  1. My guess is, for that twin pistols perk, it might be an unlockable killstreak bonus in multiplayer. More videos will be released for the killstreaks, and maybe some perk videos as well. Could even be a perk, who knows? BTW, 2 new gameplay videos have leaked, but you'd better watch them quick because they were filmed by a handheld camera, so they could be taken down at any moment. One is a single-player video, the other is a clip from Spec Ops mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FuwFT4p5hA&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.computerandvideogames.com%2Farticle.php%3Fid%3D222213&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWhx77Jk7p0&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.computerandvideogames.com%2Farticle.php%3Fid%3D222213&feature=player_embedded
  2. Weirdly, I was signed in from about 3:30PM or so, through to about 6PM and didn't get signed out once. I actually signed out myself twice, to refresh the connection, and back in again. So, maybe it doesn't affect everyone. Anyway, everything should* be back to normal in about 20 minutes, for everyone. * I say should, nothing's ever simple with Sony.
  3. A heads-up for everyone here - the PSN will be down for maintenance for 5 hours today. Here's a quote yesterday from Sony: So, get on with earning Trophies, or sitting in front of the sofa, or watching a couple of Godfather films. Here's a link - http://forums.gametrailers.com/thread/psn-down-for-maintenance-today/902506
  4. I searched for this topic, but didn't find one. If there is a topic like this, then post a link to it because I couldn't find one. Anyway, to get the ball rolling, I'm going to start all my posts with songs from The Wire, but only the best ones.
  5. I can't believe it. I've finally managed to get hold of the original American Psycho Score, by John Cale, one of the rarest soundtracks of all time. I don't think it was ever licenced for sale, but some kind soul uploaded it on a file-sharing site, and now I have it. It's superb, but it's only just over half an hour long. It's great listening. Right now, I'm listening to the final song, 'The End'. All the song names begin with the, apart from one. EG, the hooker, the coathanger, the mens room, etc. If someone wants this ultra-rare soundtrack, then send me a personal message.
  6. LittlBigPlanet, which I bought a few days ago. I've finished the main story mode, got quite a lot of goodies and made a crap level for a trophy. I want to go online, but obviously there's about 10 updates which need to be DLed first.
  7. Well? What do you make of the Premier League results so far this year? There have already been a few big shocks - Burnley beating Manchester United, Arsenal thrashing Everton 6-1 and having a good start to the season, Tottenham starting well with Defoe in great goalscoring form, etc. You can see todays PL results below: Check out more results here -> http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/
  8. There was some info leaked about the Special Ops mode at the GC - GamesCom, on Friday. There's no images or video in the article, but it might be worth a read. The link's here -> http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=221651 and the quoted article is below:
  9. Regardless of whether he's ill, or not ill, jail is the only option for someone like him. It's quite ridiculous that terrorists are now getting less and less jail time, because of human rights. All the governments in the UK are weak and pathetic, and have no idea of what the real problems are. They're the ones who would quite happily blow up a skyscraper to get to a wanted man, that's the arse-about-face technique they use for pretty much everything.
  10. Pretty much everything on the list there. When I'm not at Uni, or I'm on my holidays, I visit forums, check the football news, games news, etc.
  11. "Excuse me madam, do you know where I can find the nearest portaloo cabin? Oh, OK. Nevermind, thanks anyway." *Runs off*
  12. I like the update, looks really nice. Will take a while to get orientated, but it's so much better than all the skins that have gone before it.
  13. My ISP is still Tiscali. These days, I'm usually getting 3.6 MBps from it, so it's not bad. I do have days when the connection stays completely error-free, which is great. Yesterday, it was on for 3 hours while I was working, and it was fast the whole time. My upload is still low, about half a meg. It's down to the area I live in. If I lived by the sea, I'd have fibre-optic definitely.
  14. I pre-ordered mine about 20 minutes ago, the standard version, for £35 from Tesco on PS3 -> http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-2995.aspx. So. come release date, a nice package will be slipping through the letterbox. I'm glad I got it for £35, you can absolutely forget paying £45 or £50 for it, no game on Earth is worth that.
  15. Ricky Gervais, a worldwide superstar now. And it was funny, but sometimes its humour was lost on people. Many thought it was a real documentary at first, which is exactly what they wanted to do. His observations are just absolutely brilliant.
  16. 17. Or, have a box of tissues in your room, and use one when pressing the buttons. I might be persuaded to get one, but I'd have to sell my 40GB PS3, as well as old games I don't play and maybe a DualShock as well, with a sort of busted L1 button. I could do with the extra space.
  18. I'm a rebel too. I stole a library book from my secondary school back in about 2001 or 2002, it was a Goosebumps book I think, or a Natural History one, can't remember. It's way in the back of one of the cupboards though.
  19. I have to re-read through my whole post each time before posting, because of spelling mistakes as well. It should at least undelrine the error. But anyway, back to the Slim. Is it really an improvement from the original design? It looks absolutely dreadful. It's like a crap, Fisher Price model made by a 5 year old. The lettering isn't even in a different colour, it's all bland-black.
  20. I quite like the original design. I have a 40GB, and it looks OK. I don't like the fact my silver strip isn't real, but who cares. It's big and bulky, but it needed a chance after the PS1 and PS2, otherwise they'd all look the same, which would be silly. Still, they did it with the Dualshock. As for the PS2 games, a few did, on the early versions of the 60GB, which is now quite hard to track down. I haven't checked, but they could be upwards of £350 on Ebay, just because of BC. And the spelling thing was aimed at your topic title.
  21. I heard that PS2 games will be released on the PSN to download, so probably not backwards compatibility, but more than likely PS2 games to buy. It's not really a replacement, and it's not as if the whole catalogue will go online either. But, a 120GB hard-drive, and it uses less electricity as well, saving you money. I might yet trade my 40GB in and buy this, and transfer all my saves and data on the new hard-drive. BTW, I think it looks shit. I did when it first leaked, and still do now. Nice to have the option, though. Nice spellyng, Spaz.
  22. I always hated Cricket, I could never hit the ball. However, the fielding part of it I liked, because I could run after the ball. Running - short distance, 200M and 400M, Football, Tennis, even though I suck at it, Basketball, and maybe Rugby, I like. I always did every PE lesson when possible, simply because I could mess around with my mates, and just have a great game of whatever it was we were doing. I have a couple of football medals and trophies from when I was in the Brentford Juniors. A proud moment was having our photo taken with the Brentford first team, that was cool. A long time ago now, I barely remember it. I also have a hockey medal, from when I was on holiday at Potters Leusire Resort in England. I just decided to join in the game, along with my cousin and a few of his mates, and won the medal after a couple of games. The guy who gave it to me, Buzzby, has been on TV a few times. They also have a Youtube account - http://www.youtube.com/user/PottersLeisureResort
  23. Did you notice the 2 year old topic, or not? I can't tell from Llamas response. He said, congrats Husky for noticing. Probably being sarcastic.

  24. He always creates such great pieces, I'm definitely a fan. The sheer amount of time it must take, for EVERY image he makes, is mind-boggling. I'ma see if I can get his PSN name, and send him a request.
