  1. This mission really was a bitch, as was all of Zero's missions. All I really can say is that sharp movements with controlling your plane are more than likely going to end horrendously. The plane can't take much damage whatsoever so learn to make more subtle movements. Also if I remember correctly, you only burn fuel when you are moving. So plan your route as long as you want. What is really keeping you from passing the mission? The vans? The bmx bike? The sanchez?
  2. I haven't tried it on consoles, but the games are the same so it should work too. Bold: Well of course, but I would think certain consoles and the pc have their own glitches and this sounds like a glitch so I was just making sure. To be blunt I don't even have a working copy of SA at the moment so it doesn't matter for now.
  3. Cool tip Llama and Bombi, I'll have to try that sometime. Does it work for all consoles and pc? I'm used to just running around killing people for their money hahah...
  4. Bold: I'm glad you brought that up because I forgot all about that problem. Cutting the amount of members a gang can have would definitely solve this and that sounds good to me. Might change the feel of a gang, but like you said, gangs could have alliances, and I think this would be a really cool change. You also described what I felt about Llama's idea, being that it sounds pretty sweet but I'm not definite of whether that should be a gang or not. Hence, my proposal of a new group feature. Either which sounds good though, possibly. I just need to here more of it to grow accustomed to it.

    GTA 5 Wishlist

Yeah, I think R* will let you do all the coding for that. - More side missions (GTA is known for the replay value, but that's mostly just jumping off buildings intentionally dying, punching hookers in the face, and setting up a line of cars packed with c4 and blowing it up. Let's see some more side missions.) - Offline multiplayer (Instead of buying 1 game for $60 and having 4 people playing on the same couch, it seems a lot of times nowadays 4 copies which add up to $240 have to be purchased so you and your friends can play together. Not cool. Not sure if it's 100% intentional.)
  6. I excelled in elementary/primary school getting principal list or honor roll each semester it was able to be awarded but then I hit junior high. Right from the start at 6th grade there was a drop in my motivation. I think it stemmed from my older best friends robbing my house right before junior high. It killed the concept of trust for me, and though anxiety related issues didn't kick until a few years later in life, I'm sure anxiety issues were boiling up at least subconsciously. Anyway, yeah, so the lack of motivation resulted in flunking virtually anything through junior high but I aced every test and because of still passing tests without having to study in middle school, I created this illusion that I wouldn't ever have to study for anything! Sweet! Obviously though that is not the case though for the average person, and because of that illusion I still didn't study my first two years of high school. My illusion DID hold truth for a while but at the end of my sophomore year, I was credit deficient. I also had pretty severe breathing related anxiety issues from food allergies, but they also more or less rooted from psychosomatic related issues and that made school pretty rough my freshman year. Like Chris pointed out, that's another story. I'm currently in my junior year of high school, and am not credit deficient anymore. I'm switching to a different school next year(better atmosphere there)and am enrolling in their AAI program which is an art program. I'll be taking the class that specializes in music probably, and if not, photography because I'm into film photography. Everyone in AAI has the same English class too so it'll be a fun senior year because I know a lot of people at the school I'll be switching to. Not sure yet what my plans are for college/uni yet but it is in the vague plan I have regarding my future. I'm passionate about a few things... just not sure what I should take the risk of pursuing. As for my choices so far, yeah, I am a little bummed with how some things went. I know I caused a lot of stress for my parents, but at the same time I'm glad how I've matured and learned the things I have learned. If things went differently, I may have turned out differently. As far as study habits go, I definitely don't condone procrastinating like it's nobody's business. Do well, especially in the younger stages, habits are tough to grow out of. So do well in school. Life isn't all work though. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."
  7. Interesting, this actually sounds pretty cool and potentially implementable. I like that you brought up gangs with a range of specialties instead of only gangs with a specialty because right away I thought to myself, "What about the masters of all trades, not the jacks of all trades?" What happens if most of a gang proves abundant in a subforum, but one or two others in the gang show the most activity in a completely different subforum? Do they just not get to be labeled as an expert to that because their gang overall doesn't have that image? Perhaps instead of tying this with gangs, we could create a whole new group feature which provides groups purely based on skills that would be displayed next to each member(i.e. a moderator would have his mod status, and under that picture text would write he/she is apart of the modding group, or the whatever group showing he is experienced in that field). Now that I think about it, maybe I'm just talking about forum bosses haha. Still though. I like Llama's idea. I also agree with Llama that it'd be nice to see the private forums come back. Though, how about as soon as possible? It may not prove needed now to the already settled in members(and/or it may become the only active part of the forum, but I seriously don't think that'll happen), but let's have it ready to use so the new members have something to reach for, because the ability to join a gang and get benefits from it was really enticing when I first got on board here at TGTAP. It showed(theoretically at least)that you were being a productive part of the community, because no gang wants an ass to represent them. Fully-integrated gang wars on the other hand, alone, is a big endeavor to apply, and it does require a good amount of people to participate which can be equally as tough. Also, the game we'd be using isn't something that just came out yesterday, and I don't need to say people naturally are more likely going to want to swarm to the newest thing(i.e. new consoles coming out every so years)than the predecessor. Then again, I've never played SA for PC, let alone the online version and don't know the traffic of it today so I'm not one to say anything there.
  8. Damn the people for ruining my GTA games by scratching them when I loaned them the games...

