  1. Hey, you're not alone Husky. Strangely, that Lanza dude has sent me a friend request, and asked for a/s/l. No idea how he's managed to contact us, but he's now on my block list regardless.
  2. Happy new year to everyone! Let it be a good one.
  3. I'm level 42 now on COD4, on my 5th prestige. Coincidently, on Hardcore Team Deathmatch earlier today, I got 42 kills on the Downpour level, which was pretty good. I also got the Red Tiger camouflage on that same level for the M4. Hardcore Search & Destroy gets you so many points, it's unbelievable. If you get around 3 kills each round, and it lasts for 4 rounds, depending on what level you are, you could get promoted. It'll net you around 1300 points. Alright, the amount of points you get is the same as the non-Hardcore version, but Hardcore is more realistic and more fun to play. More often that not though, you're thrown into a match when you're 0-3 down to the opposition, and with the score limit being 4 points, it's pretty much hopeless. And yeah, the Home session with Mpilk and Ryan was alright, but you really need a keyboard for conversations, or even a mic. I was struggling re-arranging the furniture, blocking my route back into the house. It was fun. They really need to sort out the connection issues though, because it takes ages to log in.
  4. What about all the games you own first? Mention those, and if someone also has one of your games, you can just record yourself playing it.
  5. Sure, I've got a few: Burnout Paradise Fallout 3 Far Cry 2 Mercenaries 2 Uncharted I'd really recommend Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2, those let you approach the game any way you want. Burnout lets you roam the map, looking for races. Not sure if you have to unlock them as you go along, like previous games. Mercenaries 2 is quite open-ended, but the AI is awful and it gets repetitive quickly, and Uncharted is a great platform/shooter hybrid, well worth picking up from the Platinum range. As for NON free-roaming games, but still massive amounts of fun to play, look at these below: Bioshock Call of Duty 4 Call of Duty WAW Dead Space Devil May Cry 4 Infamous - coming 2009, well worth keeping an eye on Mirrors Edge Half Life The Orange Box Resident Evil 5 - out 2009 Ratchet & Clank
  6. This is definitely my most anticipated game now, ahead of everything else. When I picked up COD4, I didn't have a PSN account, and had never played online gaming before, and this was only back in around June this year. I only played it offline, and after a month it got boring, but now it's easily my most played online game. Everything about it feels so satisfying, it's hard to describe. I wish all FPS's were like COD4. I wouldn't say it's better than COD4, the multiplayer certainly isn't. For one thing, no-one cheats in COD4, apart from on PC, whereas in WAW you get people going under the map and killing you from there.
  7. You have some good points, and I agree with most of them, but the camera and car physics aren't problems, really. It just takes some getting used to. Most other GTA games have been the same in terms of the camera angle. 1. It depends on the type of car you're in. If you're in a Esperanto, of course the handling will be shit, but in a Sentinel, it's wonderful. 2. Isn't really a issue with me. I play on PS3 and am used to it. 3. Yeah, the game world is a bit small and boring, imo. 4. It might be brought back for number 5. 5. Especially on motorways - eg a cop swings out in front of you and you then earn a wanted level. You have to laugh at some of the AI, though. 6. I disagree, it's very easy to control. 7. I don't play PC games, but the camera does fail in tight corners. It needs to be worked on, sure.
  8. Great that it won best game, but I agree with the other users, the list itself is utter shit. Where's MGS4, or COD5, or LittleBigPlanet, or GOW2, or Fallout 3, or Bioshock? Amazing they included some games I've never heard of, they don't deserve anything at all.
  9. Yeah, did it with IE.

  10. Flicking through some Dark Knight extras, there's too many to watch briefly on the Blu-Ray. I'll be watching it tonight in the 'cinema room'.
  11. Hey, for some reason I can't add you to the friends list. I think I have a JavaScript problem, the pop-up box for accepting friend requests doesn't appear.

  12. ^ It's basically an add-on - new setting (WW2), very gory, semi-interesting characters, good weapons, and a short story again. The multiplayer is good, but not to COD4 standards, and there are more cheating bastards this time, mainly down to Treyarchs shoddy coding. I wouldn't say it's number 5, Infinity Ward will put that right next year.
  13. Another thing that irritates me - when the browser window closes and you can't open it again (unless you restart), and therefore you're forced to work with shitty IE. I also don't like it when the window closes for no reason, it never happened with IE for me - IE meaning Internet Explorer.
  14. Cheers, I used to have this ages ago and now I've switched back to it. :)

  15. I did a quick Google to look for the booklet images, but haven't found any. When I got the album from iTunes, I didn't get a digital booklet. Not sure if it was there to begin with, or whether I've misplaced the file. Apparently, there's a TON of mistakes in the booklet with the lyrics, either they're written wrong, or there are spelling mistakes. Still, liking the album, even though some of the songs suck hard.
  16. GTA4, I got the Liberty City Minute trophy last night, so now I'm looking to do everything else - random characters, car deliveries, all flying rats, stunt jumps, etc.
  17. Happy B-day. Looking forward to the new design, the current one is a little old now.
  18. The albums pretty good, I like about 9 tracks on there, my 2 favourites being Chinese Democracy and Street of Dreams - this one especially harks back to their old classic style, and is the best song on the album. I've listened to it a few times now, and it's great. Never really heard their old songs, apart from their most famous ones.
  19. Both COD4 and COD5, online, not at the same time, that'd be weird. I should also be getting Fallout 3 for Xmas.
  20. Some funny GTA4 glitches and gaffes, very popular videos, so you guys have probably seen them before: They're hilarious, I like the bit when the taxi sign hits the police officer in the head.
  21. How is GTA slowly getting worse? Some features were taken out of IV because the size of the city was too small for them to be included, 2 minutes flying in an aeroplane and you'll be from 1 side of the map to the other. If the next game has a bigger map, which should happen anyway IMO, it's pretty likely the crazy stuff from SA will return.
  22. its ok. im just really cut they went back to WW2. COD4 was a awesome game, then they go fuck it up by going to WW2. Sure it was the biggest war etc etc but...its gay. the game itself was pretty good, i just got the shits with it like i do with other cod games (read: other FPS's with missions) from just dieing and dieing...and dieing. gets old fast. In those sort of games im not much of a strategy type, im more of the rambo type. It works...sometimes. Not with COD:World At War , though. I'd say, it's worth picking up 2nd hand, or when it's cheap. I really like the game, but there are some things that annoy me, like constantly respawning next to enemies in multiplayer. Also, there's still a glitch in the game that was supposed to have been taken out - on the Roundhouse level, the other day a guy on my team was underneath the map, killing the people running above him. There's no way you could shoot back, because you'd just hit the ground. And you can run around like Rambo on WAW. When I do that, I use the MP40 with the Stopping Power perk and the extra ammunition gun add-on, and it cuts through the enemies quickly, especially on Hardcore mode. But expect to die when they get the Radar, they'l easily find you then.
  23. COD: WAW. It's really worth buying, it's great fun to play. I'm not playing it right this second, but I was earlier, and I will be for most of today.
