I tried this again, and I still think this test is a piece of shit. My internet speed is 3.4 Mbps, and this is the test result I got: I'm looking to get fibre-optic broadband in the next few years, hopefully. America get around 60 Mbps, and the UK only gets around 20 Mbps though, which sucks. It should improve over time.

^ I think Ray Romero as well, from Everybody Loves Raymond. That's the obvious comparison. At times, he sounds like Roman Bellic as well, sometime during the 2nd level. ^ Not that quote, it's another quote. That one just mad me laugh. BTW, you guys should watch the 'asshole mario' series of vids as well, no commentary but the levels are about twice as hard as the one above. A few of them are below:

^ McCain is 72, I think. IMO he's too old for the job. BTW, I voted for Obama, because I think he's the best choice. I don't really want Hilary in charge, I don't think she'll be good enough. Plus, Americas already had 1 Clinton as president, they don't need another one. EDIT: Yeah, he's 72.

^ Shame the COD4 one player is so pitifully short, I can get through it in around 2 hours. Online is a joy however, if you can ignore all the idiots babbling over their mics. And Uncharted is difficult if you play it on a high setting, it'll last a month or 2. Alright, so I'm gonna play COD4 and then GTA4 for a while, if anyone's interested.

Will probably play some more COD4 in about 20 mins when I'm done here, and maybe a little bit of GTA4 online before I switch off.

It won't happen, quite simple, really. The Internet makes billions and billions of dollars, pounds, whatever your currency is, and restricting every single site will be a hugely pointless idea. It works, it makes money, and everyone uses it. There will be a massive backlash if they even consider proposing this idea, and I for one won't pay a fucking dime if this comes into effect. The subject of human rights will come up, and all the ISPs will back down. Records will probably be set for the amount of people who will sue these companies, even the ISP buildings could be in danger by people trying to blow them up. All types of crazy shit could happen. A very, very, bad, stupid, worthless, pointless idea this is.

Or A.C Milan, not sure Ronaldinho was expecting to play in the UEFA Cup.

I'm gonna go on COD4 online in a few minutes, and then I'll probably download the demos I haven't played yet from the PS Store, quite a few of them actually, PS3 and PSP games.

^ I recommend you get Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, it's a superb 1 player game and the graphics are amazing. COD4, unless you already have it, MGS4, if you're an MGS fan, Motorstorm, a fun off-road racing game and it's dirt cheap now (no pun intended), and maybe Ratchet & Clank. COD4 and Uncharted are must buys, IMO. I'm now level 25 or 26 on COD4, I'm really rising up now. I hope to be level 55 by the time I go back to Uni, around mid September. BTW there's still quite a few friend requests I sent out that haven't been accepted yet, what's taking so long? Hurry up and add me so I can beat you.

@ Thomas, I don't think a British team will get to the final this time, I think the Semis will be the limit. @ GTA Don, Shakhtar have been in the CL quite a few times, they're not exactly a team you remember, though. If Chelsea get a new striker, like Robinho judging by the recent reports, then they'll have a good chance. However, if Man U sign a new striker, Berbatov or whoever, they'll be the favourites again, I should think, or joint favourites.

Group A: CHELSEA, AS Roma, Bordeaux, Cluj Group B: Inter, Werder, Panathinaikos, Anorthosis Group C: Barcelona, Sporting, FC Basel, Shakhtar Group D: LIVERPOOL, PSV, Marseille, Atletico Group E: MAN UTD, Villarreal, CELTIC, Aalborg Group F: Lyon, Bayern, Steaua, Fiorentina Group G: ARSENAL, FC Porto, Fenerbahce, Dinamo Kiev Group H: Real Madrid, Juventus, Zenit, Bate Chelsea have a fairly straightforward group, Roma will be a challenge though. Liverpool have a difficult group, and their recent performances have been crap, so they'll struggle. Man Utd have a good group, Villarreal will be a challenge but Celtic should be easy, and I've never heard of Aalborg, and Arsenal have an easy group, Porto the only real test. I don't think Man Utd will regain the CL, no clubs done it before, I think they'll reach the Semis and exit. I think a foreign team will win it this time, Inter Milan are my choice. I know other people have said the same thing, but try popping all your saves onto either a memory stick or external hard drive, then putting them on the other PS3. When I had to wipe my hard drive to free up space - haven't upgraded it from the paltry 40 Gigs yet, it was so easy to get them all back onto the HD, although that only involved 1 PS3, not sure if it's different with 2 or more. @ Llama, Jesus Christ, that keyboard is hideous. If it's functional though, I might get one... EDIT: BTW, all of you who've posted your PSN IDs, I'll be sending out friend requests imminently, make sure to either accept it or add me as a friend, please.

The last 3 days, I've been dicking around online. I'm around rank 14 or 15 now on COD4, I'm also playing FIFA 08 and GTA4 - when it works. I haven't got into a GTA4 game yet, mainly because I'm impatient. I will, soon, but I don't want to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get in a fucking game.

^ Just signed up. I did have an ethernet cable, then lost it, then found it again yesterday after an almighty clearout, so it's only now I'm experiencing online gaming. It's the sort of thing I always do, misplace things.

I use CS3, but there's far too much to it, it'll take ages to just learn the basics. I love it though. I did have Photoshop Elements 4.0, but it's really basic and I didn't even use it that much.

Motorstorm and Uncharted for PS3 have just been added to the new Platinum range, both are worth checking out, especially Uncharted in terms of a 1 player game. Does this topic reflect current gen games, or the generation before?

Don't worry, I've worked out how to do it from a guy on another forum, great advice and it worked, so I'm delighted! This will be the first time I've gone online on any console from my house. I was online once at a friends house about 4 years ago on Killzone, so this'll just blow me away. I'm currently downloading a firmware update - 2.42, not the dreaded 2.41 version.

I posted a similar topic to this on another forum, so I'll copy and paste it here so you can see what problem I have: The problem is to do with obtaining an I.P address, it times out each time it tries to get an I.P address. If anyone knows something that'll help, I'd appreciate it. I'm sure I haven't missed anything out, all the PS3 settings are set to automatic, or default.

I haven't seen it yet, but apparently it's throwaway rubbish. Also, it looks far too CGI heavy for me, I can't get into that. The first 2 were great films, fun to watch, but this one looks average.

I got back from Prague yesterday, a nice 5 day trip, mainly sightseeing. I don't like holidays by the side of the pool any more, it's just too boring. It was unbelievably hot each day, around 28 degrees, and at night it wasn't any better, around 20 degrees, with the exception of the 2nd night, but I adapted to it. There was also probably the best restaurant I've ever been to - Ambiente. I think it's a chain of restaurants, this one was a Pasta one. From outside it looked small and cramped, but we decided to give it a go. After being led through what seemed like a maze of corridors, we eventually reached our seats. I had a Tagliatelle dish, which tasted amazing, best dish ever, and the following night I had a Ravioli dish, which was amazing again, and then a desert after that, which was exactly the same. Quite incredible food. I felt like going in the kitchen and giving all the chefs high-fives. I saw Dennis Wise at the airport lounge at Heathrow, as well. I'm not a Chelsea fan, I support Man U, but it was still thrilling to see him. Me and my parents were allowed in that lounge, where everything's free - sandwiches, papers, wine, champagne, biscuits, cakes, etc, because there was a cock-up with the tickets. Not out fault, but the person who did the booking fucked it up. God knows how many other celebrities you would see if you stayed in there for a few hours, lots I should think.
