You SHOULD buy the original game. If you don't Rockstar will lose money to some other guy who copies the game (and didn't MAKE the game), and probably make Rockstar bankrupt. Respect the games, repect the creators.

I think maybe because GTA3 was the first GTA game which is rendered full 3D. And the developers just want to credit the .img file to the GTA3 game.

After that, play GTA3, save a game, and then load. If you haven't upgraded to version 1.1, then it would most likely to crash during the load. This MAY have something to do with your problem. UPGRADE to version 1.1 (just download from gamespot or this site). means: save the game, and then try to load the game. Mostlikely that it will crash, unless you have installed the 1.1 patch (find one in this site or Gamespot's site).

Maybe, you shouldn't kill the chef with firearms. Your supposed to take him out with your bare hands (or a melee weapon). What I did, I rammed him head-on with my Banshee, and finished the job with only 0.5255 seconds.

Of course a PC can handle it. My friend has got a Intel Core Duo 4.0 ghz if (I remembered right), Nvidia GeForce 7950 256.0 MB 16x PCI, 4 GB of RAM, 2 HDDs (each about 90 GBs). And he installed a game (Half-Life 2: Episode One) while playing Chronicles of Riddick on everything high (full screen anti-aliasing maxed, anisotropic filtering maxed, all textures maxed, resolution was like 1280x1024 or something) but he did not experience any lags. He averaged on like 50.0 FPS while installing, and about 70.0 FPS when not installing. I think the next generation of VGAs and processors will handle GTA4 juuuuust fine! Dang. I just broke up with my girlfriend. I don't know why. She still loves me, and I still love her. But we had a couple of fights (not physically) this month. And her mom saw her crying (I didn't make her cry, she cried because she realized that she did not care so much for me, even though she wanted to), and then her mom did not like to see her cry again. So now we have to split. I still love her. And she still loves me. I don't know whether she wants to go back with me, or she cant go back with me. We had so much good memories in the past 2 months (we became together on 21 April 2006). I am really sorry for making her feel bad by telling her how she badly treated me. I guess the only thing I can do is to speak to her mom, and promise to change dramatically. We had so much things in common, me and her. We loved the same donuts, the same songs (even this oldie song 'Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head', which I asume only several of you lads ever heard of), and many more things that I think it's better not to talk about. My life had seemed dull since 12 July 2006 (the day we broke up). I don't know whether she feels the same way. Maybe she does, since I know that she loved me so much. I guess the only thing that could cheer me up is a GTASA game. BUUUUT, it has been fu*king banned out of my home. Darned... I'd give anything to become one with her again.

Well, okay. I meant 'not active on this thread'. Anyhoos: try to remove any mods you have installed. If you haven't installed any mods, uninstall the game, and then restart your computer. ANd THEN you can re-install the game. THAT, gentlemen, saves your HDD space.

Just time it right, timing is everything. If you're PC version is experiencing lags on the missions, then your mission has jut got tougher.

^ Nope, you're wrong. In PC vwersion, the graphics are always better than the console version, and the resolution are also better. If you don't believe me, play NFS:MW on the PS2 version, and compare it with the PC version. Or, play Doom III on the XBox version, and compare it with the PC version. Plus: you can mod your game on the PC!
