¿Hola, cómo eres?

Meh, need to change the wordfilters... will do soon I expect... can't be bothered right now.

This is all going very offtopic but what the hell are you all reading this 200,000 figure from. They're about to reach the 150,000 milestone in the next couple of days but you're adding on an extra FIFTY THOUSAND users to that total? That's a hell of a lot of users to exaggerate by, and I'm not saying 150,000 is small because it's not, it's still massive... but yeah, kinda inaccurate to go around saying that My city apparently has a population of around 111,000 so there's more than enough accounts to go around. Anyway this is massively off topic, I thought we were supposed to be sharing lists of forums we are a member of.

7.2mp. I just had a look at the EXIF data and found out the camera model and looked it up MP != quality, though, there's more to it than that.

I think it might be to do with Niko finding and meeting [for the first time in LC] his cousin Roman [special someone]. Someone said it would be about girlfriends but I don't think that will be the case, they wouldn't dedicate a whole trailer to girlfriends, the most hated feature of San Andreas.

Guys this WHOIS is faked (which is actually illegal to do). http://whois.domaintools.com/grandtheftauto5.com The domain's nameservers are pointing to a web host and the domain itself is with a domain parking company. The registrant has simply changed the contact details to those of Mike Torok, the current R* webmaster. As you can see, the registrar is Moniker.com. Rockstar always use Register.com for their domains, and their nameservers are always on rockstargames.com or take2games.com, so the fact none of this is evident in the WHOIS, confirms that this is faked data, and R* do NOT own this domain name. Also, they don't own gta5.com either, so it's not even as if they're in the process of transferring it. Why would Rockstar offer Rockstar a lot of money for the GTA domain? And they did it with GTA IV way back when, also. They are probably just making sure they don't have to pay a lot for these names. Thats true, plus Rockstar don't pay people for the domains if I'm no mistake, they usually sort it out over the phone and send the user a packages with some collectibles. Don't quote me on this though. No, that only works if the company hasn't trademarked the name/brand or whatever it is. In which case they have no legal way to claim the domain, so they have to resort to offering money as an incentive to give up the domain. Since R* own the trademarks to Grand Theft Auto in terms of video games, merchandise etc, Rockstar can simply ask you to give up the domain if they want it. If they don't think it's necessary then they wont. What happened with gtaiv.com was that I wanted this domain a couple of years ago, however the guy was asking $500 for it which at the time I couldn't justify so I just lost interest in it. Earlier this year another GTA webmaster wanted it so he could make a fansite, but emailed R* about it to see if they could acquire it for him as he wanted to create a legitimate site for it (it was currently just parked with some company). Rockstar then decided that they themselves wanted the domain, and asked him to hand it over. He did obviously as he didn't have any case, as GTAIV is trademarked by R*. The domain now redirects to the official GTA IV website.

Owned. It is though, which is unfortunate for him, I believe he'll have to send it off to MS to get it fixed or be sent a new one. Luckily that's never happened to me.

Lol, well I just realised this topic is 9 days old anyway and it doesn't look like the guy stayed here for very long. But I guess it could help people searching for this in the future anyway.

Actually there is, don't say that. I take no credit for this at all, but a member of gtaforums, Warp3, uploaded this video gif of how to do it: http://www.myimage.us/view_image/f9e9e026/...landviataxi.gif I hope that helps. And note to others, this only works on the PSP version, not the PS2. Also, Nitzkit shows how to do it the stunters way in the original Vice City, I believe it can also be done in Vice City Stories too though: http://media.putfile.com/beach-island---stunters-way

I just tried this again for the first time in months, I see there's a new server in the UK now which is a little closer to me than London. Still pretty similar speed on the London server though. And these were done in the middle of the day, if I do the tests in the middle of the night when much less people are online I can get much faster speeds.

Explain how this complicateds things and fills your history. To everyone wanting bookmarks, WTF, just use the thread subscription tools, that's what they are for. It's a function nearly all board software has. If it's different then please do explain how your bookmarking would work...

Don't worry about getting mirrors up on YouTube and other sites (honestly who wants to watch it in the shit quality YouTube produces anyway). Rockstar haven't specified a time which means there won't be millions of people online at once. I'll have TGTAP server get a copy downloaded while I'm downloading it myself (the server has a 100mb connection so it will be downloaded in mere seconds). I can then post the link up here, and I'll also put it on rapidshit too. Though we shouldn't need that.