  9. Sound okay to you? The technical details are yet to be worked out, but it wouldn't be a full merger like renaming it to TGTAP Wiki or GTW Forums. Sounds more than okay! The technical details were really what I meant by saying, "but I also don't know the full details of what this would entail" and only because I don't know how much work it would be for you guys to do it(wish I was more knowledgeable on that sort of thing though, and hell, if there's anyway I CAN help, I'm more than willing).
  10. Hey man, welcome aboard. If you haven't yet, check out the forum rules... you know, so we don't kill you. Haha, just kidding. Btw, nice avatar avatar(pun intended, but not intentionally).
  11. Haha, as if I truly know what they mean! xD

  12. Currently: Faggio. I just feel so silly driving it with a tec 9 killing everyone.
  13. I'm definitely not as tech savy as some of the other members are around here, but your illegal copy of Vice City may be corrupted or perhaps incomplete? Could be other reasons, but frankly, just buying an actual copy of game would fix the problem.
  14. When I was looking at the recently bumped Christmas topic I scrolled past your post so that's probably how I knew. :P and i don't think that's lame at all, standard is really versatile in my opinion. Can you read music? I've been meaning to start learning dissonance and consonance and all that music theory stuff and learn how to read music but I haven't yet. :s haha

  15. Hahahah, cool to hear that you caught that so quick! It's certainly an amazing tuning. you're another player here on the forum right? I remember you talking about a guitar in a Christmas thread a year or so back, but my memory is so shot that I'm not certain

  16. laughed hard at game wanted's comment

  17. cool profilepicture man, welcome to the forum

  18. Hey ViceCityMobster, welcome to the forums. It's been a little slow here lately, but you're absolutely correct - the staff have a nice site running here . 22. Though thomasianos's post holds truth, we ARE on our site where we have a rather nice download database. Here is the main page for our downloads - it should have some of the stuff you're looking for I'd presume.
  23. Advice for what exactly? Are you saying you're arguing about whether GTA is good or not? Since you haven't gone to far into specifics this is all I can say: The first GTA was made around '97 I believe, and at the time, it was quite innovative and well made(though I never got my hands on any GTA game til '01 probably). Around '01, when GTA III came along and the III era was born, it blew everyone away and again, at the time, it was unbeatable(in game making aspects). A few more GTA games popped out and as the years went by the next-gen era came up in '08 with IV which got a great response much like it's earlier predecessors. All in all, GTA is a highly respectable game and from a avant-garde game making standpoint, it IS great. Whether you like it or not though, it is still is a subjective manner. So what you like, someone else may not like. GTA is not good or bad, it only is.
  24. Triads for sure(since we can't choose Grove Street). I enjoyed the missions that were relevant with the Triads.
