One problem, I live in Doha, Qatar which is in the Middle East and I don't think they have a customer service (Well, a decent one anyway)... I've been patient for about 5 months now.

The game isn't broken, I think it's just the online. I can still do single player, co-op, offline multiplayer etc. I'm just going to wait until a new update comes out or I may try a friend's version of the game just to check...

It isnt a problem with my PS3, it's the game thats not working. I've read that people are having the same problem. I only moved my PS3 downstairs but it was happening before I moved it aswell..

Yes I have tried that and I created a 2nd PSN account but it's been doing the same with that one. Its been like this for ages now.

I've been having problems with Resistance Fall Of Man, whenever I try to go into an online game it will ask me to update or else I cannot go into online play. I click "Yes" to update and it will come up with the downloading update screen but it will quickly go off and onto a screen which says "Update Failed, Network Error" I've checked my network and everything appears to be working fine. I can still download demos, movies etc from the playstation store and the Internet Browser is working to. I recently updated my PS3 to Version 1.93 with no problems. I've tried it through wireless and cable connection but I still can't download the update. UPnP is "Not Available" and my NAT Type is 3, do these matter? Anyhelp would be extremely appreciated. I've just gotten so sick with HD this, HD that. I can't read a Playstation magazine anymore without seeing HD dotted all over the page! They honestly have nothing else better to brag about. On Fifa 08 for the PS3, the start menu is so small you have to go right up close to read the text, literally. The ONLY way your able to read the text without getting up out of your chair is if you have a big 1080P HD tv. Now most people I know do not have a HD tv and just have your plain standard tv. Whats that Sony? You want to make me happy? Ok send me your biggest HD tv NOW. Sony have also started releasing tv tuners and tons of other accessories for the PS3 which have no purpose at all, the PS3 is a GAMING console and thus Sony should be working on new game titles etc. Oh and SIXAXIS? Don't get me started on that... The only game on the PS3 where I've actually thought it was kind of cool was R:FOM and even that wasnt too great. Whenever one of your enemies would jump on your face and attack you from up close, you shake the control to hit them off. SIXAXIS for driving games is a huge failure, not only do you have to have your arms completely straight and have the usb port on the PS3 controller facing upright for it to register the movement right but it can barely even do that properly. You tilt it about 30 degrees, nothing. But then tilt it by about 5 more degrees and your car will be swerving into the wall. PS: The new PS3 controller with rumble will be called Dualshock 3 (How original).

Yes it means online. If they wanted to do it right they would have to be atleast 40 players IMO. In Resistance Fall Of Man online they had 40 players on one map and it would be perfect for the games atmosphere and if they had about that amount of players on GTA IV it would be a nicely done game. They could have a game mode called seek and destroy where the amount of people on one server would be split evenly (8 aside) and whichever team kills off the other team first wins. Each player would have only 1 life but this could be changed to a maximum of 5.

I'm not that into shooting games that I'll buy a shit load of them. I have Resistance and that's good enough for now. I need to get a larger selection of different genres before I go buying more of the same kind. You should get SKATE, It sounds amazing if you ask me. To do an Ollie you quickly flick up then down on the analog stick and it goes on and on... The last Tony Hawk game I got was the remix version for the PSP, I got bored of it extremely quick. I think all the Tony Hawk games are just boring now, there all the same and not much has changed in about the last 5 games. I remember getting so exited about Project 8 and how it was supposed to be realistic and how every trick would be different etc... But when I saw videos of gameplay I was very dissapointed as you could still ollie about 10 metres in the air and and like a 360 nollie heelflip by just pressing X, left Square and it would be such an easy trick. My brothers friend has it he says it is the best game he's played in ages. I want it for Christmas. It's worth it, trust me. Maybe not though if you beat it on the Gamecube. But improved AI, nice graphics, and the Wii functionality/controls....it's a great buy for the Wii. Haha Desperate Housewives is so addicting. This may sound sad but I actually watch it with my mum, but atleast I don't get so emotional about it, its just you get into it and you want to find out what happens next so badly. I suppose thats the whole point of a soap though.
