  1. I'm talking way more advanced, or rather specific, than simply using OR and - modifiers though
  2. hey dun put a slash there there is a big difference. half greek half italian lol. yer. its like a superpower XD so annoying though i wish i could just press a button and it will disappear. Ah yeah I didn't mean the slash to say they were the same thing, I just wasn't sure which you were that's all, even though they are actually pretty much the same thing, come on Nah it's just because I saw your surname on facebook and recognised the suffix to be of one coming from the Greek language so narrowed it down to those 2 countries, the facial hair stereotype confirmed it Do you (normally) have to shave it everyday?
  3. True story. Apart from Bear's since it was a quote by me that people seemed to like, anyone else who now makes one of these topics shall be B&
  4. Yeah he's kinda suited to the role, being typecast as playing a slightly (or very) insane character in many films he's in. Hmm... I love how us film buffs took this general discussion topic into more of a film discussion topic No one has anything else in general they'd like to discuss? Feel free to chip in with something other than films if you're bored of our talk.
  5. He died during post-production but fortunately I think they didn't need to re-shoot any of his scenes, if they did I guess they must've deleted them. LOL the one with Arnold as Mr Freeze was so retarded, that's definitely the worst Batman film. The film just called Batman (1989) with Jack Nicholson as the Joker is easily the best of the old ones.
  6. LOL obvious Greek/Cypriot heritage ^ You guys are blessed with insane facial hair growth ability. Nice pics Siouxsie
  7. Haha that kid is a fucking douche though. People would perhaps feel sorry for him with the disease he suffers from if he didn't act like a complete dick all the time. People hate him because he's such a wigga trying to be cool and failing so hard. And sadly he doesn't seem to realise people are laughing at him not with him. Read more on ED: Birdman
  8. Here is our third weekly roundup of new vehicle mods for GTA IV, now moved to a Monday so I can include weekend releases here, though it's possible we'll do these updates twice a week from now on, of course depending on the number of releases we have to post. Before I link to the new mods, a bit of news from the modelling community, in particular Zmodeler again. If you've been using mods you'll have noticed damage is not the same as on the default cars in the game. However, Oleg recently released an update for his ZModeler2 WFT export filter. The update allows the creation of proper mesh deformation using specific shader names, and the majority of these new mods have been created since then, and thus have proper damage. For those who don't care and just want to get the mods, take a look at these: Bikes Mini NRG900 Mini PCJ600 Trainers / Handling 100% Perfect Drift Handling ProVehicleMod 1.0 (vehicle spawner) Trucks Kamaz 5410 Renault Magnum Cars 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda AAR 340 1986 Volkswagen Gol LS 2006 BMW M5 E60 2005 Ferrari F430 Ford GT Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Ghostbusters Caddie GoKart Mod 1.1 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Mazda 3 Sport Mazda RX-7 FD3s Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X NYC Wildlife Control Ambulance Porsche Cayman S
  9. Well, someone always rips it from somewhere, and if you know how to use Google like a boss pro, like me, then you'll be able to find it no trouble at all. PM me if you want it.
  10. Oh yeah completely forgot that was him, haha. Sin City is another movie among my all time favourites. I got it on BluRay as soon as it came out!
  11. Or another video that uses the entire song. Then you can download the video and rip the audio from it (if you don't know how I'll tell you later if you can find a vid).
