If one of your mods is a different script then your save games won't work unless they were made w/ that script. As I understand information in the save changes location w/ script changes & makes them incompatible.

You'll enjoy things like killing rats w/ your slingshot & throwing them at prefects. Yes, they WILL chase you. You can also stuff people into trashcans or lockers, give wedgies, throw stink bombs/itching powder/eggs/etc, & get into general mischief. Bully II (if they make it) should have "rat wedgies" where you throw a dead rat into someone's underwear as you give them a wedgie.

Swimming is confirmed. I read in a recent article that Niko needs immigration papers in the beginning & be restricted to a small part of the map, apparently it works like SA.

Let me guess, you want around the roadblocks early in the game. If that's the case, don't forget that SA has the 4* warrant for leaving "open" areas of the map. You'd be better off using a script mod like SANGA for early access. As for the roads themselves, you could try contacting the modeler of VC 420 & see if they are going to do a version for SA.

Besides completing other missions, cheats have been an issue. Some of them corrupt your game if you save after using them. A couple guys know more about this & will probably pop in w/ some helpful info. BTW, if you reload from an earlier save, here's something you can use. After the firefight in "House Party", there are several locked Balla cars sitting around the circle including a Tahoma parked right in front of CJ's house. Push it into your garage & let the door close. Go back to the garage & enjoy your new BULLETPROOF Tahoma. I did this (PC version 1) & tested it by shooting the gas cap, repeatedly. Keep it in Ganton for dating Denise when the hood isn't so good.

I think he's talking the original Vice City, although VCS (PS2) has it's share of glitches. If you want the Katana, I think there's one upstairs at the Malibu Club..

I think I could live in San Fierro. I love to unwind in San Fierro, zipping through the glass canyons & under bridges in a "borrowed" Maverick & through Chinatown on a FCR900.

I just got latest OXM mag & read about GTA4 multiplayer. It seems the R* crew had the OXM people over for some multiplayer action & they decided to round up large vehicles, dump them into the pond at "Middle Park" & blow them up. It was set off prematurely. Anyone w/ on line (X360 or PS3) should get together & try for a nice big blowup on their respective systems. That would be a good "first thing" for multi-player.

If kids were in GTA, killing them should get an immediate 4* warrant. Repeat offenses would get the attention of local vigilantes as well as the cops. "Hot Coffee" would be pretty insignificant (it cost TT/R* millions) in comparison to the controversy it would cause.

Spend a little time running around San Fierro & listen to the cops' random dialog, some of them have a female voice. It's assigned in one of the files in DATA. Before you start messing w/ them, BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!!

That's news to me, I have no problem locking on. I have a PS2 style controller set up to mimic the console version & just press the right upper trigger to lock on.

There's a lot of stuff. You can also get level 4 weapons from XBL (cost points).
