Alright, my MSN is this - [email protected] I don't use the MSN e-mail address, I had some sort of error with it ages ago.

Bold = new game I got today. When FIFA 09 comes out, I'll trade in FIFA 08 to get some cash to put towards it, along with my HMV gift card. I'm not even considering Pro Evo until I've played a demo of the new version. FIFA 09 plays excellently in the demo, miles better than last years version. EDIT: Got FIFA 09 now, added to the list. It's excellent, I'll post more another time. I'll be trading in FIFA 08 in a few days time, maybe the weekend, not sure. Only get £10 for it though from CEX.

Rumours about MGS5 are that you'll play as Liquid Snake, when he was in the S.A.S. It could be in the Gulf War, or another place altogether. That's what I heard or read somewhere, apologies that I can't find the link. I'm a huge MGS fan, so I don't mind either way, as long as it's good to play. EDIT: Found this on the MGS Wiki: It sounds plausible, certainly.

Just posted in the PS3 thread. The PS3 Platinum range is good quality, considering it's a launch line-up. Ratchet & Clank is a great game to get, I bought it today. Other games I saw for £20 in HMV include Dark Sector, which is really worth picking up. It's like a hybrid of Resi 4 and Gears of War, with the ability to literally cut your opponents into pieces with your Glaive, a sort of Batarang device. This is the Platinum range: * Assassin's Creed * The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition * FIFA 08 * Folklore * Formula One Championship Edition * Genji: Days of the Blade * Heavenly Sword * Lair * MotorStorm * Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction * Resistance: Fall of Man * Ridge Racer 7 * Uncharted: Drake's Fortune * Virtua Tennis 3 * WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2008 The ones that are bold I recommend to anyone with a PS3. Remember, on Amazon, pre-owned versions of those will be going for under £10, so bear that in mind. I made a snapshot decision to get it in the shop, but online is cheaper and the better choice.

Me and FallenClyro played COD4 the other day, might have been 2 days ago. I performed pretty good, usually I'm quite inconsistent - top after one match, mid table the next, then bottom for 2 or 3 games after that, then top again, etc. This time though, I finished 1st twice in the Ground War matches, with like 6 or more kills above 2nd place, which was great. Also, I bought R&C Future: Tools of Destruction today. I was going to get either Dark Sector or Ratchet, but seeing as Sector is quite short, and Ratchet has replay value, I got that instead. Haven't played it yet, been busy with other things. It was part of the Platinum range, £20 each. There were other games at £20 as well, not in the Platinum range - Dark Sector the main choice, the others were crappy games like Chronicles Of Narnia. After about an hour of R&C, I'll be online again. I'm enjoying it while it lasts, tomorrow I have a Returners Meeting at Uni, and then I go back properly on the 30th, 3 days a week.

Your chance to play against GTA IV developers on Xbox Live
The Bossman replied to Chris's topic in GTA IV News
I just read the e-mail I got from Rockstar, it sucks that PS3 owners can't play them. Then again, Sony probably wouldn't want to give away any prizes, because they're tight arses. *Sigh* Back to COD4 then. -
Slam - Pendulum. Bought it from iTunes, my 'original' version was way too loud. It was practically bursting out of the headphones at not even half volume, leading to broken headphones whilst walking down the street.

Like hell it is Well, you know what I mean. In England it'll be £15 for a 'special edition' CD, and in America it'll be $14 or so, much cheaper if you look at the exchange rate. We're basically paying twice as much for CDs than America is.

I got around a week until I go to a Learners Advice Session, to talk about the forthcoming year at Uni. I know I want to carry on with my current course, a BA HONS Photography course, so that's what I'll make clear. After that, it'll be another 5 days before I go back properly. I've been off now for nearly 4 months, so I'm more than ready to get back into things.

Sort of bringing this back up, but it's a decent issue. I used to do it a lot in the past, and still have most of them on my iPod, but recently I've started cutting down over the last 3 months, because of the ISP thing I mentioned a while back, and how you could get fined if you're found downloading illegally. Now I'm mainly going through all my music and creating playlists out of them for different moods, and it works quite well. Not quite the same as new music every day, but it's okay. I don't condone illegal downloading, but obscure songs not found on iTunes or Amazon are quite difficult to come by, as well as other sites. I guess the only examples I can think of is from videogames. Soundtracks for those aren't produced that often, with some exceptions, the Hitman games, GTA, Final Fantasy, etc. I still support artists and bands I like - Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Arcade Fire, Eminem, etc, and I'll continue to do so, but I won't stop DLing because I think Britain gets shafted on a lot of things, and I don't see why I should have to pay £10+ for 1 CD. In America it's $10 or less per CD.

