Good news for those of you with iPhones and iPads who don't own Chinatown Wars or Beaterator yet, Rockstar has slashed the prices of these two games for a limited time only (offer ends 11:59pm EST, Sunday, 31st July) to celebrate the summer. GTA Chinatown Wars can now be grabbed for just $2.99 (£1.99 / 2,39 €) for iPhone and iPod touch, those of you dreaming a little bigger can go for the iPad version. Beaterator is even more of a steal at just $0.99 (£0.69 / 0,79 €) for the iPhone or iPod touch. While we're on the subject of mobile apps, you may also be interested in GTA Cheats (disclosure: an app I developed myself), which is available for both iPhone / iPad and Android OS and completely free of charge. It contains all the cheats for every GTA game on every console, that of course includes Chinatown Wars for iOS. You can grab that from the App Store or the Android Market. Have fun!

So did I. Oh well, to stay on topic I haven't used an anti-virus program since the good old days of Windows XP, years and years ago since I bothered to install one. Never got a virus. I don't really know how to get one either since I don't use IE. I don't open attachments in spam email... how the fuck else can I get one?

The popular modding tool OpenIV received a long awaited update today, with the release of version 0.9.2 of the software. This latest version gives modders the opportunity to edit WDR and WDD model files, meaning we can now expect ped mods for GTA IV and EfLC. The usability and stability of the program is also said to be much better, along with a number of minor bug fixes improving the general functionality. So keep an eye for lots of new mods being released in the coming weeks, below is a little teaser video, download links can be found at the bottom of this post. All of these sites deserve to get hacked. They're all big sites that should know better, they have money, they should have employed programmers who can do their jobs properly. Any site storing passwords in plain text is a massive breach of its users' trust. Yes it sucks for those users who got their passwords leaked, but if the site just encrypted the user's password (incredibly simple to do) they would have had no problem. Even if TGTAP did get hacked, which I highly doubt is likely due to the fact we only have about 40k members, we're not mentally retarded enough to think it would be a good idea to store your passwords in plain text. Also, why are you guys saying the hackers are "pathetic". You'd only say that if you were one of the users who got his password leaked out. What they're doing is a good thing. Without them, too many websites would be getting away with the crime of storing sensitive data in plain text for everyone to see. Just think, any database administrator legitimately employed by those websites can see your password, do you trust these idiots with it? I wouldn't. What these hackers are doing is raising awareness of the fact that it most definitely is NOT safe to store plain text passwords. They're doing a good job and I hope more high profile sites fall victim, since it seems to be the only way to get them to improve their security measures.

Strangely, it's the actual BLURRING that makes it look fake If someone showed me supposed screens of GTA V I'd be much more inclined to believe them if they were good quality. I don't know what people expect to achieve by blurring their fakes because that just makes them look more fake :/