  12. Well here goes my replies to an epic amount of quotes in this topic. Replying to almost every poster since my last one Got a 1080p rip last night and it looks fucking epic. Will watch it tonight, if it's good I'll be buying it on BluRay for sure. Yes you really do need to watch City of God. Brilliant film. I've only seen three French films, haven't seen the one you're talking about. But I don't think they'll ever beat Amelie. Yes I thought that was a great film. There was a couple of things that didn't make any logical sense in it towards the end (not really spoiling it but I won't go into details anyway), but overall a pretty decent film. Tomb Raider wasn't very good IMO. The first one was alright actually but the second sucked for the most part. Although they generally aren't regarded as being good, I think the Resident Evil movies are actually fairly decent, the first and the third anyway. The second one was disappointing, and Degeneration (the CGI film) lacked decent CGI (compared to say Final Fantasy which has awesome CGI action) And yeah, Spiderman is responsible for all the reboots, before that it was pretty much just the old Superman and Batman films, the vast majority of which very pretty awful. As in all film adaptations ever? I"m sure there has been a few good ones. Also I'm totally gay for Helena Bonham Carter. That woman is amazing! Johnny Depp is awesome and always looks better with makeup. I want to see Alice and Wonderland but the story does freak me out a bit. I love the first two spiderman films, the third was a bit lame. I really don't like the new Batman films, they just appeal to me. I watched the Dark Knight and I was so bored. Yeah she's a pretty decent actress isn't she. Haven't seen Sweeney Todd yet but it's on my to watch list. I FUCKING LOVE the new Batman films, I rated both 10/10 and are two of my favourite movies of all time. Yeah the first was good and second pretty good as well. Third was stupid. Haven't yet seen The Watchmen. I've seen screenshots of his dong and have skipped through he film. Can't see what all the fuss is about to be honest. Looks like a fairly normal sized penis to me but most of the time he was shot from the waist up I believe. I think the people talking about it are people with small penises to be honest. Also. Double Standards much!? Remember Rebbeca Romijn's character in X-Men. She was pretty much naked the entire time under all the blue paint/make up. No one complained then did they. It's practically the same thing. You're the first person I've seen publicly say they enjoyed the third, let alone rated it better than the first two. Why do you think it's better just out of interest? Really? I haven't watched it all yet but it seems pretty decent. Plus, Christian Bale is in it which instantly makes it 100x better than it would have been Well yeah they'll never beat T2, everyone knows that T3 wasn't that good though really. Shit compared to T2. And OMG dissing Christian Bale. His American accent is flawless though how can you complain. IIRC he's only ever once played a British character in a modern feature film. He's one of the best actors around and I can't understand why you think he's wrong for the part. I thought it suited him perfectly. Nick Stahl wasn't really that great in T3. It was only the final scene in T3 where he even showed any semblence of the leader he would come to be. I guess maybe he'd have faired better as T4 John Connor than T3 John Connor. I think it's a more demanding role.
  13. Yeah who doesn't (actually pretty much everyone ) Well City of God is based on a Brazilian TV series of the same name, but you don't really need to have seen it to follow the film. According to people's reviews if you have seen it the main benefit will be knowing more about the characters. It's a similar style film to City of God (though it's not related, not a sequel or anything), it follows the lives of two best friends as they grow up (well, they're both about to turn 18), finding things out about their fathers' pasts which challeneges their friendship - all this going on while rival drug gangs in Rio de Janeiro are at war. EDIT: IMDb link if you wanna check it out in more detail: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870090/ Haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth but it's on my to watch list
  14. You just named two of my favourite films of all time! Have you seen City of Men as well? It's not as good as City of God imo but still a very good film.
  15. Can't really remember any of the old Disney films too well since it's been ages since I've seen any of them. And yeah the live action version of 101 Dalmatians was pretty rubbish, don't really remember the animated version though so I can't really compare. @Bear: Yeah I love foreign films too. I find that because they aren't "Hollywood" they tend to have much better stories. A lot of people don;t like them because you have to read subtitles and stuff but it doesn't bother me at all. And I much prefer reading subs than I do listening to English dubbed versions, they just sound wrong. I've watched loads of foreign films recently though.
  16. Really? I'm into Sofia Coppola. I loved Lost In Translation and Marie Antionette. <3 Have you seen The Virgin Suicides? I haven't, and I'm looking for opinions before I do. Nope, sorry. I've heard it's pretty good though.
  17. I'm always watching films, pretty much at least one every day. So what sort of films are you into, guarantee you I can recommend something you should like.
  18. I dunno, go ahead and make it if you want. It sounds less shitty than a completely random topic like we've had before, and less "what's going on in your life" than our community thread.
  19. Definitely the best logo I've ever seen them make. The one they did for Nikola Tesla was also very awesome.
  20. You can't afford £2 for a domain? Fucking cheapskate lol. 2 quid. Jesus. Really? You do realise no one will donate anyway don't you? 1. Your site is currently non-existent 2. Why would they want to be a premium member? 3. You can get all that shit elsewhere for free anyway.
  21. I think he's a bit of a dickhead actually.
  22. Rockstar Games have announced that The Ballad of Gay Tony will be released on October 29, 2009. The game will be available for purchase by itself or as part of GTA: Episodes from Liberty City, which contains both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. The official site has also been updated with the first official desktop wallpaper featuring some nice character art. Gracie Ancelotti is the girl you're looking at, she's the girl Niko kidnaps during the mission "I'll Take Her". Also, in case you were wondering, Episodes from Liberty City does have it's own official site.
