Very suspicious a month topic bump by an admin and saying Los Santos Well it would be a great setting if they actually expanded to the rest of LA, if not making almost the whole damn city, now that would be awesome. The storyline would be great aswell, maybe GTA San Andreas style, or the countryside with LS again, would be awesome too.

I've seen this earlier, I've actually thought we might not have any GTA for a while longer if they're so confident. Either that or some announcement is nearby and they're expecting their shares to raise like hell after a 3 year GTA absence.

Recovery partitions on pre-built PC's have the whole operating system set up by the manufacturer so you can use some BIOS function or even some CD to recover it with drivers and programs preinstalled. Ubuntu installation can be installed side-to-side with Windows and it will create its partitions for itself with different file systems, it shouldn't affect the recovery partition, even though if you ever need to recover from it, the Ubuntu boot manager will disappear and you'll lose all data in Ubuntu but stay with it on the hard drive. Uninstalling Ubuntu would be another problem, even though you could use GParted (A live-cd application for partitioning) you would stay with the Ubuntu partition unallocated and you couldn't really add it to any existing partition unless it was fully formatted/unallocated, and after GParted using the recovery disk to recover the boot sectors with Repair Windows Startup option.

Evo, there's more than that. For example under the hood in the ACP, it's completely remodelled (pink menus...) and there are several new functions and rewritten functions aroung the forum. The fact Calendar, Awards and Chat redirect to the forum index means they weren't configured/possibly recoded in the case of Awards and the forum can't access them anymore because the engine changed.

Actually sometimes the game saves files to a folder called VirtualStore in Windows Vista and 7, which sometimes acts as the game's cache and the game loads them anyway even after reinstalled. After uninstalling, delete the folders said by Gerard but also go to C:\Users\(youruser\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files and delete the Rockstar Games folder, if any.
