There's only so much you can do with a game. You fail to realize all the smaller details in the game. I've seen more tiny detailing that made my day than I could name off right now, and I don't even own the game, so I only get to play it every now and then. Don't use .gif for transparent sigs. Always looks crappy. Go with .PNG. Way better quality. 'Tisn't a render Maybe because the lasso tool isn't a rendering tool? As in, you can't render anything with the lasso tool. In fact, the only rendering done on Photoshop is automated processes.

Formatting isn't always the solution. It just sounds as if your mouse is clicking more than you are. Maybe try a new mouse? I had a mouse go haywire once when it was dying out.

Have you made sure to get a PSU that can support what you need it to? I'm not sure what my system is, but I wouldn't even buy a 450 unless my money absolutely required it. I haven't used less than a 450 in years, and that seems to be enough for me for right now.
