Start here if you have version 1.1 or 2 http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9134 Take the save file you downlaoded & put it in the GTA SAN ANDREAS USER FILES folder in MY DOCUMENTS. When the game starts, select LOAD GAME & the new save should be there. Select it & play. If it doesn't work, you probably need to run the "downgrader", see above link for details. BTW, take a minute & look over the layout of the site & read the rules (just above your user name). Welcome & enjoy.

Fighting is the last resort, it's best just not get into them. But when the time comes & you have no other choice, don't hesitate. The worst thing that can happen is trying to "Ignore" them, it will only become a challenge to them. I don't know what the deal is w/ kids now but when I was younger, once a fight happened it was over. Now we have this BS "gangsta" mentality where someone does something ignorant, gets their ass kicked for it & has to have revenge. If it happens again- 1) Aim for his knees, especially the one he's putting his weight on. If you can't stand, you can't fight & as soon as he goes down, his buddies might not be so anxious for a piece of you. 2) This is the important part, let him throw the first punch & make sure it's clear you did NOT start it. I hope this works out for you & you don't need this advice.

3.0? Should get good mileage, & most of them had 4.0 V-6s. There's a few running around here in the midwest, they look pretty good w/ a couple inches of lift & the right tires. The biggest thing I like about the newer Rangers (besides being a Ford truck) is the available "Flex-Fuel" option, meaning they're set up from the factory to burn E-85, cut dependency on oil & burns cleaner. Look for a small square emblem w/ a leaf on it on Flex Fuel models. I'd drive it. Oh, & who says 6 CD is too much? My '96 tracker has 2 Sony 10-disc CD changers.

If my kid came home & told me that...oh, wait, they did. When my oldest (girl) was 7, some boy in her class thought it would be funny to run down the hallway returning from recess & grab the girls, in the crotch. They would jump & scream, which he thought was rather funny. Then he got to my kid. She grabbed him by the throat & it turned into a rolling fistfight down a flight of stairs & it took 5 adults to pull them apart. She beat his ass. After that, the teachers wanted an "emergency meeting" w/ me & her mother. There had been other times this kid had started w/ my kid I told the school they needed to deal w/ him accordingly. Boo hoo hoo, his mommy was single, ADD, etc etc. At that point I told them if I ever heard the kid's name again, I would teach my seven-year-old to take him apart w/ a ball bat. Never heard his name again. If someone attacks you like that, you have little choice but to respond. Sounds like I'm on the same page w/ your parents. Good on you.

Can we presume your sound works on your games & MP3s? I get a message when I log onto CompuServe saying I'm missing a "plugin" & some media files may not play. don't know how much that helps but it gives a direction to look.

So you got both discs that were produced by R* & Take two? The ones w/ the "Twins" on them labeled "Install" & "Play"? Then you should already have the files you need on the disc. Un-install your game, derfag the drive & re-install. If it still doesn't work, your friend sold you a defective disc (which would explain why he bought another copy). If they're home burned (as in your friend put a blank disk in his computer & copied the game to it) then it IS what Jace thinks it is, software piracy. Drop this before you get the attention of staff & get banned.

Really? Mine worked so well I literally wore it out. But than, if he already has to replace the disc, he's not really losing much. Try your local gamestore, see if they can clean up the disc. Around here (Midwestern US) I think the going rate is $4-$5 (US)

Retards who just don't know how to drive. I swear to God, some of the AIs in my games drive better than some of the retards I see on the road. At least in SA when a taxi hits me, I can give THEM the purple two headed monster (found in the LSPD HQ shower).
