Ivan
So basically each member would vote for who they would like to interview. After the voting's done, people get to ask qustions and after a while, someone else is chosen. I saw this in another forum and it worked kinda well, I think it could be cool, plus this place could use some more activity.
Chris
Indeed that is quite a cool idea and could be quite interesting, if people ask good questions that is. I would be up for this
Chris
I guess no one else was interested in this then?
Ivan
Yeah so it seems, I think it's a great idea but it's not like I'm gonna force it.
Gerard
You didn't really explain it very well. Do you mean pick a forum member for everyone to ask questions to? Users nominate themselves, other people vote for which one they want to ask questions to, then ask questions, they answer, then we all do it again? Ivan
Haha sorry : p But yeah, everyone votes for who they want to be interviewed( you can't vote for yourself), then you see the one person who was voted more. That person is then asked questions by the community during like a week or something, then you just redo this whole process. By the way, a person can't be chosen twice, after you do an interview it's over. Edited October 8, 2010 by Ivan
Nate10
I guess no one else was interested in this then? I read it around the day it was posted, but wanted to process it a little more, to create a more in-depth post. I'm currently stoned so I don't feel like writing anything but I'll be back in this topic with 2 cents or so soon.

The Bossman
I might be in at some point, wanna see how the first few go before deciding.
MK47
Formspring could be used for this also?
Mpilk901
Sounds good to me. Depending on how many members take part in it though, you would need to set a limitation on the number of questions that they can ask.
Chris
Formspring could be used for this also? No, the point is to get more people active on these forums. But yes I'd imagine the actual 'interview' would be formspring style. i.e. we'd have a topic where users would ask questions and the interviewee could respond to each one individually. Alternatively we collect questions over a few days and they're asked all at once, this doesn't really encourage posting though.
Bear
Maybe if the person interviewed answer's three questions at a time while other question's are still being posted throughout the rest of the week. Maybe that could work?
Ivan
I say let people ask as many questions as they want, then it's up to the dude interviewed to decide if he's gonna answer them all.
EvoLuTioN
Do you mean interview people from the people related to the GTA series(Rockstar, voice actors, etc) or members of the forum? You could use the TGTAP Chat for live interviews. Decide on a base set of questions beforehand(5-8 or so depending on the time limit), Setup the interview in chat, Let the interviewee answer one question.. users and interviewee discuss on that for x minutes then next question and so on. Sorto like a debate.

Patty-T
I'd much rather see interviews with people involved in the production of Grand Theft Auto games. Even people who did minor voice work or motion capture would be interesting.
Nate10
I am all in favor of figuring out ways to keep the community alive and active, and this could turn out into a cool thing, but I'm just not sure how high the demand for this idea really is. If it proves to be a wanted thing here, then I'm all off it. I'd much rather see interviews with people involved in the production of Grand Theft Auto games. Even people who did minor voice work or motion capture would be interesting. I'm not too sure how hard it'd be to go about doing that, but I'm certain it'd be a lot harder than getting members here to participate and get interviewed. Earthbound
Interesting.. I suppose the only thing you'd have to worry about is appropriate questions being asked. I suppose there would be some sort of filtering process?... and that brings me to a couple more questions.. Would everyone post their questions in a specific "interview" topic? I'm not sure if we'd make it to where there are specific rules as to which questions would obviously be restricted and/or if there would be set perimeters per interview based on what the person(who's being interviewed) tells us what can't be asked. Earthbound
Maybe I'm just overthinking it? Also, in retrospect, appropriate was never something many TGTAP members were good at, so perhaps, just wing it? Everything is ending in an upwards tone tonight.. Notice that?
