Nah, just kidding man Phil is pretty damn cool and all, I like him, but he was definitely a lot better in GTA VC, he was really funny and all and made me laugh a couple of times, so I'll say Phil in Vice City '86. And I don't think it's anything wrong with bumping this kind of topic, and I understand your curiosity why the topic starter didn't put Phil from LCS, well maybe because you didn't really had anything to do with him? He just had that shop in Staunton Island and I don't even think it was Phil who stood there in the shop, I think it was someone else.

Yeah that's a nice idea, yeah like you did in Far Cry. Shooting while flying the parachute sounds like a good idea. Edit: How about the ability to get drunk? Let's say you can get drunk by getting to a bar and have a few drinks, or by friends out on the streets etc. And when you're drunk you drive worse and you walk kinda funny, and peds on the streets says something funny. You will get more attention and especially from gangs, so if you walk near a gang they might see you and start a fight or something, well then you can always surprise them by pulling up a gun or something. Seriously, what do you guys think? Maybe it wouldn't work that good, or maybe it could... Well, personally I think it would be kinda funny you know.

I agree with Cro, get rid of the traces and all sounds a little bit of a hassle to me, but in the same time realistic, but I don't want it to be too realistic, and I especially don't want GTA to be like some hitman game where in the end you have to remove traces all the time and change identify and all... Otherwise some pretty good ideas.

Dammit, you think all I want is snow Cro? Then you're completely wrong, man...The reason why I suggested Jamaica, Kingston is because it has alot of crime you know, I did some research and it's a very dangerous city and should fit GTA nicely, and yeah it doesn't have any snow but as I said in the earlier post, snow doesn't matter if it's going to take place in Kingston (and that also concerns New Mexico City, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo etc), so IMO it's a great place for a game like GTA. Edit: Yeah Scotland is also nice, like Glasgow. And Europe is a strong contender, and somewhere in Asia would be great man.

Present time would be nice, just too bad that most of the music sucks nowadays. The 70s and 80s had some really great music you know, but yeah, I'm a little bit tired of the 70s and 80s, I'd like to have it in present time yeah. I'm playing Parallel Lines right now and it's in the 70s. Yesterday I played some Vice City, that's in the 80s man... Now I really hope it's going to take place in present time.

Yeah that's right, if it will take place in another city than Liberty City I'm sure we will see more secrets and stuff, but Liberty City can deliver, if you know what I'm saying, but I really hope for another city, Moscow is great dammit, it has snow and all, it's outside of the US, it's big and dangerous, crime filled city and all, atm it's nr 1 on my most wanted list. Edit: Oh and IF GTA IV will take place in Liberty City again, then there better be some snow dammit!

And let's think a bit realistic, I mean, if they're going to have Liberty City again, I'm sure alot of things are new man, alot of things, I mean, ffs this is a GTA for the next gen and I'm sure R* knows that we want something new, so it's gonna be something new man. And yeah, hopefully Moscow.

Nothing is wrong with NY man, it's a great city for a game like GTA you know, it's a really big crime filled city. But damn, again? I mean, come on man, Liberty City was based on New York. And NY has been used in other games as well, for an example: Driver, Parallel Lines, True Crime New York City, The Godfather etc, know what I'm saying. Now I'm sure it would be awesome with the next gen graphics and all, but I'm still hoping for another place.

Yeah the movie allright. DareDevilX yeah you never know, I haven't played GTA that much but yeah you're saying something. And there's a possibility we will see Claude again, maybe in GTA IV, if not I'm sure we will control him in another GTA game.

Wu-Zi-Mu some pretty damn nice ideas but shouldn't this belong to the Wishlist topic or something? Anyways man yeah that's some nice ideas, except for the customization thing. Now I don't want you to customize your main character in the beginning of the game, I don't know man, I want it just like it was before, know what I'm saying. But I'm not saying the customization is a bad idea, I've said this before and I think it could be great if GTA IV is going to have online play. So before you start off playing online you create your own character from the scratch, you should be able to change everything man... Otherwise some pretty nice ideas.
