Sherman
Please check links you're going to click on, especially users you've never seen before. Bots are resorting to hidden links, tricking people into going to their sites (usually filled with spyware and such) Short announcement, but it's all I have to say. I clicked it earlier (Dumb, I know) and just wanted to get it out to everyone. Thanks, Sky
Huckleberry Pie
OK, noted. People should hover first on the link before clicking on it; that's what I do whenever I receive a suspicious message with links...

Shortbus
Don't you have to put in an authentication code thing to prove you're human? Gmail's is like impossible to read. Edited October 9, 2008 by Shortbus

TM™
Guys, just simply don't click on any links that look suspicious, because you will then keep getting these emails from these bots. Hopefully now that you received them, they shouldn't be sent to you again. PROTIP: If you guys have FireFox, you can easily recognise that the site is suspicious if you just place your cursor over the link without clicking it. Scientist
Got once from a drug store. Maybe they meant Medicine drugs. But I think it's 'The Drugs'. And the forums can do this authentication Images with like other alphabet except for the Latin. And give the keyboard so you will be able to type it. Urbanoutlaw
Thanks for the heads-up, my Rocket Box already has enough problems. I presume mods are deleting these links as they are found?
TM™
Thanks for the heads-up, my Rocket Box already has enough problems.I presume mods are deleting these links as they are found? Yeah, anything suspicious that links to anything like medication/porn/gambling will be deleted. And by looking at it right now, seems there aren't many bots appearing on here, which is a good sign. If you do though keep seeing any links that are suspicious, report them and a moderator will check it out.

TM™
Thanks for the head's up dude.People are only doing that because they have a site them selves but its not as good or active as this one Well actually, that's wrong. They do this to make money, not to get themselves big. If you click on their site link, they most likely get some cash out of it, or not. I don't know much on how they get the money, but it is a known fact that they make money some way or another. By the looks of things, I haven't seen one in sight. So I guess the update truly works. And some of those spammers are a part of some syndicate (read: gang or mafia) in Russia or some other country that makes money out of hosting illegal websites, such as the so-called Canadian Pharmacy and all those XP Antivirus 2008 rouge things...
