lol, actually, look at the last picture i submitted, it's an old chubby woman (see the skirt?), not a man, and that little picture you got there just shows she's got big...well, you know Oh, and look, the same character, and quite clearly the shadow shows it's just half a shadow, not a child's shadow, but half an adult shadow. ok? we done now?

Yeah, they wouldn't complain, be serious. Unless you had a mission "you have to blow up a bird sanctuary" or "kill 1000 birds in 3 minutes with a minigun" or something!

Sorry I updated my post there after you posted that, look at the attached pictures, I think they prove my point.

I think everyone has come to the conclusion that there are NO children in the trailer by now. For those of you that are still in denial, of those pictures posted at the start of this thread: The first picture is actually of a person half-sunk in the ground, it becomes obvious when you look at the stills from the trailer (see attached images) - the first two pictures clearly show it is half a person, then the last two show that person suddenly rising to ground-level. Case solved. The second/third picture shows quite clearly a spherical little bit of architecture - look at the benches in the third picture (that was posted originally at the start of this thread) on the right of the main character, the exact same spherical shapes. Now, can we all please leave this thread to R.I.P?

Why not just burn the HD version of the trailer onto a dvd and watch it from a dvd player, on your tv?

Just an interesting point.....there are currently 100,000 russians living in london, and much of the most expensive real estate belongs to russians.......so who knows, maybe there will be London in GTA IV.

So when a race is on and they leave a spare car in say an open truck round the back....then you can drive it off then! it would be a rarety! (and after all, I thought you didn't want too much realism )

Oh I know you were, I meant the guys saying it's only a trailer and maybe they'd look better in the game.

Mpilk, hey, great minds think alike! I realise especially the russian guy would look like a total moron on a skateboard, but it wouldn't be in any mission and just something you could do for a bit of fun. Spaz, I'm sure the type of go-kart CJ was using in SA was the pull-cord type, just a normal simple cord. You only really find the proper competition karts at race tracks, so unless there's going to be a race track in the game....(here's to hoping) On the issue of go-karts, it would be automatic - you would press 'enter', then he would automatically pull the cord and jump in the kart. same with cars, you get in, then when you press accelerate he has to start the engine. also, if there is another racing arena in the game, it would be awesome if they had a parking lot like round the back where they keep all the competition cars, and you can break in there and take any of them! And with a proper race track, the same idea could lead to some serious cars up for grabs...who knows, maybe even F1 cars!

I'd love to see more funny vehicles as well: in addition to those in SA... - Skateboards - Shopping carts in mall parking lots - A go-karting track with plenty go-karts to steal, and you have to start it properly (ie: pull the cord that starts it THEN get in and go) - Quad bikes etc etc Also, I think it'd be good if in the older cars, when you get in it takes a little bit of time to get it going if the engine isn't already running, or if sometimes it randomly stalls and like has black smoke coming out of the exhaust and breaks down sometimes!

Maybe they'll make a London expansion pack? Like they did for GTA1......I miss London in GTA!

What was wrong with the birds??? I thought they looked seriously good in the GTAIV trailer, I mean come on, what do you want?

Gycu, good idea!! And you could have the news tickers in times square giving reports like "25 people killed in mass hit and run" or "explosion reported in shoreside vale" etc, and as well as having cops going to the scene of the crime you could have tv vans as well!

Right, I decided that the fast parts of the GTAIV trailer are impossible to analyse because they just go to fast, therefore I have edited the trailer a bit so it only shows the stuff you can't see in the regular trailer and at a viewable pace - you can see more detail than the original video, however it will appear to be "choppy", simply because there aren't enough frames for it to run smoothly at a slower rate (this is all video editing talk btw). OGTAM, if and that's IF you're right and rockstar did post this, then....my god, they really aren't kidding, there must be one hell of a lot to this game and guys....do you, maybe think..............it could be the WHOLE of the USA? Think about it, the whole idea of the american dream is poor or run-away foreigner shows up, to start a new life....could we have the whole of USA to play with? Is that what they are saying? Are we sure that video only showed scenes from Liberty City? Could it be that there were more cities there?......!!!

Wait, I don't see anything to suggest that Rockstar themselves posted the video or made that comment.

Why in the world would you want to see the twin towers destroyed?!?!?! sick S.O.B. chrisrob again, no, the towers won't be in the game. The game is set in 2006/2007, so why on earth would they be? They weren't even in GTA3 were they? (can't remember seeing them)

Thanks Jace Cloud, well that's the point. You'd have to rob the place and get out BEFORE the cops arrive. It's all part of the challenge. And Evolution, yep, exactly, you can either be quick and wear a disguise (ski mask, balaclava, etc...) or you can shoot out the CCTV beforehand.....which might be difficult if it's inside in a public area (can't make it too easy!)

Spaz, hahahahahahaha lol good thinking People, remember Hitman? Ok, disguises are sometimes a bit unrealistic, but I do think a lot of the time it would work, would be a nice simple feature for GTA IV anyway. Except I never actually meant joke disguises (moustaches and beards), that's pretty stupid because false ones are obvious. If you're doing a robbery then a ski mask, stockings over your head, balaclava, or a helmet should be useable.

The whole point of mods is that they're optional -- if you don't like em, don't install em, simple as that! Modding helps keep games alive years past their use-by date! And if I was rockstar I'd just put the explicit sex scenes into the game on first release, why not, it's not like it could get a higher rating!
