Remember the bullet-proof Patriot you got from Ray for that ride to the airport? Now's the time to use it. It's been a while since I played, but as I recall the timer doesn't start until you get close to the first stand. Take your BP Patriot & start by the hospital in Shoreside Vale. Work your way across the map through Staunten Island & over to Portland. Finish up w/ the stand in Saint marks (next to taxi spawn across from Salvatore's place). Give my regards to the "Family" while you're there.

If you get this working, I'd like to see how. Supposedly, GTAs wouldn't support any more vehicles than the game already had. In the meantime, there are a couple redundant cars like the wrecked Glendale & Saddler. There's also the FBI truck that doesn't get used (I got this one to show up in traffic, driven by criminals).

I see the cable's off again.... When this went past a couple days, the BF should have refused to bring her food. "you want it, get off your butt (literally) & go get it." To answer your original question, I presume the conversion came w/ a new script (to go w/ the save files). Which version of SA are you running? If it's not V1 you'll have to downgrade. Look at the top of the page in GTASA MODDING for the topic & downgrader. I'm sure if you ask a mod, they'll move this to GTASA MODDING for you. Gerard has recently stated it's okay as long as it's not the EXE or a file used to crack the copyright of the game. If you think about it for a minute, conversions replace almost all the original files & are acceptable. As a guideline, ask yourself this - Can I legally get a modded version of the file I need? If so, then you should be okay. If it's something to make a downloaded version (except Steam, legal) then it's a problem. Original script files should be okay.

Remember the ice cream truck? He sold it & got a little crazy in some of the cut scenes, so he probably used. Sucks about CJ, survived being attacked by Denise just to get bus-whacked.

There was a case sort of like that locally back around '80 or so, an old woman refused to get out of her bed for a year or so & had extreme bedsores. Her grand son got stuck cleaning up (she NEVER left the bed, he's still screwed up) & the family even tried to make her got to the doctor. Local PD informed them that if they tried to force her to a doctor they would be charged w/ felony kidnapping. Finally the sores became & went gangrenous, leaving no choice but to call for paramedics. She did not live. The same police & county prosecutor who threatened the family w/ criminal charges spent the next 10 years trying to put together case for neglect,manslaughter.

Are you running original or modded versions of your games? I ran into that in VC w/ the Marina Carpark mod.

Consider this, 100 years ago there was a pollution problem from the horses replaced by cars & trucks. It was literally a foul stinking mess & had to constantly be cleaned up. Think about that next time someone bitches about SUVs & classic cars.

The Colombians Caught up to Claude about six months after the shootout at the dam. Tommy recently passed away among his family from a weak heart caused by all the coke back in the '80s. Denise flipped out & stabbed CJ 37 times w/ a carrot peeler. He survived this only to run in front of a bus escaping her.

Maybe this will help. Uninstall the game & defrag your hard drive, then re-install SA. In the past I've noticed Windows can be a little "lazy" & will re-use the old files if they aren't overwritten. I realized this when I had to re-install SA & recognized some of my DATA edits still showing up. A quick defrag cleaned up the old files & I got a clean install.

Buzzkill, "Ghost in the Shell" was swapped out for "Bleach" or something last night. I'll get the box set off e-bay.

I've seen a few map mods that are SUPPOSED to spawn cars but have yet to see one that works. I've used BW's mission builder to place vehicles in handy places, try it. The only downside I've seen is that you have to start a new game w/ each new script.
