Haha, finally. GTAForums is a mess. Now I'm very hyped. This means Rockstar has to show something somewhere this month.

Mass-emailing; I don't think that would work, as Mike said probably most people have different email addresses and sending an email to 50k members would be very resource tasking on the server, with a very unlikely chance of success. Reorganising could be a good idea, but we'd have to let everyone know somehow, and, as said, internet culture is changing and forums aren't what they used to be. GTAForums is bigger because it was one of the first, and it always had a lot of activity, don't take me wrong on this though, not trying to compare anything. Reviving the multiplayer scene would be a good idea, problem is, hackers would probably come back and ruin the party, and there still would have to be some form of contact in-between missing members to let them know. Contests are definitely a good idea, Facebook and Twitter spreads are always good to let people know. Maybe we should use Twitter/Facebook more often to report news and let people know? I'm clueless, though, most posts already got the idea

A GTW forum looks like a good idea, but I'm not sure if that wouldn't count as a weird duplication of TGTAP even if it's just to discuss GTA finds. After all we can also do that in TGTAP, unless you somehow merged both purposes and expanded TGTAP if you know what I'm trying to say.

'Sup. I'm still around, there's just not a lot to talk about as some of you said. When GTA V hits we will see our share of activity again, it's pretty good to remember the old times, but these were other times, people were younger, some of them and didn't have a lot to do, it's a bit different now, and the GTA V information drought isn't helping either. The gang scene was what kept this alive at times, but it still was on the private forums, which didn't add anything worth discussing. There was also the MTA server, but that was always full of hackers and pretty much literally failed, but I think TGTAP will see its share of activity again in the future. Edit: OGTAM? Shit, I still remember when that guy got banned, but I never really knew the reason at the time. I guess I do now. He also had hot chicks in his sigs.

I'm guessing you use Windows Vista/7. Sometimes Windows saves residual files which the game loads stuff from sometimes. So go on C:\users\(youruser)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (Or Program Files (x86) if on 64-bit) and delete the Rockstar Games folder, if it exists. Then try installing the mod again.

Hmm, that's odd, I never got it to work properly on Windows 7 with the GTA VC 1.0 or 1.1.

I don't think it's a problem with the Steam version of the game, most likely with the OS. Personally I could never get those trainers to work, they always threw that kind of error, so I'm not sure. Try Windows XP/98 compatibility on VC and the trainer or something, but it could be something with the OS itself, even though I dunno what you're using.

It's been said on the Take 2 financial conference that they're expecting GTA V this fiscal year, so before April 2013. Bioshock Infinite is in the end of March, so that would leave room for Rockstar between today and March... To allow for Bioshock marketing they would use maybe a month, so I'd guess January/February.

In May 2011 a new law came into effect across the EU (European Union) concerning the use of cookies on web sites which are owned by organisations or individuals located within the EU. The deadline for compliance with this law is Saturday 26th May 2012, after which owners of non-compliant web sites can be prosecuted, and the maximum fine (in the UK) is £500,000. Compliance basically requires the site to pro-actively ask the user whether they agree that the site can store cookies on their computer. Individual EU countries appear to be taking their own approach to applying the law.... So, I ask, should UK webmasters be worried? It also did from a member point of view I guess, I find it more detailed, it shows how many points have been attained to you, then details saying the type of warning (Even though this was already present) and a prettier way to show the reason, etc. Anyway IPB is really improving. I wonder what those guys are planning for IPB 4.

It's pretty possible they could be early GTA V leftovers, after all Rockstar has done this before with other games unpurposely, causing possible leaks just as now. I doubt it's for Agent unless it will use GTA vehicles. It's perfectly noticeable it's not complete though.. On the same GTAForums thread, these members had found more files allegedly with info but never leaked them.