My tag ( you can see it in my profile anyway) = the_bossman222. I'm on most days, along with COD4 and 1 or 2 other games. I'll scroll through this topic and send out some invites to all of you, hope you accept them.

People that Are Annoying and Talk without saying anything?
The Bossman replied to ryrydaflyguy's topic in Multiplayer
^ Doesn't mean they were asleep though. You do meet idiots most of the time, luckily (?) I don't have a mic so I can't hear them. COD is just as bad, but as gta player says, you can mute everyone if you want. In Free Mode, some guys throw petrol bombs where people spawn, so they instantly catch fire and die a few seconds later. I just can't see the point, other than to piss everyone off, and then you get people who frequently either try to kick someone out the game repeatedly, or keep recommending the next game over and over. -
Don't have one, but I might get a cheap one in the next few days. Plus, predictive text is a bastard. I'm deleting that asap. I've already marked out a few wireless ones that seem okay.

Well, I've grown rather fond of running around with a live grenade in my hand, especially at the top of Rotterdam Tower, in the hospital and around police officers. I can't seem to use a bazooka to get me to higher ground though, I can do it online but not 1 player.

Well done dude, this looks incredible! If I had the game, I'd definitely download this if you get around to finishing it, providing you don't have problems with it. Good work, again.
-
^ You can't. Listen, do what I did. Keep killing yourself. The money will be gone extremely quickly that way, then you don't have to care about it. I have about $158 left now, down from around $300,000 or more.
-
^ Don't worry about it. I've sent the same message to about 30 people now, so it's just a general message I sent out, saves me time having to type a new one each time with the bloody PS3 controller...

^ I saw TDK in the cinema, but the sound quality is really out of sync, seriously. Most of the speaking is inaudible, and when the music kicks in, with the beating drums and whatnot, it dominates the voices. It's not worth seeing it in the cinema. If you get it on Blu-Ray, turn it all the way up - they will have fixed the crappy sound balance by then. TDK is probably the one movie I'd bother to get on Blu-Ray rather than DVD, because it's so amazingly good. Almost forgot to say, The Dark Knight could well be re-released in January when the Oscars come rolling round again, if only for Heath Ledgers performance. They're talking about releasing it again, which is cool for those who haven't seen it. If they fix the sound, go see it.

Incredible trippy Guitar song
The Bossman replied to The Bossman's topic in Music, Film, TV & Sports
Sure, I just grabbed all these links from his profile: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AmJMVVsQjS4 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hMoZKl8AO9U http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=PZt6Bsdnzt8 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RzS5htsulJM http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HitckKjfMWk http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RjzqztGctSs http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5MzirbgsOLk http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pD1odkV3NZM http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QdeX52a1JZ4 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1TD8WeGA56g To think he gets all that music from 1, whatever it is. Wonderful. -
I read about this over 6 months ago on another forum I'm on - http://www.hitmanforum.com/forum/index.php...t=0&start=0. There really isn't anything to worry about, the worst thing that'll happen is that a few mini black holes appear, and even then, they won't be powerful enough to cause any kind of chaos. Apparently the mini black holes will just break down, in one way or another. It's all been built up to be the end of the world, but it's blown out of proportion.

Find it here. It's an amazing song, not sure if you guys have heard of Boards Of Canada, but it's easily as good as one of their songs, if not better. They do similar music to this, occasionally. BTW, here's the guys Youtube account. He's got other songs that I haven't listened to yet - http://uk.youtube.com/user/guitarriverlution

Going online again in the next 10 minutes, I'm about level 46 or 47 now on COD4. Providing my internet connection is decent until the end of September, when I go back to Uni, I should have reached level 55 and started again from level 1.

Neighbourhood #3 - Arcade Fire. An excellent song, was played at a bar I was at last night, pretty cool song. Also - No Cars Go - Arcade Fire, another excellent song.

I'd like to meet all the people I have saved on my PSN Friends list. I've only played around 2 people here online, definitely Mpilik, but not sure about the other member, might have been Charger, might not have been.
