I'm not sure about compatibility issues with Vista and GTASA, but maybe if you try setting the compatibility mode to 2000/XP in the SA executable, it may work. Otherwise, downgrade to XP - Vista sucks a lot when it comes to performance; too many cosmetic knick-knacks with little consideration to the user's real needs...

Agreed; R* might still add them in the game, but only for cosmetic purposes, since the cops can still recognize you judging from the plate number and from your face, especially on a top-down vehicle...

Why not do this in real life? OK, not much to say but here are the rules for this game: Post a picture of your room, your turf or any other place that you like, paste an HUD and a floating save icon (it can be like the ones used in GTA, or any other storage device, like a flash drive or an SD card). Works best if you do this in Photoshop, but it's OK if you just did it in Paint... God Bless and enjoy...

OK, so I was thinking of making a mod for San Andreas, replacing a building in SF with the Plaza Hotel. I saw a Sketchup model of it, and I was wondering if I could convert it to 3DS and cross-convert it to DFF, textures and all... Can someone help me with this?

The end result of combining a mature rated game and a children's novel... Well, it's rawther childish or otherwise dorky, but I thought of making SA look like some children's game after watching the San Andreas anime mod on YouTube recently...
