Sherman
So I was playing Sega GT 2000 yesterday, and well ya'll know it's not really the best. I'm thinking which I should get, or suggest something completely different (That's $20) I've played both.. and I'll compare.. but I only remember so much. Forza: Damage models Custom paint / vinyl system GT4 In-depth tuning Massive car selection Adding to my list would be good, don't flame, debate if you have to. GO! Kitsune Inferno
Forza, of course. In Forza, you could make custom paint jobs! The interface may be a little clunky, but if used by an expert, something like a Halo-themed Nissan 350Z. Oh, and online play, but I'm not too sure you have Xbox Live. Sherman
Nah, I don't have XBL. Doubt many people would be on with Forza 2 out, anyway. Does either have a 90 - 94 240sx or do you know?
Red_91
Probably GT4 but I have never played Forza so I couldn't say but the reviews suggest it was a good game, though GT4 ain't bad either, its got a lot of cars but I actually got bored of it, too repetitive imo. Sherman
Yeah... that's what I don't want, to get it and get bored within a few hours. This is gonna be my entertainment for awhile (Because I've played the hell out of most of my other games)
Kitsune Inferno
Well, with GT4, you're gonna have to go through those driving tests. And with Forza, it'll take awhile before you win a race. Hmm, maybe I should have suggested Burnout: Revenge. That was pretty fun.
Sherman
Yeah.... I was kinda lookin' for a realistic game. Or I might just pick up NFS Carbon (That went down didn't it? Or should have by now I think. And yes I do realize that's an arcade kinda game ) Anyone else?
Chris
GT4 is win. But I got bored of that eventually, though after a long time playing it I have to admit. Did last me quite a while. Never played the original Forza but I'm loving Forza 2 at the moment, if the original was a great success which I hear it is, I guess go for that. LOL NFS... NFS sucks now, series is ruined for me. But yeah I'm gonna say Forza...
tilly
if you want real driving. get GT4. and the thing is that forza got boring for me, i just didnt like the interface or driving.
Kitsune Inferno
I don't see how GT4 can be considered a driving simulator, IMO. It's a good racing game in its own right, but I still don't see why people think it's a simulator. I mean, some of the cars handle like they're from the Need for Speed series. You could easily take turns by RAMMING into any guard rail, and not to mention you could just ram into other cars with little to no penalties. Oh, and what's the point of the stop-and-go driving tests? Yeah, just go Need for Speed: Carbon. Autosculpt feature, right?
Highwire
Dude you gotta get Crash n' Burn its sweet. I'm not much in to the GT series or the Forza series. So I voted for Some other kickass game.
Red_91
TBH I loved GT4 when you play it with someone else, the it got a lot betterand more harder, though I did eventually get bored of it, I almost forgot about NFS but Carbon for me is too similar to the previous NFS but still its a good game. MrLlamaLlama
Burnout. 3-'Takedown' or 4 'Revenge' - Your choice. This game is win. But as far as a driving/racing simulator, i say GT4.... Reasons? More 'out ther' or lesser known cars.... Fun to drive/take the piss out off. Me and my mate had a rally race with honda cubes fitted with mud tyres. Painfully slow. So we blasted round in Belgian supercars on a terrifyingly easy track for a while. Then played 'Tag' With cars, on a racetrack. But that's not waht that's all about now is it? To conclude: GT4
MishoM
Out of those two choices, GT4.
