OK abit of a breakthrough, PS3 40GB is $699 AND now I found out, only the 60gb had emulation (some games compatible) now this 40gb has NOTHING for ps2...sorta sux if you ask me, Now, the 360 Elite (120GB HDD, HDMI, wireless control, black!!) is also $699. The basic 360 (20gb hdd etc) is still same price. I suppose this would change some opinions - I sorta now wanna get the 360, seems better value But, I wanna play the new GranTurismo (GT5 or GTHD or whatever the hell they are calling it)

Hmm...(wikipedia) But I suppose I'll need to budget at least 1500AUD for a new decent desktop? Which I will have to pay for myself, somehow...with no job and no time for job...

If you read the Wii Instructions (operations manual) there are a few things you can do 1. If you have wireless router, then your set 2. If you have wired router, you can buy the Nintendo Wii USB thingy, which will allow you to share net off the computer its plugged into (comp must be on) 3. If you have wired router, and dont wana buy the USB thing, you can buy a converter which converts a LAN connection (ethernet, normal network cable) into USB i think, so then you can plug that into Wii I was trying to think of a way to get it working by sharing the internet from my laptop (making a adhoc network, then saying "let other users connect through my internet connection" - i was also desperately trying to do this for my PSP, but I think that you have to have a infrastructure type (with a router) for Wii (or PSP for that matter) to pick up any signal

I was thinking of upgrading my laptop (prob upgrade cpu to 2ghz duo and upgrade card to something better than a 7300GT) instead of having to buy a new desktop, but I've heard a lot about having issues with overheating etc...Have you had any troubles of this nature? btw did you upgrade the CPU, how does a 1.5 coreduo go with the games, what have you tried on it? I'd rather have a pink laptop for like $500US cheaper, especially if im paying for it myself

Vista....better? Did the sun set today? Well? Did it? If so, XP is better ____________ Lol nah that was a bit tight...Vista will be good soon but I wouldnt get it unless I got a brand new computer (and couldnt choose) and even then I'd reformat and put XP on... If i was to get a new computer in 2009 or 2010 then I'd consider Vista, but right now, performance isnt up to it unless you have a fat budget...my friend said vista idles on 1gb of ram (ie it uses 1gb ram to do nothing, with no programs open - just all those effects etc) Personally i think I wouldnt even bother at ALL because, you dont need to have a shadow on the window, or a transparency effect (even though nvidia control panel can do this on XP)..nobody notices, why even bother...people are just getting spoilt...

Of course, the post Xmas sales...where everyone's credit cards are already maxed out and nobody wants (or can) spend more Umm nah I haven't decided. I'm in the process of getting a prepaid Visa, so I can buy some stuff off the net. I will probably wait till my birthday (feb 2) to get some more cash (i dont have enough now unless I take out of savings...) - too many things to get - car, ps3, stereo for car, wireless router -- need a job but starting college on jan 7 so....

Yeah the graphics look pretty good..It would be really cool to play it on PS3 w/full HD (1080p) television to see what its really like I really want to get the next Gran Turismo as well! I need a PS3 though no free roam sux...its fun overall I think, but not the greatest game...And is there a "customize" mode like NFSU2 had, or a "my cars" like carbon had where you dont pay, but u make cars out of whats unlocked to use in quick race? If there isnt then, thats scored low with me

GTA2 is so fun to play just to laugh at the stuff that happens... eg The electric gun...i love that...I could play GTA2 for hours just electrocuting all these people. And the animations are funny eg if you shoot someone straight on with the rocket launcher, and you see them fly up up into the sky then fall on the roof of a building or the middle of the road and makes a funny splat noise... **offtopic** Imagine they put a electricity gun in GTA4...It would be good if they had heaps of licensed guns eg Steyr Aug, H&K MP5, maybe even M249..that would be cool.

