually reminds me, I don't have a picture of it on my GTA3 vehicles page. I'll go and get one now.

How is life? Ok. Got my AS results (which could've been better) and about to start final year of college (sixth form). Yesterday I went round Staffs Uni with Gerard (yes, that Gerard) which was fun. It's pretty small, but it's not that far away at all, it's definitely my first choice uni. Now all I need to do is write a decent personal statement and improve my grades a bit to get in.

Unlike some other fansite webmasters, I have places to go, people to see. Besides we got other news hours before anyone else last week. It's pretty much whoevers online at the time.

Two magazines in Europe have received a preview of Vice City Stories recently. The first being GamesMaster. No new screens appear in the mag but we can surmise the following information from it: The game's radio stations will contain "hundreds of top tunes" "A lot of new vehicles, including all sorts of aircraft" are to be included, on the whole, a "mixture of old and new" The transition from land to water to air travel will be easy The vehicles in the game will be a "mixture of old and new" The plot will feature both new and old characters, most of which will be new, though Secondly, Official PlayStation 2 Magazine France have also received a preview. As my ability to read French isn't too strong, I can't clarify that the following information is 100% accurate (online translators aren't good). If you speak French fluently please let me know via PM or E-Mail if you can clarify the info. As the storyline revolves around the two Vance brothers, humourous situations are said to be plentiful The magazine saw fairly empty streets but Rockstar promised that they will be twice as full with pedestrians and vehicles when the game ships. Rockstar supposedly has a big surprise planned for the WiFi Multiplayer mode. There's no hint of what this might be though. Other sites have supposedly used online translators for this mag but I don't really trust them. Just so happens I have the webmaster of GTAFrance.com on my MSN contacts, and also one of the editors from a French magazine whose name I can't remember. Webmaster of GTAFrance doesn't speak English very well, I can't speak French well enough to have an articulate conversation (my French is too basic), so guy from the mag has to translate what we are saying. It's humourous but annoying. Plus both of them are offline at the moment.

The guy in the suit is supposedly Diego Mendez, as the original filename has DIEGO in it...

You may recall in yesterday's news post that CVG took down their screenshots of Vice City Stories. We've now managed to get hold of the screenshots, as well as a couple of old artworks, now in excellent quality. None of the screens are new, but they're much nicer to look at than the poor scans people are making. Links: GTA: VCS Screenshots, Artwork

No idea when quizzes will work. Anyway this is just to say that both the health and armor items can now be used. Everyone defaults to 100HP of health and armor each, but can be increased to 200HP each. (I know you still get fatal errors on buying the item but the store is not my mod and I'm not responsible for that, besides, the item still gets added to your inventory)

Dmac_91 has posted on our forums that CVG have some high quality screens up on their site. Unfortunately there aren't any new shots, and the screens all have huge watermarks over them. They've come from a disc that was handed out to the press in Rockstar's meeting rooms at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. This of course means that other press members will have the screens, so we'll add them to our gallery as soon as we get our hands on unwatermarked versions. Yeah I also liked safehouses in VC. Also, I've 4 copies of VC Yeah original PS2 got scratched like hell so I bought another copy, and also I lost my original PC one (the play disc) so rather than be illegal I tohught I'd support R* and buy another copy of that too I hope they bring back the Malibu, that place rocked.

That would be a lot of work actually. To be honest it would be easier if we just had actual porperties from GTA games, and do what I said previously. And yeah I probably would ask Spaz to do it if you weren't here K_P
