The short answer - The EXE file is what makes illegal downloaded versions work. Chris & the staff has put a lot of work into making this site as good as it is & doesn't need the stigma of distributing "warez" or pirated software. If your downgrader doesn't work try downloading it again, it may have been corrupted. If it still doesn't work, post in the right thread & someone will help you get it sorted. SPECULATION: If there are cheats, they will probably lock-out achievements & 100% completion. That's fine w/ me, cheaters just set me off. It's okay in a single player game when you just want to screw around, but not for passing a mission just so you can claim to be the best (when in fact you had to cheat to do it).

At best we'd probably see an extended version of CJ's "yes/no" type of contact, otherwise R* would have to have someone online 24/7 to play the part. It would be cool if they did pull it off.

lol nice 3-year bump. Take a minute & read the rules, welcome & enjoy. PS for a big bomb, play San Andreas. Get a bunch of tractors (they can link like a tow truck) & some satchels. That's quality entertainment.

Thanks for getting this up. Better graphics is a given for the X360 compared to the PS2. I really like the PS2 version, but if it's anything like the difference in versions of "the Godfather", I'll be picking up the Scholarship edition soon.

I've recently read that the X360 DLC packs for GTA4 compare in size somewhere between VC & SA, so to get the most out of it, I'd say X360 if you have to pick just one. As I understand, you want one made after Sept. '07 to avoid the "Red Ring of Death" issue. According to a local game shop, if you look through the grate on the left end (looking at the front of the console) you'll see a copper strip on the older units. Newer production apparently doesn't have that strip, this is from a couple of local sources. Eventually I plan on a PS3 as well, since both have exclusive games that look good.

How much video RAM are you running? Your processor is the same as the one in my laptop & VC runs nicely on it w/ on-board video.

I guess I'm just feeling generous. Open CARGRP.DAT in your SA DATA folder. Look at the end of each line at the group names & pick one (like beach people, entertainers, etc) Add ", euros" to the end of the list of cars. I added it to criminals & a couple other groups. Enjoy.

Ya know what?!! This is why we don't have nice stuff! Tossing it in the water is the only way to "destroy" a bicycle in the game, I've attached satchels & shot it w/ RPGs, it just won't take damage. Even the tires are bullet proof, I think.

Kinda hope that's true, maybe MS is going for standardized controls for X360 games (tell me you wouldn't want that!).