Well I dont remember what I voted for , i think I voted ages ago but didnt post Umm I liked pretty much everything - except emotion 98.3 --- Wildstyle, Flash FM, VRock, Fever105 - the music from then is pretty cool - maybe explains why I also like music from Scarface...but I listen to MP3 station a fair bit too VCPR is easily the funniest radio station I have ever heard (i found a thing to convert it to mp3 if you have on pc, so I listened on my iPod - hilarious) The advertisements are especially really funny.."shoot the blue dot with your red square" or something like that..."degenatron" lmao

Which of you have this game? I know quite a big poll (many choices) but it's multiple choice so If you have on ps2 and PC then check both I have it on PS2 atm since my PC isnt good enough - I have a Logitech Driving Force EX as well, and it is tons of fun with this game

Umm WSAD for movement (like cs) although ive configured that to the arrows hold shift to sprint spacebar = jump capslock = start sub-mission (eg vigilante) (maybe number 2 (above W) is vehicle sub mission) tab - show stats click mouse left button = fire click mouse right button = aiming r = change radio station i think g and h - one of these is recruit gang members one is tell gang members to leave v = change camera view numpad 2 4 6 8 = tilt helicopter down left up right w and s = while on motorbike lean forward or backward in menu's shift = advance (like X) and enter = back (like /_\) left alt in car = nos ctrl on keyboard is shoot i think (left ctrl) h in car is hydraulics also use numpad 2 4 6 8 the first few (F1 F2 F3) are view replay save replay something like that Thats pretty much all the controls you need to know for most things

Hmm quite a big bump oh well...got a Wii for xmas (wasnt my idea, I was sorta undecided between the 360, PS3 and Wii - I was going to buy a Wii earlier this year (around easter) but got a PSP instead... So we got Wii (w/wii sports), brain training, extra wiimote and nunchuck, and some accessories pack which came with coloured rubber cases for wiimote + nunchuck, rechargable battery packs for wiimote, coloured wrist strap...Its pretty fun so far, although I'm a bit sick of the Wii sport games, some just get really boring... I would probably rank them like this: 1.Boxing 2.Golf 3.Bowling 4.Baseball 5.Tennis (played this the most even before having Wii, abit sick of it) Boxing has now jumped up to 1, since it is a lot of fun. I played my dad in it, and I won (not by much, around 1 full health circle) but it was funny how I won. At the end of the first round his health was only one piece. Then the second round started and I punched, clean shot to the head. Then KO..He was like..hey..but..how did you win in one punch..lol

Haha cool.. We had ummm Turkey (of course), ham (have a big leg of it) umm prawns on skewers, balmain bug (sorta like lobster), homemade icecream (more sorbet than anything), pavlova, fruit, lots of soft drink ... Got Wii w/2controls & nunchuck, wii sport (obviously) and brain training. Also got coloured silicon cases for wiimotes and nunchuck, coloured wrist strap, rechargable battery packs for wiimotes - pretty fun although Iam already sick of wii sports, and brain training requires too much thinking to be a game (although some games do require a lot of thought) Got Logitech Driving Force EX and ProStreet for PS2, was playing that until 2:30 (everyone was asleep) a mini rc WRX (matchbox car size) umm stuff for the pool and heaps of money - which will go towards a green laser And family got a early xmas present - combination pool table / air hockey 7ft...it just turns over and u play the other game. So fun

Well....my sister got a Wii for Xmas...so...umm..yeh Im sorta in limbo, I dunno whether to get or just wait for a while...my friend here said wait till june or so 2008, by then the controllers will have dualshock (rumble/vibration whaetver) as standard and it will be cheaper

I would recommend this game definitely, I think this is one of the few games that has such good replay value - you can just start a new game, and its so addictive, you just want to keep playing. Then when you're finished you start again, but you never get bored of it..

Well i think its sorta where you were born/raised But its also the nationality of your parents too...if your parents are chinese and you are born/raised in ireland, then you're not irish are you? thats the way i'd think about it family events, tradtions also come into play
