This is the time when reviews of Liberty City Stories, start pouring in. IGN kick us off with their review, with the subtitle "A full-fledged criminal underworld ready for all to explore. And hey, it even fits in your pocket." The review also contains some new screenshots. IGN rated the game 9 out of 10, while the average reader score is currently at 9.3. 1UP.com have also posted their review in a peculiar artistic format, giving it 9.0. Its user reviews are rather mixed though.

None of my friends have a PSP either.

What's so funny?

Rockstar have just updated the official LCS site, just received word from them a few minutes ago. The new trailer showing off the mutiplayer mode is available in Windows Media and Quicktime formats as usual, as well as the PSP version. There are also plenty of new screens on the website, which you can now see on our screenshots page. Also on the screenshots page are images from the recent IGN article that Rockstar have sent to us. As one of the projects I set myself to improve my PHP skills, Image Lodge was formed. I have created this website from scratch, the layout, images, and PHP coding was all done by myself. Image Lodge is like other image hosts, it's entirely free to use, but with us you get tons more storage space and bandwidth than most other providers. Thumbnails are automatically generated for most images, and you are given HTML code and BBCode for posting on websites and forums. In your control panel you are able to manage all your images, get BBcode for them, move them into trash if you don't want them anymore, or even permanently delete them. More features are planned for the future, these include multiple uploading, rotate an image, and various other effects that can be applied. We'd appreciate it if you all now used Image Lodge for your first place for hosting images, tell all your friends about it too. Whenever you need to post an image on these forums, just host it at Image Lodge. Please let me know what you think of the service and provide your feedback and suggestions if you have any, also let me know id you find any bugs in the site when using it.

I don't think there's any point anyway it would just be GTA3 with a few extras. In fact I don't want another GTA game on PS2, they should concentrate on next gen stuff now.

This time it's true, at lunchtime today the game's UK distributor Gem confirmed it at EuroGamer. There's no reasoning behind the delay, and so far the US release remains unaffected. Which is still scheduled for the 25th (tomorrow). We'll update you if we receive anymore news concerning any of the release dates. In the latest issue of OPM, the first magazine to have a review of Liberty City Stories, a new multiplayer mode is revealed called Wedding List - A free-for-all scramble to take cars and drive them to designated shipping crates. So it's not too dissimilar from the film "Gone In 60 Seconds" where the protagonist must deliver a list of 50 cars... In a quote from the start of the review it's clear that LCS still has problems like previous GTA's and even the new weapon aiming feature is deemed "unessential" Thanks to OG_Loc87 on the IGN boards for this.

It seems Rockstar are planning even more teaser sites, Adriaan has done a little research and found 3 more domains registered recently that are all pointing to one of Rockstar's servers. CrowFest98.com - Possibly a crow festival. Pastmaster-Game.com - A historical education game, probably a parody of Postmaster. ItsVivisection.com - Vivisection refers to the dissection of a live animal for scientific purposes. These domains will probably launch this weekend as it's the last weekend before release.

Tesco.com, the UK's largest supermarket retailer have revealed the rear box art for Liberty City Stories. Listed on their LCS product page, it's not high quality but we can make out a couple of new screenshots of the game. Thanks to Neil for the news. Also in LCS news, popular French gaming site GameKult have posted their article about fashion in Liberty City (translated as "Toni, Victim of fashion"), no new info but they do have a few new screens that weren't seen on the other big gaming sites previously. We'll be adding these screens to our database shortly.

Since things on the GTA scene will be staying rather quiet for the time being, I've decided to branch out and look forward to future games as well as GTA4. I've decided to create a fansite for a game that is awe-inspiring, the psychological action thriller, Alan Wake. It will be coming out on PC, PS3 and X360 next year probably. AlanWakeCentral.com is the home of my brand new site. It's still being worked on of course, and there isn't much content, but that will be more complete by the weekend. If you haven't heard of or seen footage of Alan Wake yet then I do urge you too because it's simply amazing, head over to the alan wake downloads section where you can find 2 trailers. If youve got a fast connection then you must definitely download that High Definition 1280x720 widescreen 2 minute video, it looks fantastic. In addition to the website I've also set up some new forums with a decent domain. You can check them out at AlanWakeForums.com. I'd appreciate it if you all join and post there to get them started, as they obviously aren't well known yet. It would also be nice if you have any suggestions or feeback that you let me know either here or preferably at Alan Wake Forums so I can improve the site... Hope you all like it
