Ok so in IE6, the top part of the database shows up (Newest downloads, Most popular tables, etrc...) But then there is a large bank space and at the bottom of the site there is the 'Category' table. Perhaps it's because IE doesn't want there to be a large blank space beneath the downloads tables.

Windows, you need to be more specific-some Intel processors are good but most are shit. Anything with Pentium, Celeron, or Centrino in its name = shit. Anything with Core2 in its name is awesome. On the other hand, every AMD processor is awesome for its price. AMD Athlon 4000+ (2.4GHz) here, runs really cool at about 30 Celsius idle, about 45 on load.

Uh, no. People are still trying to figure out how to get it onto XP. They have already been able to do a certain part of it, but not full DX10 yet. But the .dlls are still compatible with XP, when we actually get DirectX 10 games being released, wait and see. I guarantee that by GTA4's PC release DirectX will work fully with XP. And DXDIAG won't report you running DX10 because Windows XP doesn't officially support it.

Chris (the other one) also has an ATi card. I had an nVidia in my last PC and I hated it, always showing weird colors and artifacts even though it wasn't overheating and the drivers were up to date. Want to know why ATi is awesome? All rendered in real time on my card with anti-aliasing, depth of field, etc...

If you're going to be playing GTA4 you're gonna want to have a nice PC. If you have the money, I suggest an Intel E6600 or better and an nVidia 8-series card plus 2GB of RAM and Windows XP. That's if you're going to build/buy it right now. But IMO you're better off waiting until we get the GTA4 system requirements. And even still, you'll want Windows XP. Yes, there is a way to have DirectX 10 on XP.

ATi hasn't released their GDDR4 cards yet, dood. And no difference between GDDR3 and GDDR4? Try double the memory bandwidth. FX5500 That's $64. That's $58. And it's a much better card. (Not 'good' by my standards, but a hell of a lot better than that FX5500.
