  1. Disregard previous post. Still have a couple pics (other people's) not showing up in posts.
  2. It's the same button that fires a weapon, make sure you have the parachute selected before you jump.
  3. I've noticed a lot of avis/sigs (mine included) aren't showing up, I figured you guys were just tweaking the site again.
  4. Really? I hadn't noticed. Every time I mix it up w/ them, all I see is the spotlight (or so it seems). Just aim for the middle of the light w/ the M4.
  5. Walt. One of the few really decent people I've known. He passed away last Friday during surgery (8 hour marathon trying to fix a bad Aorta, just could not get the bleeding under control). Things almost never worked out for him but he still kept a good attitude & would give someone his last dollar if he thought it would help. The world is a little darker w/out him.
  6. CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS SPOILERS An extra hint for Stevie's cars, keep an open spot at the Bohan savehouse. Take the car there & take a minute to visit the local Burgershot or pick up ammo & armor (see below). By the time you return from Burgershot the car is fixed & you only need to get it 2 blocks to Stevie. Armored cars - Once open, Stevie's garage will pay around $3500 for armored cars, much quicker & easier than blowing them up. Until then, take them to the construction site just south of the Bohan savehouse for plenty of solid objects to hit. When it catches fire, park it in the open spot & get in one of the big trucks parked there. When it blows, give it a quick push to uncover a few more bundles of $$. Bohan useful items, from savehouse. (Free weapons are plentiful, just look.) Armor - Across from Stevie's garage (south) on the 3rd floor of the framework building Pistol - Across street next to the ATM, 6th floor SMG - On roof of Sprunk factory AK - Find the East Bohan Burgershot (near strip club) & from there go east to the 45' turn, go south into the yard & look for a square tower. Climb the ladder for a nice AK. Grenades - In alley 2 blocks north of Sprunk factory.
  7. Now that I've seen the vid, I looks like what you're looking for is the cars used. Try getting ahold of the person who made the video.
  8. Could you post screenshots of the mod? Without seeing it, I'm guessing the mod replaces cars & that's your problem. If the cars are replaced, the new ones aren't made to be modded (TF, LL & WAA) & adding things like exhaust & spoilers caused a conflict that crashed the game. The only way to fix that is to re-make the cars so they're compatible & change the models. It would be a bit of a job.
  9. The short version is that if you just delete a model from the game, it leaves a "hole" in the game. When the model is called up (either in a DATA file or by script) the game can't find it & gets confused, causing it to crash because it doesn't know what to do about the "hole". If you remove it from an IPL, the model is never called (in that instance) so the game doesn't get confused. In the case of the blast doors, they're probably placed in an IPL & temporarily removed by the MAIN.SCR for the mission where you enter the secret base. Same for the aircraft carrier in SF. BTW: I saw you posted a list of interiors in one of the other topics, good work. Suggest you start a topic on them so people don't have to hunt them down.
  10. Can't help much on your question, but agree about being able to kick problem players. Pretty much sick of "BOOT THE HOST, BOOT THE HOST!"
  11. Happy Birthday, even if you do make me feel old.
  12. HEY! What happened to that piece of cake I left here!? Should have expected someone to run off w/ it, this IS a Grand THEFT Auto forum...
  13. Sounds like your game glitched. Do you have a save just before "Undress to Kill"? If you go that route, park a car against the back door to trap the targets in side the club. This way you can use cover to take out the guards as you go in (worked for me).
  14. Here you go, it 's for SA but applies to GTA3 (& VC, LCS/VCS). http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6666
  15. ....Yeah, you did pay $50 this. The guy that made the cartoon obviously played the game, hilarious.
  16. Too bad the RPG only has 8 rounds in GTA4. I would make a day of that in SA.
  17. Courtesy of your Capitalists friends... Happy birthday & see you when you get back on.
  18. Presume you mean no damage to you, I bumped a psycho earlier today & my poor Kart died if a fiery explosion. RIP my poor Kart, it looked good w/ Ranx's custom skin.
  19. That's also the detonator for some nice grenades you set off remotely. You can find them facing the beach on the back of a hotel just north of the Washington Beach Pizza shop. One of my favorites from VC. Throw the grenade, select the detonator & wait for some poor SOB to get close...BOOM!!!
  20. It looks & works great, already had my own TF mod in place (the wheels are almost comical). Change the last digit in the VEHICLES.IDE entry to "0" for the basic set of TF wheels.
  21. I've done both, revenge first because Dimitri is just a back stabbing little weasel & offended me before I moved to Bohan. Both endings have the same effect on you in that & you lose someone close to Niko, I almost expect DLC to start off w/ a phonecall saying & Niko goes after the remains operation (speculation).
  22. Post # 4000 & most of it isn't too spammish.
  23. "The Politics of Dancing", The Reflex. Great for when you're in a Vice City mood.
