hahah, trust me R* would have the money and in other games they do have licensed cars. And BTW the Hybrid car looks like a cheep 90s version of the VC Deluxo. Let me guess, like Midnight Club? A game which lacks damage models? Ye but they did pay a license and the cars do get damaged but the level of realism in that is just very low. For example the car just gets little scratches and a cracked windshield after smashing it in a brick wall at the speed of 250 km/h. I think they have damage textures but im not sure if they have damage models. In the game LA rush you could damage your car and all the cars were licensed but you couldn't make your own custom tuning which sucked. I can remember a car like this in real life but i have no clue of its name but it looks like a mix of the Chevy Impala and the 67 Pontiac lemans... or the Chevy bel air kinda...

I have exactly the same problem! I also downloaded Zmod 2 and i also couldnt Import any files! Im trying to convert some SA cars to Vice city but i dont know how and im really trying to find out but if i do i will let you know.

That is kinda what they do but its not always funny. Like Delorian - Deluxo or Stallion - Mustang and on or they make up stuff that fits to the car. Its better than paying a license!

Its pretty cool how all this has become so advanced over such a small amount of time. Its been less than 10 years since the first propper GTA came out (gta III) and if we take a look back to it we can see how the engine developed into all this. The computer can now actually create its own animations and practically behave like a real human. I really like the clip when a car runs over a ped in different speeds and different things happen the dummy like first at slow speed he just kinda tumbles over the hood and roof and falls off but at a higher speed the glass brakes and he falls off in a much more ruff way. On the fastest speed he like ends up inside the car after he has crashed through the windshield.

You also flipped out on me in the real cars in gta iv topic even though i discovered something you have not mentioned so please you chill out. Sorry about that, I find the Lock on aim is cool because you dont have to use it but its usefull for killing multiple opponents. Like in Scarface i did not use it often because you had a choice.

Im gonna get it, rush through the story and beat the game to around 70% then become bored and run around the city jacking cars, killing inocent people and messing with cops. Eventually im just going to stop and wait for the PC version and go on experimenting and modding it.

I agree. Even though i have a PS3 i think the highest PC graphics are better. I have Raibowsix Vegas for PC and PS3 and what can i say, the pc has much smother and detailed graphics but it lags a lot. And the Screenshots are kinda oilish... Maybe its because they have been made of the Xbox 360 and not the PC... I may be tottaly wrong (so please dont shout at me if so)

Not exactly but like in all GTA series changed and renamed. in this way Rockstar do not have to buy any license and can then spare a lot of money. This was mentioned earlier in the topic.

What they do is they change some small things around and rename the car. I think i might have spotted a mercedes in the 3rd trailer "move up ladies". The rims arent really mercedes style and the car is a bit different but check it out Here is a pic:

I did not convert those SA cars to VC. I meantioned the real author on the download and i dont have a PC version of SA.
