Now we all know it has been a few years since 2004, but all of us have that GTA game(s) we keep coming back to. I mostly find myself coming back to San Andreas because it's the most user-friendly but I've gone back to Vice City and III plenty of times. So what's yours?
-
What exactly are you asking for man, deals on getting GTA games? Or? I'd try to help you out but you're just a tad vague.
-
hahah, right on thomasianos. I can see how that'd be surprising. I've only played SA on console so I don't think I can do that.

I think the lack of liveliness here has to do with Grand Theft Auto not being what it was... ...and that is NEW. Nothing was like it and nothing could beat it for quite some time which brought in plenty of clientele to the site. In 2008 I was STILL blown away by GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas playing them every day. I'm not sure about everyone else but I don't play GTA much at all anymore(recently beginning to go through the III era and about to buy IV for PC so I can reissue my love for GTA) and I have the suspicion that many of you don't play GTA every day now either... hence we're not continually posting in the GTA sections like we used to whereas back in the day all of posted in the GTA sections. As for the poll: 1.) A new design: I think the layout is fine personally, but a new one may help. Can't say it would or wouldn't for sure. 2.) A reorganisation/restructure of the forum: COULD help, but really I think the site is good as is. 3.) New and more active staff: If they actually bring something to the table, then by all means. The only problem I see with a proposal asking for more staff is that it will make people become more active, but only to become staff. 4.) Merging with Grand Theft Wiki: I don't see what bad would come from that personally, but I also don't know the full details of what this would entail. 5.) Competitions & promotions: We didn't have competitions back in 2006 when we were super active, I don't think we need them now. Not sure what you mean by promotions though. 6.) Extra site features and new types of content: Again, I think the site is perfectly okay. 7.) Focus on the gang system again: I think this can help. In reference to the MTA server, it can be a problem to have all of us playing at the same time, but if people participate with getting the server up and running and play it then we're going to have more of us here on the forum. Some of us have busy lives though, which makes being active hard. I do hope we get active again. Been here for 4 years now and like Evo said, I'm not giving up.

If you want to talk about reviving the place, instead of bumping this topic, try here. Thanks.

Yeah, that's gonna happen. It says on your profile that you're 13, that was such a weird age for gifts for me... I got a Toy Story skateboard from someone. I don't skate, and I wasn't into Toy Story. rockstarrem speaks the truth. Stuff like that has happened to me a few times. Just always be sure to have good communication with your family on the matter of what you want, unless you want to be surprised(which can be equally nice, especially if they know you well).

Hey, hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. It's still the 24th for me. Most of the more expensive things I've been wanting I'm going to get on my own in the future so I'm not expecting anything super expensive but I'm definitely excited for some new running shoes and whatever else I'm getting. Plus I shopped for my parents and my good friends this year with my own money(thank you job), and that felt great to do that - can't wait to see everyone open their presents I got them. Again, hope everyone here at the forum has a great holiday, whichever one it may be.

Essentially, they could make it as innovative they want it to. There are some similarities, and some dissimilarities but frankly it's odd to sell practically the same game over and over and over. It's great from a business standpoint though.
-
Most people don't want every game to be an iteration of it's direct predecessor. Didn't think Black Ops would be revolutionary or innovative in the least though.

That'd actually be dope. I could easily see it, but for some reason I'd rather not be playing Niko in the next GTA. Not sure why I'm against him being in the next one, hell I haven't even played IV yet haha. I'm high too right now, cyber five man.

Good point. I'm not sure if we'd make it to where there are specific rules as to which questions would obviously be restricted and/or if there would be set perimeters per interview based on what the person(who's being interviewed) tells us what can't be asked.
-
So true -.- Don't have an XBOX, so not really sure what you guys are referring to. What exactly do you mean?
-
Yeah but this is a forum game, not an actual interview. I'm PRETTY sure it'll be an actual interview dude. By pretty, I mean 100%.

I am all in favor of figuring out ways to keep the community alive and active, and this could turn out into a cool thing, but I'm just not sure how high the demand for this idea really is. If it proves to be a wanted thing here, then I'm all off it. I'm not too sure how hard it'd be to go about doing that, but I'm certain it'd be a lot harder than getting members here to participate and get interviewed.
-
No harm no foul dude - happens to the best of us.
-
Haha I hear you there - usually when I watch scary movies at night I change to something really nice or some kid cartoon right afterwords hahahaha.
-
Cool trailers, but like starrem, I didn't find the first scary. I hear it's a different experience in theater though so I might have to test that out with this one.

You're implying that gays are being open about it in the military for positive rewards, but who are you to think that because frankly it's a little delusional to generalize something like that. Maybe they're just saying it for the sake of it, just like you and others would about a piece of ass thus showing your own sexuality. As for the negative aspect of being openly gay in the military, be aware that the negativity is a result of not the homosexual itself, but the others in the military.

Sounds dope beyond comprehension, and if not, at least really cool for a bit. I'll be sure to DL the demo tomorrow. Cool recommendation man, I'm stoked on this hha.

Been playing Delta Force Land Warrior for a couple hours the first time in a while. Definitely gonna have to learn how to snipe again.

I can (sort of) understand disagreeing with homosexuality, many people do, but making you want to cut your eyes out? That's harsh. What do you mean by an "openly gay performance"? Are you suggesting that everyone who is openly gay is like this? Because that's just not true. Even 99% of the people who you can TELL are gay aren't anything like that. What about "straight-acting" gays like me? Do I disgust you just by existing? Would you refuse to talk to me just because you know? Would you vomit on me if I did this with my partner in a monogamous long-term and very normal relationship? Let me clarify what I said, I missed a few things out. One specific example I can refer to is the X Factor, right, with the act called Diva Fever. Watching their performance was basically a hide behind the sofa moment, and I don't know why it provokes that reaction from me. For those who are in the US, let me describe what their act was. They came out in shiny pink and purple suits, with a few similar backing dancers. They then took their trousers off to reveal a tight fitting pair of shorts, multicoloured, and the backing dancers movements were suggestive too. It just made me uncomfortable, and I'm like that around every gay person. It's only the people who are openly gay who snog their partner in public when it annoys me, or when it's shown on TV. I just don't want to see it. I have nothing against you or any other gay person, it's just the flamboyant openly gay people that irritate and annoy me. Bold: You say you have nothing against any gay person, but right afterwards you explain that you're irritated and annoyed by flamboyant openly gay people. Unless you are also irritated and annoyed by campy straight people and open asexuals/bisexuals/heterosexuals/homosexuals/etc. you just sound a little homophobic or insecure or something seeing men acting different than your preconceived notions/society's labels of male's. As for the OP, yeah, I'm interested in your opinions on people being open about their sexuality(if it's not gay) like Gerard was getting at. You say you don't care if someone's a homosexual, but it seems blatant that you do. I kind of knew that you'd jump into the debate as well. It's just the flamboyant homosexuals who kiss in public that offend me, and not any other type of homosexuality. At no point did I SAY that ANY type of gay person OFFENDED me. I said only FLAMBOYANT GAY PEOPLE OFFEND ME. Never said you're offended by all types of gay people, just pointed out how you contradicted yourself saying that you're not offended by any gay person, but are offended by openly gay people. Not sure if it was only a typo on your part, or you just think for some odd reason that flamboyant open homosexuals aren't homosexuals.

Hm... not really sure if my parents just didn't have any other consoles to play but I was young already growing up and playing the PS1 and the continuing great list of games my parents and their friends played. The first actual console I bought was a PS2 but even then I parents already had bought me one for my birthday years earlier but I broke it, thus me having to buy my own.
