woo this is awesome.

Lol I was talking more about the back than the screen It's massive. Sticks out like 1.5 feet.
-
If I could afford it, I'd get a projector to use my computer on.
-
Stop complaining and play the fucking game.
-
I can't get any higher, my monitor is only a 15 inch I could play it on my big white fatass 17 inch Cathode-ray tube monitor(at 1024x900 somthing) or my small 15 inch

good luck with your video. -
Yo, When GTAIV comes out, this will be my setup: Windows XP Home 32bit SP2 3GB RAM AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz ->Video Card<- EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB PCI-Express x16 1024x768 But since my current PSU is only a 305W, I'll also be getting this: >PSU< (I'd like to knock of 15 bucks for a 500W PSU if anyone has a suggestion, but only if its just as good or better as this Antec one.) Open to suggestions on PSUs, though.

Sorry about that, I tend to post before thinking(Or reading) a lot of the time. Wont happen again, cap'n.

Hideous? What're you into? White boxy keyboards? OH BABY!!!
-
I have to agree. I think the screen would be a waste. I cant agree on the G11 though. It's fucking useless, the G keys are shit. If you want a good keyboard with similar features as the G keyboards(without the barely programmable waste-of-space G keys): http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboard...71&cl=us,en Thats a good keyboard if you can get used to the wave. Trust me, you wont use the G keys for binding, or atleast in games you wont.

On newegg it says it comes with a heatsink and fan, is that not enough to keep the device cool? I found some artic stuff on newegg for 11 bucks (plus 3 day shipping) so I spose i'll get that aswell if it is needed. Thanks Chris, you've been very helpful with this crap.

I'm just the opposite, I think the SA tank was the worst :-D Police car, easy to obtain, fast, good handling, drifts, and gives you a shotgun.

Hey guys, so should I order the AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (this thingie-majig: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819103211 ) or not? I've only got til the 31st before newegg stops selling it. All you tech dudes, answer me a couple questions, eh? 1. Will this thing fit into my motherboard (Refer to these, I think they'll tell you judging by my current one: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/B...ono666/CPUZ.jpg , http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/B...t=processor.png ) 2. Will I see any better performance in games such as: COD4, TF2, and Half Life 2 (and the episodes) (Also: not planning on getting uber results, hopefully those will come with a new GPU!) Now! Important: My front side bus kinda standard and is an AMD Hammer, with a "real clock" of 200 MHz, and an "effective clock" of 200MHz, and a "Hyper Transport Clock" of 1000 MHz. I know this will effect the speed of my processor, but by much? I am going to get a CPU before a GPU, because if I get a new GPU I'll have to get a new PSU aswell, that'll be around 250 bucks together, so I'm in the market for a CPU that is not mega expensive and doesn't suck big horse dongs. Thanks!

Meh, it was kinda annoying. Nice try though, keep going and you guys will eventually get better tsohmas- No reason to be that way. I don't see YOU doing anything creative.
-
I've HAD it on my laptop, it's fucking awful. But this isn't a vista fight, sorry I even brought it up. Is DX10 only supported on vista, and Crysis requires DX10?
-
You cant compare Crysis to everything, it requires vista, and if you ask me, vista was a big flop. I don't even capitalize it when I type it anymore.
-
I hope we never see SA again.
-
Yes, if you use enough cheats up to where the ammo is above 10,000, the remote detonator sticks. You need to kill yourself or restart the game.
-
Graphics card will have to be a birthday present or something unless I get a job, because with a new card comes a new PSU, my current is only 350W.

So anything socket Am2 will fit into my processor slot? Sorry to repeatedly post, I'm pretty much a nub in hardware. EDIT: I'm also looking for GTA4 to run well, it doesn't have to be maxed out, but I'd like it to run well with few FPS problems. EDIT2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819103211 ?
-
I have socket AM2, but newegg doesn't sell CPUs that fit into 940 pin slots? Thats pretty suck. Onward to tigerdirect! EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....amp;x=0&y=0 >_> they sell some, most are just out of my price range.
-
I don't know what socket type my current one is and everest doesn't seem to tell. I know it has a 940 pincount though, thats something. I dont even know what the highest my mobo allows.

So chris82, you seem to know what you're talking about. Today my RAM came ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820145098 ) I now have: Windows XP 32bit home edition ATI Radeon X1300/X1500 Series Pro 3GB RAM AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 2.0GHz processor and I run at 1024 x 768 I'm in the market for a processor that isn't cheap ass... Well yeah I am looking for a cheapass processor that doesn't suck. I don't know what to look for - Could ya help me out? ( http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/B...6/processor.png ) <-- current processor. However, if this current rig will work fine for GTA4, I'm fine. It plays well in TF2 now that the RAM is upgraded.

Nice, reading Edit// Done. Sam Houser seems like a neat dude.

I use an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro, works fantasticly for games such as HL2: Ep2. I get framerate issues when all settings are maxed out(but everything looks quite pretty.), herein lies the problem with not enough RAM and my slightly-below-average AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor.
