chris82
No, it's one of three things: 1. Your TV and wiring 2. Your PS2 and wiring 3. You're a stupid noob. Probably the 2nd one. Make sure the sound cables are in the correct ports. Edited January 20, 2005 by chris82

chris82
I have Leela and Fry from Futurama living together, and yes she does have the authentic one eye and pony tail. Besides that nothing, other than the AlienWare computer on their website.
Righty
I don't think San Andreas is a dual-layered DVD. I'm jumoing on the bandwagon, it's probably your wiring. If your disc was bad, it would probably have a disc read error or not work at all
Chris
I don't think San Andreas is a dual-layered DVD. you thought wrong, thats one of the first things Rockstar told us about it. And I also agree that its your wiring messed up

smartboy4
i think rockstar just want to earn some more $ by making the game disc into dual layer one.
Spaz The Great
They would have to spend MORE on the dual layer. That doesn't make sense.
chris82
It's a double-layer disc. If you look close you can see the wiring for the second layer. Some people think it's only one layer because when you stick it in your computer it only reads it as one layer. Unless you have a dual-layer burner on your PC, it can't tell the difference. Your problem is not your disk. It's your PS2. Even though it has a scratch, mine has many scratches(with a long story behind it), but it works perfectly. I prefer not to use the "Game Dr", when you could just return the disk and get a new one. Try cleaning up you PS2 of dirt and dust. Make sure all of the vents are clear as well. Here's what you should do: 1. Clean you vents out to prevent overheating. (I prefer you use a can of air that you can find in PC sections in stores for like $5 and just blow the dust free of the vents.) 2. Buy a "laser lens cleaner" at the store. (It should be located in the electronics department. Simply take the disk and insert it into your PS2's drive. The step-by-step instructions should allow you to properly clean you lens.) 3. If none of the above help, try contacting PS2 customer services and explain to them waht had happened. (Either by email or phone.) 4. If THAT doesn't work, just return your game and get a new copy of it. The store SHOULD allow you to recieve a new copy. 5. If all of the above doesn't work, then try getting anew PS2.... Hope that helps! Edited January 27, 2005 by Cough7007

Corporate_Nothing
One thing I've noticed is that my game freezes only when going on dates or listening to Radio X. My disc is scratched so minutely that the game only freezes during that particular event. Because of this, I can no longer get tattoos or do driving school, as RadioX automatically plays.