LOL I was in the middle of typing up Take Two financial results news post, threw that out and quickly posted trailer news instead. I'll merge this topic. EDIT: No I won't, this is now closed, please go here to discuss this news.

The second Grand Theft Auto IV trailer will be hitting the Internet on June 28th! It will be titled "Looking for that special someone". The splash page on the official website has now been updated to reflect this new trailer's arrival. Also included in the email from the R* mailing list was one new artwork which you can view in full by clicking the thumbnail to the right. Expect another round of widespread server crashes in 17 days! Link: Official GTA IV Website

LOL. Both of you above (Gycu and Charger) had replied to a couple of his topics, as evidenced by the screenshot. Well done bumping them, did you think he was actually going to read your replies? And what did you say, "stop spamming"? This is why we always discourage posting in spam topics here, it just makes them more noticeable so more people see it.

Among numerous big announcements and revelations by Apple today, the company has announced it's popular Mac-only browser is now coming to Windows XP and Vista! For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of using a recent Mac computer, Safari is actually a pretty decent web browser that rivals Firefox and others, it's renowned for always being pretty quick - looks like it'll be that way on Windows too. Check out the Apple Safari website for more information on the browser and it's features, where Apple are heavily boasting about its speed. You'll find download links for the beta of version 3 there. I'm downloading it right now for Windows (already use version 2 on my Mac) and I'll let you know how it compares to other browsers. For me personally, I still think I will prefer Firefox, even if it is slower, it still has tons of extensions and themes that safari just doesn't have. Anyway let us know what you think of it if you try it out. Do you find it faster than your current browser? Will you switch to it when the final version comes out or will you stick to your current one?

Processor: Nice, although the clock speed is 2.2Ghz.... or are you adding both cores up? Yes you probably are RAM: Nice GFX: lol! HDD: Not bad Good buy I say. Enjoy it

Nice troll, idiot. That image is simply an example as to how your browser will get if you click Yes on all the popups etc. for installing toolbars from generally malicious websites. And toolbars make your browser go slower not faster, that's obvious, anything you add to a browser will slow it down - it is not in the least bit surprising. Also, Google make the google toolbar for IE and Firefox, so in fact your whole trolling rant is rendered obsolete. GTFO this topic. Next person to make browser war references in this topic gets perma b&. The only browser comments I want are those reporting bugs (such as the fuck up in IE6). Other than that thanks for the comments.

Resistance fall of man complaint on the news
Chris replied to Harwood Butcher's topic in Members' Lounge
Um, it hasn't been taken off the shelves yet, that's just want the church want. This comes SIX MONTHS after the game's release. I'm not sure how it well affect any sequels. But it's pretty lame anyway, retarded argument on the churches part. -
God damn. Americans. What do you guys have guns FOR? Shooting game? That's OK, but just for show, or worse, your own protection? Things are really that bad huh? Oh don't mind me, I'm just your standard Britfag.... in the UK, unless you live in somewhere like Manchester, or East London, there isn't much gun crime at all in the country.

There are new wordfilters in place. Come up with a nice insult and see what it turns out as. Oh and no editing around in your posts. I'd love to just gently caress her and then ram it up her entry point, just frolicking around really. Can you guess teh swearzorz?!

Is it heavy? WTF is that, it's not a question. It should just say "Weight" like normal people say. Other than this is quite useful. Although rather than that Japanese site you could have just used ours although I guess they're too small and crap quality But yes this is useful and made of win so rep for you.
-
Yes it is. I'll be changing it later today though, and also adding some more amusing swear word replacements.

Honestly just build a computer yourself if you're so determined to have a decent gaming machine, not only will it be just how you want it, you'll also save hundreds of [insert currency here]. @Urbanoutlaw: What settings do the GTA games "fly" with because your PC seems pretty average to be honest. I mean it's good enough, sure, but for them to play that well I'm not so sure.

Ever wanted to download off Youtube?
Chris replied to Wheelman101's topic in Music, Film, TV & Sports
Yeah pretty old, but the question really is this: Who the hell wants to download off youtube? For videos, youtube has to be the single WORST quality video website I have ever seen. It honestly is really shit by today's standards. And other websites can do a better job with quality, to be honest I think google video itself is better, possibly Revver too. See the Firefox topic for links to decent extensions which download video of pretty much ANY website, rather than just those listed above
